Hey Coy, future video suggestion…. At the end of year, I’d love to see how this anticipated list compares to your top 25 movies watched. Will Superman be #1 on both lists, what ranks higher, what drops, etc. Keep up the solid work for the community brotha! Much respect 🤝🏽
Stellar list Coy! Very similar to mine, but I had to drop off Mission Impossible and Paddington for the Kendrick Lamar/Trey Parker comedy and Del Toro’s Frankenstein! Sinners is definitely my #1 most anticipated of the year
Fantastic list Coy, I'm looking forward to all of these as well. I do hope Sinners gets more hype/ buzz because it could be something special and I want it to do well.
- Sinners - Mission Impossible - The Final Reckoning - Captain America: Brave New World - Wicked: For Good - Michael Are my Top 5 most anticipated movies in 2025.
2025 1/ new movies 2/ new tv and binges off all the shows i should have seen 3/ and the 395 unwatched films on my watchlist .... here wo again happy new year coy
Accountant 2 is definitely on my list! I also level with you on Superman experience on the big screen (first for me) It's time for a great year of movies!
Damn you Coy! I just watched The Accountant!! How did I miss that movie!!?? What an enjoyable popcorn movie!! Now looking forward to the sequel. Not in my top for 2025 but will definitely watch it in the theater
My top 5 is almost your top 5. But switch Paddington out for Mickey 17. I am ridiculously happy about another Accountant movie. I feel like I've been singing its praises for so long. 2025 is going to be bananas.
I haven't watched all of the first two Paddington films. However, being in the UK Paddington in Peru was released in November and I took my niece and nephew. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.
Awesome list Coy Here’s my ranking of my most anticipated 2025 films 1. Fantastic four 2. Superman 3. Avatar fire and ash 4. Jurassic world rebirth 5. Cap 4 6. Thunderbolts 7. Tron ares 8. 28 years later 9. How to train your dragon 10. Predator badlands
Decent list. As a Brit, for once we get a film before you, so I can say that although I don’t think you’ll give Paddington In Peru 5 stars, I do think it’ll make you smile and that’s always a good thing. Oh and stay for the mid credits scene.
i grew up with the HTTYD trilogy. i dont think everything needs a live action adaptation but damn that music gets me every time. Growing up i wanted nothing more than seeing those dragons with a realistic texture and now im getting it. Idc if its a shot for shot remake, im just excited to see dragons on the big screen.
Same #1 as you, but for other-side-of-the-coin reasons. I've never been a big Superman guy. Tried many a book, including All-Star, but just never really come away loving it. (Closest was Red Son.) And I've seen most of the films (not Reeve's latter two) with the same effect. BUT. I tend to like James Gunn's stuff. Guardians are three of my favorite MCU films, and I was one of the few who did know them before the movie was announced. Slither is an all-time favorite of mine, too. I enjoyed TSS, as well. So if anyone can make me love a Superman movie, I feel like it's this guy. And the teaser did nothing to disabuse me of that notion.
I’m really excited for the Superman movie and I never was a Superman fan until I just started reading comics and I got John Byrne Superman run for a Christmas present and it’s soooo goooood
My most anticipated movies for 2025 1. Superman 2. Mission Impossible 8 3. JW: Rebirth 4. I Know What You Did Last Summer 5. Fantastic Four 6. Five Nights at Freddy's 2

During Covid I started getting into the Arrowverse DC and like almost simultaneously into MCU. Since then I really grew interested in Comics and their adaptations especially DC. I got my first comics Death of Dr. Strange and Batman:Hush. Maybe not the best to start with, but I love those characters and I really liked them. Now with DC rebooting I watched more and more DC content on RUclips and thanks to you and others I also got into the broader world of movies and TV. My dad always watched war movies and like movies from his time, so I never really got into cinema like that. But this year is stacked and I definitely already have a list of movie I wanna watch next year! Lots of love from Germany for you, Coy! 🫶🏻
1) Superman 2) Mission Impossible, because I’m an OG MI super fan even if the McQuarrie films are kinda bland 3) Avatar, because they’re incredible, even if you forget them right after 4) FF even though it somehow still kinda looks too McU Shoutout to tv series Lanterns and Andor s2
Fantastic Four is definitely my number 1 now that we have Disney/Marvel and not Fox making it. I hope Superman is good and I normally trust James Gunn but for me I’ve been burned way too much by WB to trust them so not as excited. More of a wait and hope the reviews by both critics and fans is good before I even think about seeing another DC film. 28 years later, Mission Impossible and How to train your dragon are all definitely in my top 10/top 5.
28 years later would be in my top 5 along with Sinners & Accountant 2. Well my Big 3... dont really care about anything else(minus that Kendrick project, so)
I'm nervous about Fantastic Four First Steps. I don't like the casting for Reed Richards. The FF is my favorite Marvel title to collect. I like the idea of a 1960s style time period. I'm most excited for Superman, though.
The OFFICIAL Most Anticipated Movies List of 2025: 1. Fantastic Four 2. Thunderbolts* 3. Captain America: Brave New World 4. Avatar: Fire and Ash 5. Sinners 6. Superman 7. Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning 8. Ballerina 9. Jurassic: Rebirth 10. F1 I have spoken..... Don't @ me. ✌🏾✌🏾
Superman is the only movie I care about this year. Maybe Fantastic 4 but I still need to see the first trailer. Marvel’s quality has been downgrading in recent years post End Game so I don’t trust them anymore lmao
10. Jurassic World: Rebirth 9. Karate Kid: Legends 8. 28 Years Later 7. Ballerina 6. Superman 5. Captain America: Brave New World 4. Thunderbolts* 3. The Fantastic 4: First Steps 2. Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning 1. Avatar: Fire and Ash
Nothing separates us from animals. We are animals. Other animals have and utilize culture. You say we need to give more respect to movies, well you need to give more respect to non-human animals.
There are a lot of movies this year that have me very excited, but I'm fairly confident in saying the most anticipated movie in 2025 for me personally is "The Fantastic Four First Steps." In a year with James Gunn's Superman and even other intriguing offerings from Marvel, I think Fantastic Four looks like the most visually unique and stunning comic book movie in the history of the genre just from the few pieces of leaked footage and concept art I've seen online from D23 and Comic-Con. The awe-inspiring wonder and weird nostalgia for a time in our history that doesn't even really exist, that being the retro futuristic 60s of that universe's version of Earth. Having the Fantasti-Car, 60's era optimism, and even Herbie in a Fantastic Four movie that's so visually differentiated from the rest of its predecessors makes me so excited to get my hands on our first official look whenever that ends up coming out. I also love the casting for pretty much all of the members of Marvel's first family, especially Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm. I'm very happy that they're coming out swinging with the Fantastic Four's 2nd most popular and menacing villain, Galactus. Giving the audience something they have been eagerly awaiting, a perfect comic accurate visual adaptation of Galactus that looks nothing like a cloud. They also cast the perfect voice for him. The last thing I want to add do the many reasons why I'm excited for this film is the wonderfully Majestic score composed by Michael Giacchino that gives me a sense of unbreakable hope and a familial bond strong enough to face down the Devourer of Worlds. The score perfectly encapsulates and represents the exact feeling I get when I read A Fantastic Four comic crafted by Jack Kirby. I guess the final thing I'm gonna to say to wrap this comment up is that it looks like everything Jack Kirby and Stan Lee put on a page being perfectly translated to the silver screen under the incredibly talented direction of Matt Shackman. I'm hyped for this movie, and I can already tell this year is going to be a great one for comic book stories and adaptations! 4️⃣ (Sorry for the LONG comment. I just had a lot I wanted to say.)
The live action “How To Train Your Dragon” doesn’t seem necessary, if they don’t deviate from the original film. I’m sure “The Accountant 2” will be cool, but it’s cringe to turn autism into a superpower.

What an honourable introductory about Ryan Coogler !
I agree
FANTASTIC list Coy, I'm glad someone else is as excited for "The Accountant 2" as I am 🤘🏼😃🤘🏼!!!
Looking forward to a lot of these films, but as a massive DC fan my hype for Superman is much more than others
Happy to see the Sinners hype! Probably my most anticipated off the top of my head. Coogler hasn’t missed in my opinion and the trailer was stellar!

I think Superman has the potential to be a billion dollar movie
Not with F4 same release window.
@@samthomas3383same with jurrasic world. That’s probably a guaranteed billion
