My dad had a trucking company for many years and baught most of his trailers from Utility in Salt Lake. I remember the first one he got new in 1964 A forty foot reefer with a propane Thermo King. Utility trailers hold up pretty good and definitely trade better than other makes.

Why aren't disc brakes, tire inflation systems, and logistic rails a standard feature already? That trailer looks a lot like the ones sold 20 years ago. Biggest difference is that they cost 3 times as much now....
We offer every option to our customers in Salt Lake City, Utah. Some prefer drum brakes and others have no use for e-track, so we're able to save them some money.

Great question! When you're looking at used refrigerator trailers, checking the unit hours is a smart move. If the unit has less than 10,000 hours, it's usually in pretty good shape. Between 10,000 and 20,000 hours can still be okay if it's been taken care of.

Could you explain more on the e track...What are the benefits and the negative on having it. ..So some or most won't load you for food??
E-track allows for any E-track compatible accessory to be used. Most commonly would be load bars and ratchet straps. When used correctly they can secure a load better than load bars alone. Many customers hauling food prefer using E-track. Galvanized E-track is recommended to prevent rusting. Visible rust in a reefer could be a reason for not getting loaded. Majority of customers hauling food have no regulations restricting E-track. Be sure you know your shippers requirements as each shipper can have unique standards.

@@deanlutgert8292 We'd be happy to take a look at your flooring, see whats going on. It's quite common for reefers to come with heavy-duty duct flooring, but some folks do modify them with wood floors for specific types of cargo. Let us know how we can assist you further!
