That Big Steel kit sounds orgasmic man; especially that snare and kick combo. The toms hit pretty hard too. At first I wasn't sure about how "dry" it sounded, but it actually mixes very well and sounds great with the brightness of your cymbals. Looking forward to seeing more of this new Tama (assuming it's yours).
How do you get your kick drum to sound so good? I see a lot of bands using triggers and I’m not with it. I’d like to think nice drum mics can make a kick drum sounds better than triggers. Lmk if I’m wrong or crazy 😃
I just got this kit and I was wondering what you use to mount the rack Tom. It doesn’t look like a snare stand. I tried a toms mount but it was gonna scratch the shell of I put it on. Thanks for the amazing video as always! 🤘🏻
