100% report him. I wish LfM or ACC had some sort of mandatory tutorial on proper race craft (when to pass, how to pass, what line belongs to who going through a corner, etc). Not say everyone will comply, but with everyone having known expectations, the penalties can be more frequent to clean this stuff up. Great race, great video. Keep ‘em coming! Cheers!
Thanks mate, yeah I think a lot of the problem is inexperience. Spending so much time hotlapping, but not having the awareness to adjust your driving slightly when there are other cars around. It’s tricky, and this was frustrating, but it didn’t cost me too much this time. Will keep trying!
He looks like the last of the late brakers, not on you at all mate, thanks for the ACC content really do enjoy it cracking video and editing once again, you should have 10 times the subs.
Haha yeah exactly! He’d already terrified me a few times before the crash 🤣 I maybe should have stayed tucked in behind him and followed along. Glad you enjoy the ACC vids mate, I’m still waiting for an absolute classic race full of battling, but there’s gotta be one around the corner!
Ah mate that kind of move might be the thing which gets on my nerves most. It doesn't really matter whether he's quicker, whether he normally brakes later than you etc etc. You can't just drive through someone. I mean, without that basic guideline there is no sim racing to be had! Anyhow, an enjoyable watch despite that, even if it did trigger me a bit! 🤣🤣
Yeah this is it. After worrying whether I brought it on myself, I suddenly looked at it from a different perspective yesterday… I broke slightly earlier to account for the Porsche’s braking in front of me. If the guy behind had done the same for the car in front of him (me), then we’ve got no problem! The frustrating thing is… there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it when this happens behind you. Other than not overtake them, which kinda defeats the point of racing 🤣
As I enjoy your racing and commentary I'll leave it to you where ACC is concerned, I haven't the speed or temperament contemplating these servers so I'll leave it too you to endure the chaos. Thanks buddy.
Haha, you’re a very wise man! I keep trying to persevere with ACC, but I don’t get anywhere near the levels of enjoyment that I do from the other sims. Keep thinking I’m due a cracking race, but it never seems to come!

I’m with you. I’ve tried and tried, but just can’t get to grips with ACC. I like to keep trying, because I feel like there’s a great race in there somewhere. But out of the 4 sims I race, this is my least favourite. It does look gorgeous though! I’d definitely recommend trying rF2 though. It’s a hassle to get set up, but worth it once you’re there!
The spectators at 3:49 don't seem very interested at all. The woman might even be on her phone 😂 A couple of angry driver moves in that one, and Bertaglia appeared to have far more confidence in his brakes than they were capable of. A respectable result though Chris - still a +1 position gain.
Haha, the racing was so bad they turned their backs on it! Yeah, hard going, this one. Don’t think the ping cost me any positions in the end, to be honest. Just meant I spent more time driving on my own, and less time in a battle!

That wasn’t on you at all Chris! To me, it looks like he “saw a gap” on your inside and basically just bombed it full on hoping that it would work for him. So I wouldn’t say he purposely wanted to wreck you, but at best he (with all due respect) lacks vision and racecraft. Usually when I run into these types of guys,I feel that the only way is to either stay behind and wait for them to wreck, or, if I’m ahead, shutting the door fully on every corner, leaving no room for divebombs. Easier said than done of course, especially when you just want to race. Great video Chris! 😊
Yeah, you’re so right. Even while I was passing him, I had this thought in my mind that I was doing the wrong thing and that I’d be safer behind. But I let my heart overrule my brain 🤣 I think you’re correct about the intent too. I don’t think it was malicious. But he did end the race with 26 incident points, which is huge! So there must have been quite a few mistakes through the race.

I guess he was probably driving angry after crashing at T1, and pushing too hard. It was really frustrating at the time, particularly after I’d worked so hard to set up my overtake before it. But I don’t think it cost me too much in the end, maybe 4-5secs and possibly 1 position. On to the next one!
@@chrisrogerssimracing I like your mindset. My very first race in lfm was a shit show and I made so many mistakes even forgetting full stint fuel. I just got out of everyone’s way while trying to complete the race, My second race was significantly better however. I’m enjoying the platform and can’t wait to do more races. Your vids are always so lively. Keep up the good work
