Gerrit Cole's attitude on the mound perfectly correlates with how much control he has over his pitches, and his control just has not been great since he came back this year so we have had soooooo many instances of grumpy gerrit, it's hilarious. One of the worst times I had at Dodger stadium was a Sunday 110 start game with a hangover and wearinv dark clothes sitting next to the visiting bullpen. They even lost that game to the freaking Marlins after their fire sale like 5+ years ago. Ninja said that's like Atlanta all summer but the fans still show up, I don't think it hits 100+ that often there.

It is a change up because of his grip/spin/movement..a bit different from a traditional change up where it fools a hitter thinking its a fast ball and get out ahead of it.
