That is a race for who is the slowest in getting downhill---. I made the drive on the I-15 up and down for quite a while---. Excellent video---thank you.
Amazing that you can relocate fast enough to catch the shots needed to show the continuous action. I can't imagine you flying fast down 138 to stay in front of the, stop and launch your drone, shot and recall it to race to the next launch site. Looks like one gets a good range with those drones b4 one loses contact. It was really nice seeing the pass from a from on high.
You've sure got me figured out good! I just pictured the entire experience over again in my head because that's exactly how it was! This one was done over two different launch locations in the order of the video.
Thanks for a very outstanding video. the color was out of this world, it was so clear and sharp. you got this one in one very small sock. it was outstanding on my wide screen. Thanks again for the video.
If I recall correctly, though the trains are moving in the same direction in the video, timetable wise they are headed in opposite directions. The BNSF train looks to be westbound towards L.A. while the UP train is eastbound headed towards Vegas. It’s a weird thing.
Well, and if so, what if you have no idea of railway videos just keep your mouth shut. No abonentand and even no videos set, but having a big flap is not possible. Head-shot Here a great modelltrain Video ruclips.net/video/2rd2wwtcZpk/видео.html For your comment goes the thump down.
Wow this is really fun to watch! It really reignites my love of trains as a child. I was wondering how you plan your locations. How do you know where to be at what time to catch certain trains? Is there a public schedule? Some sort of strategy? Or does it just happen? This one looks extra special cause it’s like a race, but how hard/easy is it to plan out other lines with just one train? Like the cascade line, or some over in central Oregon? Love the video, thank you!
I have a number of ways to know if trains are running in general or will get a heads up about special trains from people. This one was luck though. I was a bit farther up the line watching both these trains stopped and waiting for other trains pretty close together already. Once one started rolling I just went for it and sure enough the other one started moving shortly after. One train is much easier especially if I know the line I'm on then I have a pretty good idea how long it takes me to get from place to place and how long it takes the train. Cascade line is like my backyard so I know everything that will and won't work.
Railfan Dan wow that’s pretty sweet. One day I want to try this, I got a mavic air and I’m trying to find extra interesting ways of using it. I just need to be able to spot the trains at the right time...
Absolutely beautiful video, well done. However, these guys were definitely NOT racing these downhill trains. Uphill, maybe, but never down. 5 mph over the speed limit would get you fired, and maybe wreck your train if you couldn't slow or stop in time.
@@bibledefinedbymartycozad I actually had to think about it because this is very unfamiliar territory to me as well. Technically here I guess they're kind of Southbound but I don't know how trains are classified in this section.
From homeland i seen this while driving and we always make bets of what train will win the race ,and i can judge tankers will loose cause of its weight and i win haha
I don't know how many times I have been up and down that hill, but that's a completely different perspective I've never seen before - well done Dan.

WOW, this was a Super Impressive Video. I haven’t seen (or heard) something this great in a Long Time. Thanks for sharing it!

Really enjoyed it. The hilly background added flavour.

This is train stimulator game, watch carefully if you quick and smart, Indian
Looks excelent at 2x speed, with the music creating this new "Wild West, ridding on the horse next to the steam train" mood! Great job!
Excellent stuff. Luck looks kindly on those who prepare. Love your work.
Beautiful video!! I've never seen such a lengthy train before..
This Video gives me chills
The Up train is coming from Mojave and the BNSF one from Barstow. This appears to be close to the top and they are both going downhill.
Awsome video dan you always pick the right music to go with your videos I'm a die hard railfan And I also love synthisizers 2 of my favorite hobbys.

Vegas would be eastbound but would entail climbing the pass (going opposite the descending BNSF).
Terrific clips 👌
Awesome drone footage and video.

From Brazil wachting you
Hello, good night, would you have this video without the musical background, only with the sound of locomotives and wagons?
No because drones do not have the capability to capture audio.
Great show. Thanks
does bnsf have a slow order? at the end?
Or a mechanical glitch?
