This is my second OTC bow hunt in North Idaho.... This year the terrain is unforgivable period..... my buddy called in a 5x5 raghorn to 70yds.... I wasn't comfortable with anything outside of 40yds. We were at a stalemate and then he winded us after a bugle fest of 10 mins. We just couldn't close in on 30yds due to the terrain but it's one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. Next year we bringing meat home.

The amount of effort to bow hunt I never realized how hard and long it takes to just have a confidence to go out and try getting a elk
People who don't hunt have no clue the effort and time and money invested and loss from work Ive been trying to but in at least 11/2 hours a day and more on weekends
Congrats on that beautiful elk and all the hard work pays off and hopefully that I achieve that one day
Archery elk hunting comes with the state of mind to let go of everything in life and shut your mind off and "Go" having a loved one to hunt with is more then anyone can ask for in the elk woods .That's were us elk hunters hold are Freedom.stay safe and great job on the videos and not giving up

I have spent timeless hours hiking and calling practicing and scouting. I’ve missed enough big bulls and even small bulls to make someone give up. But I am so addicted to elk hunting it’s disgusting. I can’t wait for September!! In college I spent 31 days in the woods chasing bulls haha so this year I hope all the years finally pay off. I am a deer murdering mofo though I’ll tell you what
