- Hunting is never easy. One thing that we have learned on the mountain is that the hunting circumstances can change in an instant. Whether it’s the animal, the elements, or human error, we have to be prepared to quickly adapt. Our typical style is being vocal, being aggressive, and putting on serious miles. After some close calls but no harvest, we changed things up. By adapting to the plays the elk gave us, we were able to harvest an elk using a different approach. The film Adaptation is our September story that shows “a season of changing tactics”.

No we didn't draw out this year... treed a few bears but nothing worth taking. I will be doing some predator control on one of the nicest ranches around here so I'm looking forward to that

Poor elk
Great Job on the film making and getting such a terrific shot on a nice bull...while filming too! Got me fired up for the upcoming season and went out and shot about 50 practice shots from my New Custom Recurve. Hopefully I can keep that up everyday between here and the Oregon Bow Season so I can feel the confidence to match the success. Thanks for the Inspiration.
