Normally, I’d be against sharing someone’s nudes, but Kyle kept sending the pics even after he knew she was sharing them; he didn’t care if they were shared. And, typically, when we get pissed about sharing nudes, it’s when the nudes are stolen or shared when in a relationship. Kyle was exposing himself to her all the time. If he did this on the street, he’d likely be fined for it. He was sexually harassing her, and everything she did to resolve it failed. His family deserved to see what she went through since they encouraged his behavior. He’s vile and the type of “man” women are afraid of angering because he doesn’t take no for an answer. His family should have stepped in and done something once they knew, but they’re just as vile. I hope that OP went to the police after this crap.
Right?? I’m kind of pissed at rslash for giving her an asshole rating at all. If you don’t want your nudes shared, dont send them to people without permission.
I don't think OP is the a-hole at all! OP tried literally everything to get this creep to stop and he wouldn't. OP was even getting mocked and teased by her own family! In that case, blasting Kyle's unwanted nudes to everyone in the family who mocked her and didn't take her seriously was about the only thing left that she COULD do, short of going to the cops. And it didn't seem to bother him much, since Kyle kept sending them even after OP started sharing them. Kyle was practically stalking her. Although I hope OP also got at least a restraining order against Kyle. I think sending unwanted nudes to someone is enough grounds for the unwilling recipient to send them out again to anyone else. After all, the person sending them thinks it's completely fine to send their nudes to someone who they know doesn't want them. What's the difference with making them public? And it would be just the same if the OP was a man, being harassed and getting unwanted nudes from a woman after repeatedly telling her to stop. OP is not the AH. It seems to me she was just providing proof to the relatives who laughed off Kyle's sexual harassment that he was indeed harassing her, and it was NOT cute or funny. Maybe she would be opening herself up to some criminal action if she had posted them to the internet at large, but she only posted them in the family group chat. They can always blur out the person's face to prevent them from being identified. I think it would be difficult to recognize someone by just their dick pics unless their face was in the pic, or maybe a tattoo/birthmark or something.
exactly. and rslash kept saying "publishing someone's nudes" when she was just sharing them with family. since he wanted fam to have them so bad, ya know?
Right? Like, I'm not getting the "privacy" argument....these weren't sent as part of a relationship with an expectation of privacy. Dude is literally shotgunning this girl with nudes that she didn't want, ask for, or encourage. Clearly people not seeing his junk is not a priority for him.
I think morally she’s absolutely right, but legally she might have needed to be more careful. The circumstances might make a difference, but distributing nudes of someone without explicit permission starts to be dicey
had something like this (not exactly) happen in my friend-circle, the memes never stopped XD altho at leat the tip of his "equipment was usually edited out or covered or switched with his face.
the way i see it, unsolicited nudes are fair game, particularly if they keep sending after you tell them to stop. It's probably considered sexual assault.
Yup. Not only that, if OP's family thinks it's "Cute" and "Funny" to have your cousin send you his nudes, why isn't it "cute" and "funny" for them to see them, too? C'mon, Auntie, you were laughing at me seeing them! Why aren't you laughing now?
Exactly! Imagine some stranger stalks and flashes you - no one would argue that's ok or 'not a big deal' or 'it's cute he's got a crush on you', everyone would agree self-defence would be ok, even involving the police. But somehow, people make excuses, when that creep is their family member.
Was thinking the same thing. Clear sexual harassment and seeing as he keeps making new accounts when she blocks him, it's also stalking. Time to call the cops.
Jealous fiancé: you forgot two red flags: 1. She doesn't know what was wrong with her behavior 2. She sabotaged Ops reputation in the office too and didn't apologize for it despite it directly affecting the person she is supposed to love the most
Delusional beasts like the jealous fiance tend to have an inherent inability to see civilized human reasoning, and they can't comprehend the concept of being wrong or in the wrong.
Amy is a dang adult! She's so terribly insecure that she wants him to leave tally for no reason other than "she's a pretty girl". He needs to leave her.
Girl's family: "Haha, you're receiving Kyle's unwanted nudes that you never asked for? How cute! You would make a cute couple!" Also girl's family: *"Ew! Gross! I didn't want to receive Kyle's nudes! I didn't ask for this! This is an invasion of privacy!"*
Typical self centred hypocrisy. They want it to be a joke and laugh about it, so they can’t take OP seriously because that would mean admitting it’s not funny. I seriously don’t k ow what’s going through these peoples heads. If a random stranger did that they’d be horrified, so why does someone who’s supposed to be family get a pass for being a creep?
And then she said that she doesn't see the problem. Like, what? You lied to OP and ruined that girls job, and don't see the problem, think that is fine??
Linda has probably told that lie so many times that “speaking Swedish” is now part of what makes her special. If it got out that she doesn’t speak the language, she’d have to admit she’d lied… a lot. So, she does the completely mature and reasonable thing and turns the story from how she’s lied so often for so many years to “how dare you embarrass me for believing me when I say I can speak Swedish and try and welcome me and get to know me through our shared heritage, you monster!”
I’d give Amy a 4.8/5 a**hole score for her complete lack of remorse. Her casual and nonchalant response to knowing her actions ruined a person’s reputation so bad that it uprooted their life is actually terrifying. This goes a step beyond just insecurities, she hurt a random person due to a scenario she made up in head.
red flags red flags. Insecurities can happen in everyone and mostly when the other sex is involved (straight couple talking) but this is no excuse to be a terrible human being
The first one is actually the kinder route, considering the alternative. The family clearly didn’t see the hypocrisy of teasing her and then saying “ew, I didn’t want to see that.” If op got desperate enough and wanted to, she could’ve made this a criminal issue for him. The family would’ve learned anyway (if perhaps not seen it) when he was charged with indecent exposure and sent to jail. She would’ve been in her right to do so, but instead it looks like she tried to keep it within her family. Considering that, should be 0/5
"Publishing somebody's nudes without their permission is really awful" You know what else is awful? Exposing yourself to somebody who has repeatedly told you to stop. If the cousin had tried to rape OP, and she kicked him in the balls, would you be scolding her that, "it's never ok to hit a guy in the balls"?! It's not revenge porn if you were sent the photos against your will in the first place
Unsolicited nudes aren’t the same. No one should feel guilty showing someone’s loved ones unsolicited nudes. The violation of sending it waves any right to privacy.
YES! I mean, for heaven's sake, that woman got SOMEONE ELSE TO QUIT THEIR JOB due to LIES! How dare she? I would drop her so fast she'd get whiplash. I mean, come on! You caused someone to potentially be out of a job if she can't get a new job. Tally is being harassed while she did nothing but look beautiful! HOW? HOW IS THAT MAN NOT FIRED AND HOW IS HE EVEN CONSIDERING STILL MARRYING HER? Sorry about that, but really...
“It’s not a problem because I’ve driven your friend out of your life, so now I’m the o oy one left” The psycho probably viewed it as a choice between the two. Probably never occurred to her that OP didn’t HAVE to side with her if she was the only one left
That last story was hilarious Nick: "I want an open relationship!" Sophii: "No." Nick: "I want an open relationship!" Sophii: "No." Nick: "I want an open relationship!" Sophii: "No." Nick: "I want an open relationship or we're not getting married!" Sophii: "Fine. I'm going to go sleep with that male model then." Nick: *Surprised Pikachu face* Bro, what the fuck did you expect!? LOL
I read this to the rhythm of when in Spongebob, there was that episode where Squidward keeps asking the Magic Conch if he can have something to eat. Really fitting.
I would not be surprised if she was taking this time to look for someone else as Nick has been deploying red flags like they are confetti... but first she has to assert petty dominance by showing she can do so much better than him. Good for her.
OP needs to call off the wedding with Amy. If she's willing to ruin his relstionship with a female friend, who's to say she's not gonna make him cut off contact with his mother or something.
Amy doesn't trust OP, and is happy the destroy his friendships and lie about it. I would be immediately done. She has one bad day, her make up is wrong or a dress doesn't look perfect and she'll probably fixate on another friend or colleague of OP's to embarrass to make herself feel better. People would stop hanging out with OP because his fiancee/wife is a jealous nutball or she'll pull that crap with OP's supervisor, manager or boss killing his career.
If anything, he was just being social and trying to connect with someone on a personal level via a shared aspect of their lives. When I meet someone new I try to engage them and talk about their interests to get to k ow them better, it’s not like quizzing or testing them. It’s just being polite and social
i feel for him, honestly if i knew him i’d let him vent in his native tongue so he had an outlet…i don’t think it’ll help as much as talking conversationally but at least he’d speak it regularly
It does sound a bit like revenge porn. I think it would have been better had she censored them. Imagine a guy getting unwanted photos of his cousin's boobs, so he started forwarding those pictures to everyone.
I’m Swedish and it was hilarious listening to that part. You sounded like my aussie lecturer, but he’s lived in Sweden for 20+ years so you definitely need more time haha. Not bad though
I remember saying “Hello my friend!” To a guy who spoke German when I was 12 and our missionary from a German speaking country came to our church. And when he asked “Oh, you speak German?” In German, I was like- “Sorry, that’s really the only think I know in German-“ Y’know, cuz I was 12, and embarrassed- but I was in no way mad at him! He just seemed surprised and happy that someone else spoke German! We still had a lovely conversation in English after that, and he taught me some German words.
I don’t think first op deserves any score. If you send unsolicited pics then why would anyone ask you if they can share them later. You didn’t ask them
Publishing nudes without their permission comes under revenge porn laws and can carry a criminal sentence, at least in the UK. So depending on the country, its a good way of getting on the register.
@@BambiTheFable In my country sending dick picks with intent when the receiver has asked multiple times to stop is one way to get your brain sued out or be a prison. While in my country i have no idea about revenge porn laws, but i have heard people suing others for sharing their private selfies (no idea if they won tho). I don't get how sending dick picks isn't illegal in more countries.
I wouldn't have given her a score at all....but would have given advice. She should not have sent the pics to family members. She SHOULD have contacted the authorities about it. Creating new accounts to contact her, unwanted sexual innuendos and actual pictures??? That has stalking and sexual harassment written all over it. Plus, hitting on a family member (I don't care if they are not "blood" relation) is just one of those taboos (at least in the USA) that you do not cross. No, this does NOT stay "within the family". You get the authorities involved.
@@goldenfish5390 it is illegal here to send unsolicited nudes on top of constant harassment, so the guy should recieve legal action. I think her response is reasonable, just not justifiable within the context of the law. She would be putting herself at risk of being registered on the sex offender list.
That is true I speak a lot of languages and I never gloat about it and in my opinion gloating about knowing a language you clearly don't know is stupid
I only ever bring up the fact that I'm bilingual if it's relevant, I don't just go 'oh and I speak both Dutch and English, that's so cool right?' in the middle of a conversation on a completely different topic
Exactly. What he really wanted was an excuse to sleep around without being called a cheater, all while his partner stays faithful out of principal. Clear double standard of a guy thinking he could live out a fantasy on his terms with no social stigma and no benefit for his wife. Apart from the hypocrisy, pretty disgusting emotional blackmail saying it was a prerequisite to marriage.
@@vexxama yea it was really gross of him to pressure her that way but I’m glad she saw other guys too instead of just sitting there while her bf got with other girls. I see people do that kinda shit all the time they get mad when their partners go sleep with other people when they’re the one who asked for it in the first place.
@@BubbleBunnyy totally, they say open marriage because they know saying “I want it to be just me that sleeps with other people” would make them sound like an asshole. Happened to one of my friends. Her bf wanted one, she slept with someone after he did, he got jealous and petty saying how could she do that to him and acted like she’d been cheating. Actually having an open marriage is one thing, but there’s way too many manipulators out there trying to use it as a way to get what they want while expecting g their partner to be only 100% with them. I suppose the silver lining is that the OP and Sophie have seen the kind of person he is and don’t just have this guy being more subtle with his manipulative behaviour
Oddly enough, this reminds me of an episode of Cheers. Sam and Diane are engaged and Diane learns that the night before the wedding is considered Sams priveledge of having one last fling, so she says that she deserves the same right.
Agreed. He should announce to all the coworkers "If you're harassing Tally due to my fiancee's insecurities, consider yourself uninvited. If you show up, you will be violently thrown out. This assumes that there will be a wedding. So in other words, shut your damn mouth and quit harassing an innocent person you morons."
2:27 if OP asked for the nudes it would be rude to share them. but when kyle just hands out his nudes to people on the internet without them asking, they can ofcourse share it. kyle should have thought about not giving his nudes to a stranger, thats just stupidly done by kyle. edit: came up with an easier way so say my point; «if you dont want ur nudes shared, then dont send people ur nudes»
Also Op family basically said it was ok for him to send it even if she didn’t asked nor wanted them so it must be for her to send it to family members even if they didn’t asked nor wanted them
In another r/amitheasshole rslash video a racist lady mistakes a black person for one of those people who drive cars back and throws their keys at them. He defended OP, who threw them in a smoothie, then in the dumpster, saying that if she didn't want her keys gone then she should've listened to OP when they tried to explain that they weren't hired to do that/were working there and that she shouldn't have given her keys to a stranger in the first place. I agree with this reasoning, and i,, don't really know what the difference is between these situations aside from the fact that the cousin's opinion on race doesn't matter rn, that they mightve known each other a bit more (which makes it grosser) and what he's trying to force on OP. He got what was coming to him the same way racist lady did
But people don't wsnt to see them. I don't wanna random dick out of knowhere; however, the family set themselves up for it by continually dismissing her harassment.
Potentially unpopular opinion, but the fiancee was the bad guy even before what she did at the office. If you can't respect your partner's friendships, you shouldn't be with them. Friendships aren't just some secondary aspect of a person's life that can be pushed aside once they're in a relationship, and the idea that can't or shouldn't be friends with someone of the opposite gender is absurd. Sabotaging your partner's friendships is, at best, a jerk move, and at worst a sign of abuse. If you're threatened by your partner's close friendships with people of the gender(s) they could potentially be attracted to, then either (1) you're projecting your own insecurities, which you need to get in check, or (2) they're genuinely being flirtatious/inappropriate with their friends, in which case the problem is that they're the kind of person who's probably going to cheat on you, which will happen whether or not they have close friends of the opposite gender.
Not unpopular at all, not to me at least! Agree with you 100%. If you can't handle your partner's friendships, be they with people of the same or opposite gender, then it says more about you as a person than it does about your partner. Trust goes both ways, and if you don't trust your partner completely - at least when it comes down to the major aspects of one's life - then why even bother having a relationship? If them having a friendship with someone threatens /you/, sheesh! Get the hell away from me, (wo)man!| So, two thumbs up from me, Brain Coral Void!
I disagree. Everyone has their own insecurities, and deserves to be happy at their wedding. She didn't feel comfortable around the friend, and asked OP if it would be okay if they didn't invite her. If she's willing to do that, and honestly explain to the friend why they weren't invited, then I don't see it as a problem. "I know you're good friends with my fiance, but I just have this insecurity. I don't hate you, and this isn't me trying to drive a wedge between you and my fiance, I just don't want you at my wedding. I hope you can understand." Maybe they could even work out a story with the friend to help them avoid social backlash, "Oh, I wanted to go, but I was busy with family that week." And the best part is, if they agreed to that, it might help alleviate those insecurities in the future, and maybe, ironically, help them move past that insecurity. Obviously it stopped being okay the second she decided to publicly humiliate the friend, and started lying to OP and all that other hot garbage, but the underlying request could've been fine, imo. I think it's also okay if someone takes the opposite stance as well. If the fiance had asked OP, and OP decided that he needed to have the friend attend, I think that's still a NAH ruling. They'd have to work out between themselves how to solve that situation, ofc, but it's not wrong either way. When you marry someone, you don't inherit their friends. It's perfectly okay for a guy/girl to have friends that their spouse finds intolerable for one reason or another, but that's a two way street.
Omg, poor Tally. She's basically being discriminated against because she's pretty and all pretty women are evil temptress, is that the narrative she's peddling? Then she has a freaking boyfriend like wtf?
OP needs to hurry up and talk to HR about this, he needs to explain what happened and IMMEDIATELY break up with Amy, and then show them a restraining order against Amy so she can't come near him or his workplace again. He needs to try and limit the damage if he can, it might help save his job (or it might still not be enough, what Amy did was pretty extreme). I wonder if OP got fired for Amy's stunt. I also have to wonder about OP himself, since he's the one who chose Amy and I have trouble believing that she would just suddenly act out like this without warning. This kind of thing doesn't just start overnight. OP's comment about "it's not a problem anymore, since Tally no longer works there" is really rubbing me the wrong way too and makes him seem like a jerk- like once Tally was gone (after being humiliated and forced out of her job) his life could go back to 'normal' without even much sympathy for someone he had considered a friend. Honestly, it makes me a little suspicious that OP may have deliberately ignored a lot of Amy's bad behavior in the past leading up to this. OP, it IS still your problem because you can still get fired/sued for sexual harassment, you will be held responsible for Amy's behavior since she's not an employee of the company.
I’m sorry Rslah for your first story I have to disagree sending unwanted nudes is sexual harassment. Especially after asking numerous times to stop. You’re going to blame the victim for trying to do the right thing and still getting harassed for it? Then decides enough is enough after she got pushed so far to do that?
Technically she also sexually harrassed her family then, by sending them unwanted nudes as well, didn’t she? I think I agree with you on this one but it seems like there’s enough details about frequency, timeline, if he kept sending them after she started doing this, if it was all at once or in response to each time he sent them, if she actually told all of them about the nudes or just tried to mention the unwanted flirting, etc etc that was left inferred or not explicitly clarified in the story to say for certain. Either way that whole family sucks and seems like an appropriate time to go No Contact with all of them who knew the full story and didn’t seem to care to me. Anyway I think my biggest hang up is that what she is being blamed for isn’t being the victim, it’s sharing his pornography without his explicit consent, which is a hella slippery slope to say “oh it’s totally okay to send unsolicited to others when you don’t want the nudes.” because of stuff like revenge porn.
I have to disagree with the first one. Yes, sending people's nudes without permission is bad but sending unsolicited dick pics to women is sexual harassment and you forfeit any right to privacy at that point.
I agree with this completely! I’d also like to say that the reverse is also true for men receiving unsolicited pics though. Edit: why are people trying to fight me on this - I’m just saying that it can also happen to men. This is coming from a girl if any of you wanna call me insensitive or sexist for this, now I see why men don’t talk about it. I didn’t even invalidate anybody and for some reason people are coming at me, chill.
I took it as, "At the moment, when a mother is far along their pregnancy, the most important thing is giving birth in comfort with those who will make it easier for them and love them. Not the cheating father of her baby." Hopefully that helps?
Yeah. Especially if his presence costs her comfort. If more people were allowed in the room MAYBE but that hard limit means that she cannot exchange someone who can soothe her for someone who will stress her. He is the petty one here getting mad like that.
Fr. That's like if your partners cat scratches you and instead of discussing what to do about the cat you say, "Oh it's not a problem anymore, I killed him."
The fiancé story: The fiancé almost sounds like a “nice girl” or a crazy obsessed wife. Best idea for Op, cancel the wedding and never contact her again. Another idea: Tell the mother and friends about the whole story. If they still agree with your fiancé, just ditch the fiancé. If they don’t agree with the fiancé, well, I don’t know. Any idea: ditch the wedding and the fiancé. The fiancé sounds like an obsessive girlfriend.
I feel so bad for Tally as well, now she’s being harassed by her coworkers for no reason other than she’s pretty? Tally doesn’t deserve any of this, Amy is crazy, the red flags here are insane
Fire the Fiancé, break up with that sorry SON and report the problems to HR and the owners on Fiancé and the people who harassed and shunned Tally! Then cut out the Fiancé AND the family who sides with Fiancé! OP, shine up your spine and DUMP this toxic jealous B-Word!
About Amy and OP: I would say that unless OP tries to make this right, he will get a 1/5 score, while it isn't his responsibility to set things right, it should be amy's, it's very obvious that she won't, so OP should set the record straight and out Amy for what she's done so that Tally can have some normality back after this incident and show that she was a victim in this, not a cheater or anything like that
Imagine that, a woman wants someone who she is comfortable with during childbirth with the limited space during a pandemic, as opposed to the cheat douche? Who’d have thought?
Devils advocate, Its his kid too. All of those things that are wonderful about childbirth that father experiences too. Starting off on this foot is going to lead to an awful custody situation and resentment towards the kid bc mom wants to be petty. Sure yall dont get along anymore, it still his child.
@@TheAirCon while I agree it’s his child, she does have a say as to who will be in the delivery room, father or not. It’s a very delicate procedure for her and she needs to be comfortable and not stressed. I’m pretty sure being in the same room with her ex (who also agrees that they’re not friends) would not be good for her or the baby.
@@TheDaneena21 i understand that, but one would hope 2 adults could put that aside and appreciate what they have created together. it is indeed special for both of them, but now, that father could hold more resentment towards the child. Just sad all the way around.
@@TheAirCon he wasn’t loyal to her. He clearly didn’t care about her when they were together, so how much do you think he’d actually contribute to that kid? The answer: He wouldn’t.
Rslash, it's ok. Giving birth is a big deal. The process is transformative and terrifying and getting through it alive and unharmed is a huge achievement in any mother's life. It doesn't take anything from women who don't have kids, because they still have achievements. Also it doesn't take anything from mothers, because we are more than our role as mum. 💖
We need a playlist of all the times rSlash has spoken different languages, that Swedish was awesome. Absolutely great, no idea if it was accurate, I just liked the way it sounded. XD
@@ericacarlsson7962 The funniest part to me is I've heard both languages and my mom even knew German. To me Rslash sounded like he was speaking Simlish (the language the Sims speak in game). 😂🤣
Hold up. OP gets his unsolicited nudes, which the family brushes off as harmless and cute. But when she sends them the pictures (plus texts) that's uncalled for? The hypocrisy. She tried everything else and no one cared. NTA.
I'm Swedish and I can honestly say that I have never laughed this hard at any of your videos prior to this. It was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for making my day a little bit better!
That Swedish was golden! Like a mixture of someone drunk and also living in a place and a situation where they seldom actually get to speak or hear anyone speaking
with the jealous fiance story, I'd say you missed a red flag personally I would count handing out wedding invitations without the other person's knowledge is a red flag, especially if they don't even know if they have the invitations yet
Last story: I'm absolutely convinced open relationships can be something great that both sides enjoy. BUT: 1) It has to be something both sides really agree on. You can ask if the other person is OK with it, but no means no. It's nothing that can be demanded. 2) Same rules for both sides. That's crucial in an open relationship. 3) An open relationship should be based on general interest in seeing other people. If you have one specific candidate in mind, it will only lead to conflict and tears. Nick violated all those three rules. And OP is absolutely justified to call him out on his hypocrisy.
Very well put. All three of these are equally important when you want to have an open relationship. If one of the people involved says no to any of these, DO NOT DO IT.
@@akrabbim Because that's not something people usually talk about, but here you go: I personally am only available for open relationships, I communicate that early into dating, before it gets serious. If people don't want that, I'm fine with it, but that also means there won't be a relationship. I prefer to keep the same handful of partners, though sometimes dating someone new or casting someone as a surprise for my girlfriend is fun. I'm also friends with couples who are in open relationships/marriages, and the added level of trust between the parties is something really nice. It also gives more security health-wise, than when you are sleeping with a new girl each week. And since everyone is open about who they sleep with, jealousy is not really a thing. Plus you can easily try out new things your domestic partner might not be up for. Overall, the win is a closer relationship and more trust, I would say. An added bonus is, when you can benefit from compersion (like I do luckily, it's impossible to make me jealous).
First story, OP definitely NTA, sure if it was after one or maybe two times and then the guys stopped, yeah that'd maybe count cause the guy did stop, but in this case he *didnt*. OP presumably had a new pic for each time her family made fun or thought it was cute, and the fact that OP added that she blocked *multiple* accounts?? Plus, sending them to his family isn't exactly making them public, its just showing those who thought they could get away with teasing them what kind of person that guy really is. Like would sending a guys nudes to his mom also be considered sending them publicly? No. So why is it different if she's sending them to the whole family at once? If the other cousins then made the nudes public, sure, thats not good, but as far as the story tells, its all in a private family group chat. OP is absolutely 100% NTA. Kinda disappointed here Rslash, OP was being harassed, and exhausted all other options, no butthole score nessisary.
You're wrong on the first story, but I get where you're coming from. Yeah sharing nudes even if it's from a creep unsolicited isn't a good look, but the distant cousin was asked by OP to stop numerous times and OP exhausted all other reasonable options to deal with the harassment. The fact that the relatives encouraged the sexual harassment from the distant cousin while essentially victim shaming OP is disgusting. OP only shared the nudes with the relatives that belittled OP for trying to deal with the situation rationally. OP is totally NTA 0/5 Buttholes, I agree with the relatives getting 2.5/5 Buttholes for encouraging the harassment which led to OP's actions, and I'm right there with you for the 4/5 Buttholes for the distant cousin(That dude is seriously messed up).
Right! She had to RECEIVE the nudes against HER wishes. I don't think sharing her experience with that creep to the people who kept encouraging the creep is wrong. He forfeited his right to that privacy by forcing his nudes on her.
I see where your coming from but it’s worth mentioning that OP’s cousins made memes out of and edits on the original nudes sent which implies OP sent those nudes to what she considers the “younger generations” (keeping in mind OP is only 19) and that is really weird creepy and uncalled for imo
Tea tea i fully agree with you Unfortunately we live in a sexist world and it didn't matter what tactics you use she was going to be called an a****** and her family was never going to protect her which is disgusting... The thing is if she went to the cops and they wouldn't get angry with her for reporting family rather than at him for being a predator... so it wouldn't surprise me if she went with this method because maybe she was hoping hey you don't like having dick pics from him well neither do I now you know how I feel so please protect me And instead they were assholes to her and still didn't protect her and honestly I hope she gets the courage and just takes it to the cops for her safety and I hope the cop keep her save Also just a side note and completely off the topic but I love your name tea tea ..... I love it tea so much and I have all kinds of tea like rose tea chamomile tea hibiscus tea I mean I really love tea LOL so I really like your name and I find it very cute .... I know it's completely off the topic but I wanted to at least give the compliment it's a good name 😊💖☕
I’m sorry, but you can’t lie about saying/doing something & then have the nerve to blame others for “Embarrassing” you. Linda is clearly too embarrassed to admit her mistake & feels the need to shift the blame on OP.
Story 1; NTA, at all, period. He was sexually harassing her even after she told him to stop. his pics were fair game and its not like she published them for everyone to see. She sent them to family which is far less than I would have done. The fact that her family thought it was 'cute' is disgusting and honestly deserves a 5/5 AH along with the cousin.
Well OP mentions she’s 19 and also says that the younger generations (implying quite a bit younger not just a little younger) where sending memes and edited versions of the original nude which is really weird, uncalled for, and creepy from OP and for that alone OP deserves some type of AH score imo
@@Koluke That’s not my point I could care less about the memes it’s the fact that for OP’s cousins to get the nudes to make memes out of OP must of sent the nudes to her (I assume a lot younger cousins since OP uses the word Generations instead of Years when referring to how much younger they are) and that kind of behavior sets off really creepy and weird vibes
@@ThatOddLlama123 You realize that a generation can be a year or two younger than yourself right? We might think of a generation between parent and child but it could actually be MULTIPLE generations since a generation is considered a certain amount of years, not where you fall in a family line. My sister, who is only 10 years older than me is a different generation than I am. She is Gen X (Those born between 1965-1980) and I'm a Millennial (1981-1996). And it sounds like she only sent the nudes to the adults, not the kids. What Kyle did was creepy, not the OP, she was trying to make her family see that his behavior was NOT ok especially after she repeatedly told him no. Its not her fault that the younger cousins got a hold of the pics.
Open relationship guy deserves more than a 1.5 imo, because even without his reaction to her sleeping with someone else, he basically coerced her into agreeing to an open relationship in the first place. That's automatically at least a 2 on its own, so I'd give him at least a 3.5 butthole rating.
@@deithlan She only agreed to an open relationship because he said he would not propose to her otherwise, which means she did not actually want to be in an open relationship, and he knew she'd only agree to it if he coerced her. I don't see what you're missing here?

Don’t worry Rslash, as a childfree woman, I completely understood what you meant when you said that giving birth is a major event for a woman. It objectively is.
With the first story. OP is 100% nta. She was harassed and recieved unsolicited pics from a family member! (Distant or not) her entire family treated it as a joke and encouraged him. At that point she is fully in her right so share what he is sending, if they think its fine he can do that without consent they clearly they'll be happy to get them aswell. She had no other option to get him to stpp
This 100%, the family is enabling the creepy cousin and showing him that it's okay to cross Op's boundaries just because it's "cute", "funny", and because "he has a crush on you". So...I guess it'll be cute and funny when the creepy cousin starts crossing more boundaries outside of social media platforms, cause now the enabling family has just made it okay for him to sexually assult and r@pe OP
That one with the Amy girl pissed me off. The family going after him, such bs. Even I have insecurities but my boyfriend and I work together on each of ours. Also I fully believe you should be honest with friends and not blindly support them with their bs.

When asking for an open relationship the way the guy did, he should have expected the new rule to not just apply to him as there were no restrictions (like being one-sided). Thus, she had every right to take advantage of that rule, too. The guy deserved what he got after that.
Bad take on the first story rslash. 0/5 buttholes for the victim of literal sexual assault. She can do whatever she wants with pictures she was ASSAULTED with
Geez, Rslash. You really had to give that poor girl an asshole score for showing her family proof of the harassment she received from what they seem to be treating as a golden child? She didn't post the nudes to social media, she simply showed them off in the family group chat as proof of him being a huge creep. What she did was totally justified because the relatives will clearly try to defend this creep. Imagine if him in his drunken state at the family reunion tried to force himself on OP and the relatives tried to play it off. I'm giving you 3 out of 5 assholes for this bad call and for trashing a victim defending herself in front of almost 2 million subscribers.
Clearly trying to defend? Would they defend a censured nude for example? I feel like she hadn't even tried to tell the family about sexting and nudes until this outburst, when she went full on. Still incomperable to what the guy did tho.
@@balazstoth2164 did you listen to the story? She clearly tried to tell people but they kept poking fun at her. Fucking seriously. What the guy was doing was sexual harassment and the family just laughed it off. None of them care what he's doing until it's being done to them. That's hypocrisy, and it's encouraging the guy to sexually harass someone. They deserve a dose, and OP deserves to be left alone.

No. No. You do not “have” to give her 1/5. No. She gets zero. ZERO. Her response was great. I mean women are told “if u didn’t want ur pics out there, u shouldn’t have sent them!” all the time. Well guess what? He FORCED his nudity onto this girl who did everything else to get him to stop AND was teased by her own family for being the recipient of sexual harassment. Her response was flawless. Solid. Fucking. Zero.
I don’t agree with the 1st one. OP‘s not TA. Sending dick picks is actually considered sexual harassment. She would’ve had EVERY RIGHT to sue that jerk! Wonder how the family would’ve liked that?
Exactly!! If he didn't want people to see it, he should have kept it to himself or get the consent of the person he was to send it to (which we know she wasn't going to give). The man basically sexually harassed her and she was just fighting back.
I agree, this wasn't someone trying to punish an ex or something. This was a pervert that was sexually harassing her. He deserved it. And so did that miserable excuse of family.
The problem with this is that you’re only really ok with it due to him sexually harassing her. If this was an ex sending nudes to another private person you probably wouldn’t say it’s ok. Basically I think for R/slash it’s a case of two wrongs don’t make a right.
@@mrsplashman8308 Yes, we're all only ok with it because of the specific situation. That's not a problem, and bringing up a different and irrelevant situation isn't an argument or proper response.

Rslash you should post a video to appologise to the first OP, and give her BH score back to zero. She is the victim of sexual harassement, you have no idea of how bad it can get for girls to have that kind of sexual pressure. From a cousin even my god that's disgraceful
I understand what you mean but I do think she should have some kind of super low score(like .2 or .5 if we go by rslash scale) or no score but told it was wrong. I say this because in some places doing what she did can be seen as illegal and she could get in serious trouble for it. (I hope this doesn't come as defending the cousin cause he's terrible. )
Publishing peoples nudes without their permission is very bad and not good, yes BUT sending people nudes that they dont want is not okay either, he and the rest of the family that was fine with others being harassed defiantly deserve it.
WTF Amy!? OP needs to break off the engagement! If Amy would pull off that stunt on Tally, who knows what she'd do to OP? She deserves all the BHs! BTW I like the titles for the chapters. Just a heads up: the last story starts at 14:56, not 16:03 P.S.: Nick and the third OP just don't get it smh
Yes, I would be running from Amy as fast as I could. At the very least, I would postpone the wedding for MC. But I don't think that will even work because the issue is with Amy and not their relationship. As for Nick, he is an idiot and got what he wanted. If I were his girlfriend I would have given him the boot for simply suggesting it. There is a valid and very real reason why open relationships, swinging, swapping, poly relationships, etc don't work in the long term. Unless your plan is to blow the relationship up sooner rather than later lol. As for his girlfriend/fiance/ex/whatever she is, I would have to give her 3 buttholes for sleeping with a guy ON THE 1ST DATE she wasn't planning on seriously dating. Sorry, but girls that sleep on the 1st dates are usually not good marriage material. Perhaps she and Nick deserve one another?
Yeah Amy is majorly toxic she needs to get over herself if she loves op like she says she does she would trust him not try to destroy any female bonds due to being jealous
I think the important thing with the nudes is to include the harassing messages, so people know you're not being petty, you're showing them evidence of the harassment you're receiving at the hand of the person you "would make such a cute couple with!!!!"
I think OP has to break off his engagement and clearly tell it to the coworkers that he has no relationship like that with Tally, and that the only reason his fiancée did it was because she felt insecure about her looks. That you broke off your engagement with her, and Tally definitely isn't the one at fault there. Her behaviour is clearly a clean and cut 5/5 asshole behaviour, what she did can ruin someone's else life just as easily as something as terrible as rape. I'd say she has to go to jail for this for a couple of years, as it's a serious slander.
Forgot to mention it yesterday, but i'm loving the addition of YT's chapters feature. Makes it much easier to go back & find a specific story if i need to.
Nah. OP doesn't deserve a score when she was being harassed with nude photos. She was even blocking him and he'd still get through. The family didn't think it was all that cute when THEY were on the receiving end of those photos. They kept teasing OP and making light of the situation, so OP showed them how it felt to receive those pictures.
I disagree , 1st one RSLASH is wrong .. The family didn't do anything , and she tried what she could expt involving police If she had done that it'll be worse matter cause "family"
As a Finnish I have to love the fact that when people outside of Europe are using Finnish accent, it's Swedish accent 90% of the time. Now when I hear Rslash trying to make Swedish accent, he's doing German accent :'D What does it sound when they are doing German accent? Russian accent?
@@t-chan4640 I think that for Americans all Scandinavian languages sound the same and because we are closer related to German, that's why they mix it in. I'm Swedish and also reacted to it when the German accent came in, but I think he did a great job at the second Swedish line.
@@carolinekonculic I admit that second line went well, even I can hear Swedish in there. If I would have to speak or translate Swedish, it would be the same level as the person in the story :'D some words here and there but that is all. But because Swedish is still second language in Finland, I still hear it time to time. Announcements are Finnish and Swedish, tv have Swedish shows, time to time there's Swedish music so I still hear the accent but if I need to know how well you can understand what rslash said, I rather ask someone who speak it.

My friend did the same thing, if dude isn’t a psycho usually a cop showing up at your house and saying “knock it off” is enough. Then there’s sexually harassment charges. But now she’s printing out pics of his junk? Normally people who are being harassed don’t do that and the cops are gonna take it less seriously if that comes out.
@@Love2Banime no, revenge porn is sending out nudes in general. Especially “with the intention of causing embarrassment or distress” which is what she did

Exactly! Well said!
I would of got a restraining order before posting his nudes. That way if he ever tries to contact me again, he will go to jail.
Haha hey she didn’t want to keep them and he knew that, what else did he want her to do with him, obviously that’s what he meant
I would argue that sending nudes without the receiver’s permission relinquishes their privacy. They wanted it out there, now its out there 🤷🏻♀️
I agree, the family’s response to this too was disgusting. I wouldn’t be surprised if there IS incest somewhere in that family tree.
exactly. and rslash kept saying "publishing someone's nudes" when she was just sharing them with family. since he wanted fam to have them so bad, ya know?
The circumstances might make a difference, but distributing nudes of someone without explicit permission starts to be dicey
yeah, i think its common knowledge that if you send a nude its going to be seen by way more people that originally intended

the way i see it, unsolicited nudes are fair game, particularly if they keep sending after you tell them to stop.

And when he asked “Oh, you speak German?” In German, I was like- “Sorry, that’s really the only think I know in German-“
Y’know, cuz I was 12, and embarrassed- but I was in no way mad at him!

I’m glad that Sophie started seeing other guys too if he wanted an open relationship that bad then he got what he asked for 🤷♀️
Exactly. What he really wanted was an excuse to sleep around without being called a cheater, all while his partner stays faithful out of principal. Clear double standard of a guy thinking he could live out a fantasy on his terms with no social stigma and no benefit for his wife.

@@BubbleBunnyy totally, they say open marriage because they know saying “I want it to be just me that sleeps with other people” would make them sound like an asshole. Happened to one of my friends.

@@gon720 exactly!
Get the hell away from me, (wo)man!|
So, two thumbs up from me, Brain Coral Void!
far from unpopular, likely the most popular take on her..
For the Amy/Tally story, OP better run, not walk to the nearest exit and board the NOOOOOOOOPE train
@@jaymel4691 It wasn't OP who said that. It was Amy who said "Now it's not a problem anymore."
Anyway I think my biggest hang up is that what she is being blamed for isn’t being the victim, it’s sharing his pornography without his explicit consent, which is a hella slippery slope to say “oh it’s totally okay to send unsolicited to others when you don’t want the nudes.” because of stuff like revenge porn.
in some countries even the fact of sending the first one unsolicited is a felony and can totally send him to jail

Last story: I'm absolutely convinced open relationships can be something great that both sides enjoy. BUT:
1) It has to be something both sides really agree on.
Oddly, I hear how open relationships can work just fine all the time, but never hear stories about them actually working.
How true lol @@akrabbim

I don't think op in the first story should get anything. Op tried over and over again to tell their family and this was the only way for them to listen
Isn’t posting someone’s nudes without permission illegal though?
@@richardtaveras3642 not about legality, but about morality: imo if you "give" someone nudes of your body, not only without permission but explicitly against their wishes, they should have the rights to do whatever the f*ck they want with that. Post them online (not only familygroup), rent a billboard, whatever. She told him that she doesn't want them, and he continued. So what? He asked for it just like "Nick" from the last story...
@@richardtaveras3642
Isn't sharing in a private conversation with family inherently NOT posting them though?
Too many fucking idiots saying the exact same wrong thing.
@@Richard_Nickerson spreading nudes AT ALL is spreading them to social media because then you can't control where the nudes go anymore
@@crowwithgreeneyes9054 " not about legality, but about morality"
You do realize that she did the exact thing that he did, right?
She sent nudes to people, and not any people, but to his own family, the people who'd least want to see his nudes.
Do you people use your brains?
I'm giving you 3 out of 5 assholes for this bad call and for trashing a victim defending herself in front of almost 2 million subscribers.
while i do agree with you, Rslash may be thinking of Revenge Pr0n laws, since OP could get in trouble if Kyle ever decided to persue legal action.
And she said that *every time* someone starts doing that now she sends a picture (meaning it continued happening after she send the first nude of him). I'm not saying totally fine but she clearly did try to inform her family.
Fucking seriously. What the guy was doing was sexual harassment and the family just laughed it off. None of them care what he's doing until it's being done to them. That's hypocrisy, and it's encouraging the guy to sexually harass someone. They deserve a dose, and OP deserves to be left alone.
@@nanidafaq7626
Didn't post it publicly. This person literally already specified that.
The family thinks it's cute until it's them receiving it. That's not revenge porn, that's clarifying the problem.
The Swedish caught me so off guard I almost spilled my coffee!!
There's this game that's called Magica where they kinda do a mock impression of swedish and a few other languages. It kinda reminded me about that, so thank you kindly for that trip down memory lane and keep up the practice you'll be fluent in no time.
Cheers and love from Sweden! :)
You speaking Swedish had me dying lol
You sounded like a Swede trying to make fun of danish
He did. 😂😂
Rslash straight up sounds like a Sims when speaking swedish. 😁
that swedish is pronounced so bad im crying
No.
In the first story, Rslash got it wrong. Sharing a picture you own (as it was purposely sent to you) to another private person is not "publishing".
@@mrsplashman8308
Yes, we're all only ok with it because of the specific situation. That's not a problem, and bringing up a different and irrelevant situation isn't an argument or proper response.
@@voutsider190 agreed, as OP stated they even told family members what he was doing, and they all dismissed it or basically encouraged it. So ya, I don't blame OP.
So Sophie’s line of thought was, ‘well this guy is hot and my bf has finally gotten his wish of an open relationship, so I’ll sleep with him why not. Why are you mad? Because I slept with someone else. So you just wanted to bang any girl without consequence, while I keep myself to you. Find someone else to stay.’
Aka, a totally reasonable line of thought
Story for thumbnail: no you are not. HE chose to do it, so HE has to face the consequences.
Rslash you’re a man and you have no idea what women go through. That man is harassing her and she actually deserves 0/5.
Fully agreed.
No excuse for what that dude did.
He got what he deserved..
Actully he deserves to be sued and arrested
You and a couple guys above are the only ones speaking common sense. Sending unwanted nudes is neither cute or sexy it's harassment
Thank you! Rslash sometimes has bad takes, and this one reeks of soft pretentious ignorance, and victim blaming. Ugh...
@@ramenbomberdeluxe4958 I would have given the coworkers a score too, in the jealous fiancée story. They decided to believe Amy without proof and then bully her.
I understand why Rslash thinks that way, but I will have to disagree with him.
I was only allowed one person in the delivery room as well, and brought my husband along, and while I'm happy he was there to see the birth of his child, he was a really horrible support person honestly. He didn't mean to be, but he didn't watch any of the videos I asked him to and really didn't know how to advocate for me or help. He had been working 75+ hours a week in the weeks leading up to the delivery and had a hard time staying awake. I don't blame him, but really wish my mom could have been there for me
We need a compilation of rslash giving terrible opinions on AITA because the first story, OP is not the AH for getting sexually harassed.
If you ever find such a compilation, pleade let me know.
The first story should have second title, "what girl gotta do to avoid sexual harassment"

for the story with Amy: Personally, if i were in OP's shoes, as soon as I heard what happened I'd have gone home and told Amy: "You know those wedding invitations you gave out behind my back? You can consider them null and void. Because there isn't going to BE a wedding." and then, if i was the only one on lease for the home: "now pack your sh** and GTFO of my house AND my life." but, again, that's ME.
(I hope this doesn't come as defending the cousin cause he's terrible. )
He’s a creep. Expose him just like he exposed himself.
Just a heads up: the last story starts at 14:56, not 16:03
P.S.: Nick and the third OP just don't get it smh
Agree so many red flags here
Yes, I would be running from Amy as fast as I could.
To be fair it sounds like OP only sent them to people who already knew what was going on, and enabled the behavior.
How is it cute to continuously be sexually harassed and then by a distant family member on top of it!!?
Im Swedish , so i am going to give you 10/10 really good. Lol 😂

I’m Swedish and ngl, it sounds like you’re trying to speak a mix between Swedish and Dutch with a German accent you see in movies
I'm still not able to take part about how well you can understand it because my Swedish these days is really bad.
I died at him trying to speak Swedish

Sending someone nudes against their wishes is equally as awful. Especially when they’ve blocked and told the sender off multiple times.
love how you added timestamps to the video with interesting titles, rslash! can't wait to listen to this tomorrow :D
You forgot a red flag in the 3rd story. When confronted, she lied and denied instead of owning up to it
Even though she must have known that several of OPs colleagues could verify it. It's not just a lie, it's a stupid lie.
Another one too. After admiting to it, she saw nothing wrong with her actions, in fact she seemed rather dimissive of the terrible thing she did. That "well now it's not a problem anymore because she's quitting" says a lot.
As a Swede i will say that you did a great job at attempting swedish! I laughed realy hard tho, its just so funny when people attempts to speak swedish lol.
As a swede, let me tell you: That. Was. Beautiful. I actually understood almost everything you said!
If the pics are unsolicited I don’t see why to not expose them especially if it’s repeated. It’s harassment at that point, and if you’re okay sending them repeatedly to someone who doesn’t want them why not let the rest of the world see!
It wasn't even the rest of the world, just a private family group chat
@@stormwright8300 lmao. I would've taken my time with it and do some research and send it to everyone anonymously, college, friends, employers potential love interests
Quite a few states have revenge p**n laws in place. So if you get even one unsolicited pic and repost it somewhere as a means to embarrass the sender, you can be charged with the crime.
Receiving someones nudes w/o your permission means it's free game for the internet.
Rslash if someone sends someone nudes knowing they don't want them it, they loose the right of privacy. Plus if you share it with someone it is kinda their business too
I disagree with you on the first story Rslash. What other option did OP have?? She was being harrassed and no one (not even her family) believed her while her creepy cousin continued to send her nudes.
Sue. Revenge porn is a thing and he’d have a case.
@@alexiscarauleanu9744 I don't think it would be that. I think you meant her filing a restraining order. Revenge porn is if there was a contract between them and creepy cuz has pictures of her in nudes.
Walk up to the local police department and say you’re being harassed lol.
Especially “with the intention of causing embarrassment or distress” which is what she did
I have to disagree on that first story, Rslash. She received those pics and messages after telling him they were unwanted. And the people who got mad at her for sending them deserved it for trying to tell her that the harassment was "cute". If it was so cute, why didn’t they want to see it too? And the fake accounts and continued harassment is stalking - have his nasty ass arrested!
Have her arrested too for revenge porn, that'll put her on the register
