Launch’s main problem is shared by most units on female warriors: they just have no meta spot lol. I do think she’s actually pretty solid on a good team but 2021 has had some really OP units
that's kinda a theme with many of these characters and tags a lot of them aren't getting enough support to the teams they're on that already were in need of a really powerful unit

@@SoapyBowl that’s cap, I use him as well and he’s 10 stars and I got to rank #3000 with him. He’s really good and since mono purple is dominant you barely see SSJ4 Gogeta running around, but since mono blue is a thing now you could see more SSJ4 Gogetas so I’ll probably stop using him.

I was sad about Broly. He is my favourite version of Broly and at his release he wasn't terrible, but at least he will always have a place on powerful opponent because of his HP buff lol. Maybe one day if he gets a Zenkai he will have a chance to shine.
The red Kefla was underwhelming considering how cool the art is and even getting her to 12* she is terrible. But both of the shadow dragons I have at 9* and I think both put in a lot of work on my GT team. There are many better greens than the ssj trunks, revival ssb goku hasn't aged well, but was definitely good for a while after his release. Launch and Yamcha might be a lot more viable if they expanded the DB Saga tag. Which I'd love to see!
As a Kefla fan it makes me so sad to see her at #1, but I can't really argue. I'm hoping we see a Zenkai for her or (more likely) the older Green Kefla, but as we know Legends really doesn't care about the Girls tag.
Yellow Brolly should be on the list, I do agree on that, but maybe on the 10th place or 9th, he's not that bad of a unit, he's fine honestly, even in the current meta. The rest I agree with.

You can't say that Kefla is worse than that yellow Broly with a straight face, you're more likely to kill your opponent of old age than with yellow Broly, at least Kefla has some chance of doing something. Broly is legitimately only a z ability
You should do a video where you rank every Zenkai released this year in terms of viability I'd say "do a top and bottom 10" but it'd get redundant after awhile if it was 2 videos
Kefla had an interesting kit that really incentivized being more active in the match which was definitely good however the fact that one whole unique was dedicated to that, while also having a good chance to not really do much made her terrible. These days that unique she has would be maybe half of a modern SP's unique because the devs did realize post anni that regular SP's need more to be able to compete with every other insane unit they've created. I'm actually surprised Green Kid Gohan wasn't on here, he's by far the worst revival unit who actually loses a lot post revival, was never even worth considering on his teams because there were always better options just an all around horribly designed SP which even Nappa could crush with type disadvantage.
Im a f2p player and i never once used red kefla once i get my hands on z7 red gogeta, their differences in dmg is so big To think that people wants to put pur blue vb in here is just sad, he's literally in every blast variant of a god ki team, he tanks pretty well compared to kefla and he replenish his vanish gauge through his ult and a plethora of good equips that makes his blue hits hard, like cmon I still do feel surprised that revival goku is here, ya boi might not be doing good dmg but he does eats rising rush for breakfast and that clap that cheeks blue card......love it

As a rival universe main it pains me that the team is so difficult to run nowadays. I've pretty much gone to running hybrids because just about any RU character dies in one combo or less in this meta. As someone who used red kefla ALOT until recently I totally agree her design was flawed with that 2nd unique. 99% of the time you will gain just enough gauge to still be short and have to still switch out which negates the ability. She can do decent damage but that's about it. Caulifla and Kale can be decent with their green card but it was not smart to have 3 different damage passives they have to wait for. 3 blast cards for 30% buff, 20 timer counts for 20% and their main ability for the other 20% just to do decent damage when so many recent units get way more damage for free. Hopefully, RU will be treated much bettee next year. Definetly needs better sparkings, some LF's and even an ultra unit to be viable today.
I have had success with RU in this meta, and the only reason why is because Caulifla & Kale carry the team so hard. They are remarkably consistent, with a green card on first entry, and first green always draws a blue (sound familiar?), plus a tactical nuke for an ult that gives them a big heal, nullifies endurance (something people often forget since she's rarely seen), and then refills your hand. Having said that, there are drawbacks of course. She's not the most durable unit ever, but not nearly as squishy as some (Pur Hit for instance), and doesn't do great as a last stand unit. She also needs to be at 6 stars min to perform reasonably well, and yea, her team options aren't the greatest (but RU can still slug it out, mark my words!)
@@Morow991 Yeah, don't get me wrong I've even had a couple rare battles where I solo'd mono purple with Kale and Caulifla even (They are at red 6 star for me) but it just shouldn't feel so difficult to do so. You have to completely outplay your opponent especially with double rushes being a common thing in matches now. I just would like the team to get some heavy hitters on par with recent units and while I do think they will get more honestly, the pool of characters is fairly limited so when they do get releases they need to be really good.

I'm a Platinum player (currently level 53), and I cringed when I saw how poorly SSB Revival Goku fares in the meta. Another player used them against my Future team, and Zamasu (Black Assist) completely demolished them. Like, what revival mechanic? What defense? It was gone after ONE combo! And after using their green card, I used Rising Rush and the rest of their team just collapsed on itself. I'm a big fan of Rival Universe since I love their designs. IDEALLY they SHOULD be able to be okay against anyone, but when it comes to actual gameplay, it's clear who is more dominate. I like Future, but if the meta wasn't filled with powerhouses left and right, I'd be happy going back to my original team. I'd have to sacrifice my rank for that though and I'd prefer to play against tougher opponents.
We can hope. We might get a RU unit around Jan/Feb(where they “buff” the girls team cause of Valentines). If it’s a A21 unit they release, then they end up shafting girls, again. Cause they like making her Z Ability dumb and only buff the team by providing, say, 15% blast defence

I don’t exactly understand the Yel Broly backlash~ the scenario of him helping or even soloing, a Mono Purple Team is so slim might as well call it impossible. Coming from a Movie/Powerful Opponent Main with pretty beefy equips, he just does not meet current meta requirements in the least~ he just gets folded horribly
hey goresh i have an op (for me) team : vegito as leader , winter coat goku, ssj blue revival goku, bench namek goku, red goku zenkai f2p, and raditz ( put any other good hp support thing instead of raditz ) I GUARENTEE THEY ARE VERY TANKY but weakness is ofc mono purple and maybe super vegito also great video!
All of those units are kind of great(except RED Trashfla) but their teams are either dead or/and there is better option than them in the same team(Eis Shenron with SSJ3 kid goku, RED Kefla with Bergamon on RU and Zenkai RED Gogeta on fused warriors for example)

I just think it's way more interesting (and fair) to look back and elaborate what they accomplished throughout the entire year.

I actually 100% agree with this list. and yes the only good thing about red kefla is that broken art card.
Kale and Caulfila came in clutch for me this year. I kept using her in my Saiyan team.
I'm a Platinum player (currently level 53), and I cringed when I saw how poorly SSB Revival Goku fares in the meta. Another player used them against my Future team, and Zamasu (Black Assist) completely demolished them. Like, what revival mechanic? What defense? It was gone after ONE combo! And after using their green card, I used Rising Rush and the rest of their team just collapsed on itself.
I'm a big fan of Rival Universe since I love their designs. IDEALLY they SHOULD be able to be okay against anyone, but when it comes to actual gameplay, it's clear who is more dominate. I like Future, but if the meta wasn't filled with powerhouses left and right, I'd be happy going back to my original team. I'd have to sacrifice my rank for that though and I'd prefer to play against tougher opponents.

If it’s a A21 unit they release, then they end up shafting girls, again. Cause they like making her Z Ability dumb and only buff the team by providing, say, 15% blast defence

Another redeeming quality for YEL Broly is he's an HP bench for Powerful Opponent. So at least there's that.
He has a point about Trunks and Mai, I try running them with my future team and they are a complete liability with the utter lack of defence
I use the yellow broly as a bech unit for powerful opponent as his z ability buffs powerful opponent : base max health

I don’t exactly understand the Yel Broly backlash~ the scenario of him helping or even soloing, a Mono Purple Team is so slim might as well call it impossible. Coming from a Movie/Powerful Opponent Main with pretty beefy equips, he just does not meet current meta requirements in the least~ he just gets folded horribly

hey goresh i have an op (for me) team : vegito as leader , winter coat goku, ssj blue revival goku, bench namek goku, red goku zenkai f2p, and raditz ( put any other good hp support thing instead of raditz ) I GUARENTEE THEY ARE VERY TANKY but weakness is ofc mono purple and maybe super vegito also great video!
All of those units are kind of great(except RED Trashfla) but their teams are either dead or/and there is better option than them in the same team(Eis Shenron with SSJ3 kid goku, RED Kefla with Bergamon on RU and Zenkai RED Gogeta on fused warriors for example)

After watching: well, I thought you would rate them again on the impact they had on their initial release and not during the current meta, because it's kinda obvious and easy to say how they perform right now. I just think it's way more interesting (and fair) to look back and elaborate what they accomplished throughout the entire year.
7 out of 10 is pretty good. I was able to get 6. But I am disgusted by your number 10 pick. Blue 18 is decently solid and should be nowhere near this list
Lf ssj4 is way better now with unique and the grn Gohan is really good and 18 is good as well

In my opinion, The grn Super saiyan trunks Is still hella good, i shredded a 7* Ssj4 with my Trunks and he was doing like 1/4th of Gogeta's health in just a strike card

This list I mostly agree with except Kefla being the worst. Green Kid Gohan Piccolo assist is easily the worst unit of 2021.

I thought Broly and Kefla were somewhat decent. But my main issue with Kefla is that she can’t really take a hit while almost being like her GRN counter part, but a tad bit worse.
Red Pikkon is actually useful now he's definitely not the best but he's useable
