Yeah the wheels are not balanced as they come. Sick video Edwin glad you got the sx500 in the videos again. I literally bought one and built it up after seeing your first video with it. 72v E&C for the win!
@@EdwinOlding absolutely bro, 72v E&C with hydro brakes, light bars, led strips, and kenda street tires. I’m running a 12volt battery for lighting and the same pack you have for the motor. It’s an absolute beast and super fun to ride around town on, it’s getting upgraded suspension front and rear soon!
i like your commentary, your bike, and all the videos you upload!!! i also have a razor mx650 frame and i have a bunch of hoverboard batteries on it i have 25v batteries hooked up to 36v batteries to make about 61,2v and i ordered a cheap 80v speed controller that should be coming around any day now to overvolt the stock motor. im confident i can fix the motor if it blows up until i get my electroen co kit. but it rode pretty good before i blew up the stock 36v speed controller lol!! when i looked in the box the capacitors are 50v so 50v is the limit for the stock controllers. if you are interested in my design ill post it once i get it going
Seems like you need some better suspension. On Electric and co’s website they know sell hydraulic front forks that come with a new front wheel, tire, extra bake disc and lever, and a new front fender and number plate. They also sell a rear shock
Got the smaller version, added a extra battery on a switch. Goofy but I end up able to just creep on the extra battery on cruise, or hit the throttle for full 36 volts. Slow acceleration, but pushes 20 mph on flat ground.
@Edwin Olding Hey just stumbled across your video as I've been looking into sur-rons lately and a few others and am having a hard time deciding which to get. Which do you like/use more sur-ron or mod razor? Right now I ride electric 60 mph off road scooters and was about to purchase another when I came across the sur-ron. Also its pretty cool to see someone local to me making the same content I like as I'm also located in the great North Idaho!
I've got a 72v set up to about how many miles you get on a full battery I have the electro and co kit with charger charger is super intimidating lol I was told to charge it on 3 what's your opinion?
Is that just a gps app or your BMS app I've been tempted to link mine but don't wanna mess with my custom tune but not sure if that effects that stuff it's a lot to take in lol I'm a former MX stunt rider and did RC stuff but this stuff is intimidating when your pushing 72v stuff def dangerous
Have the same kit thanks to you! Recently blew the front fork bushings out riding hard in the woods, cant wait to see the for upgrade! Amazon has "spiral lock retaining ring" to help hold the bushings n the tubes, not sure if it'll work but they're in. How many amp hours is your battery?
Is there a video coming with the et time? I had the opportunity to drive it on a small track and i liked the surron on 72v and 16kw way more I'm curious whats your thoughts are about it.
Stock: absolutely not. But if you got some better forks and an extended swing arm. Probably yes. Dropping the pegs would also help a lot. With a will there’s a way.
That is entirely dependent on what battery chemistry he’s using, for lithium ion a 20s 72v pack could safely go as low as 60, and as low as 50 but be recovered via a process afterwards.
i have a 26ah p42a pack coming for mine. i rob shoulda save the money and went with this kit but i got the lse kit cause i wanna smoke my freinds surron

That little bike really rips! Nice work 👍 Thanks for posting Edwin 🙂
It is so much fun!
@6:20. Perfect. I was going to ask for a build/price breakdown. This would be a perfect build for some of the spots I hike.
For real! Coming very soon!
That tunnel shot is so good!
It was mega fun to film!

@@Tater_277 were you able to fit the street tires with the heatsink on the motor?
Can't wait to do this swap onto my mini bikes and ride around with my dad. How do those 100% gloves hold up/stay warm
Awesome video 📸 man 😎🇺🇲
Stay blessed
Put a 12" on the front. Will handle way better than you would realize

You should take a look at the STARK VARG you might be changing your statement about racing bikes. It's the sickest production bike there will ever be!
Hey Edwin, really like your build! Just curious how do you attach your GoPro for the pov shots
Thanks for posting more content!
So...next is KO Motors upgrade? 😁
So does the kit come with a battery percentage reader? Or do you have to buy one

Search for razor bushings on eBay a guy makes and sells them. They are more durable than stock. I just did it on a 650 no more fork wobble.
Dood this is sick! Electric pitbikes should be more of a thing

Hi. I know this video was posted a while ago but I had a question. If I’m 6’1 and still growing would I be able to ride this comfortably or no. Thanks
Stock: absolutely not. But if you got some better forks and an extended swing arm. Probably yes. Dropping the pegs would also help a lot. With a will there’s a way.
You using 30ah batter?
too cool, Edwin. any eBike plans for the fast-approaching frigid season?
Dude I neeeeeed one of these to hunt off of!!!
That would be epic! They are so quite
How do I get a hold of some Grind Hard merch!? Thanks!
How fast do you go with the highest sprocket
Needs a stretched swingarm, and hydraulic forks. Either make them. Or gimmie. Msg. I make the parts , and film them.
You used over 75 percent of your battery. Low voltage cut off is around 68 or 69v for a 72v battery
That is entirely dependent on what battery chemistry he’s using, for lithium ion a 20s 72v pack could safely go as low as 60, and as low as 50 but be recovered via a process afterwards.
Suspension upgrade might make these things sendy
What you got into this project?
Video on total cost coming next week!
I still have to do one more modification before I am calling it done
Come to Colorado and cruise with the boys!

I know slot they are not slow they can have you going from 15 mph on a razor to 50 to 60 depends on your wait but they do overprice just a little bit
