Stardom (Japanese all female promotion) did this exact thing for Yoko Bito (Retired), Kairi Hojo (now Kairi Sane) & Io Shirai [When they respectively got signed], etc. WWE even allowed Kairi to return to Stardom for Yoko's retirement, though she didn't partake in the "Corner Run", she did present Yoko with some flowers.
