This painting is just gorgeous. I hope you are as pleased with it as those who watched you. There is so much to learn as I watched your very skilled paint brush; the way you so carefully mixed your colours; the amazing spattering and fan brush work. The birds are a nice touch.Thank you Joe for sharing your many skills with us. 😊
This is amazing, especially the technique to paint the foliage. Sorry to say, but the music sometimes was too loud, so I could hardly understand what you said. Thanks so much to share your talent!
Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, music is a challenge to get just right, but many areas would have been to slow without it. I will continue to try to get the volume right in future videos.
Absolutely stunning, and thank you for sharing the process. It helps me to understand what it takes to develop such aspects for the representation of such subject matter.
Tha k you for sharing your gift with us. Beautiful work. It is great to have a tutorial from a fellow Aussie painting well known Australian landscape. ❤
That's a beautiful piece of work there Joe. That fan brush is really useful for capturing the rough areas of shadow & I love the 'precision splattering' technique
Glad you liked it. I did only wet the back. I would only wet the front, with a spray bottle, if a particular area was drying too fast and needed a little bit of extra moisture, but from recollection, I did not have to do that with this painting.
I love this piece. Thank you
Glad you like it!
Thank you again for sharing your talent with us. I appreciate it so much. You are my number one watercolor artist❤
Wow, thank you!
Nice work. I’ve started quite a few of that area but never finished them. You’ve inspired me to complete one.
Good to hear. Good luck.

Awesome painting,I'm just curious, I'm very new to water color did you only wet the back of the paper ? Thanks

Hey sir , one more question for you, If.
You don't finish the painting in one setting,Can you rewet the back and finish up ? Thank you
Yes, of course. You have to make sure you don't get the front wet however.
