Teddy would have Ladies only Concerts. He was the MAN. Rip Teddy
Big Daddy Kane did the same thing. He said he got that from Teddy.
That scrunch face is what I always look forward to ... I always end up smiling. Much love to you, Ashley! Get better soon.
Yeah me too I look for that face😊
@@pvance61 Two of THEE best of all-time........ 2 G.O.A.T.S.......
Cracks me up watching her enjoy our music.😆🎼🎵🎶
He was also the lead singer for, “Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes.” Phenomenal chops.
His first Philadelphia International Records album without the label's co-founders writing and producing, but Teddy was on a roll and that didn't stop him from selling another platinum album, his fourth in four years. Back in that period, he was the King of R&B. Sistas were throwing their panties up on the stage at his concerts and he was eating up all the love and attention!
I had the pleasure of seeing him sing this at a "Ladies Only Concert"; No Words!
Teddy’s “Close the Door” is the song 🎶 ❤
Turn Out The Lights........and Light A Candle😉
I LOVE THAT SONG!!!!!!!!
Hi, youngster! So glad to see you reacting to my favorite balladeer. Teddy never put out a bad album, nothing but hits for him.
Young lady...you can only react to TP with a live video moving forward...He's MAGIC!
Please react to Teddy pendergrass " come on over to my place". And " it don't hurt now"
And Teddy pendergrass : "turn off the lights"
We had the best music back in the day!
Teddy Bear! Teddy was THE MAN! We LOVED him.#HomeGrown 💛
You Killin me... tired of getting beat up by love ... hoooooo! Fire..
Teddy Pendergrass, formerly with Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, was the smooth sexy voice of seventies soul! I remember my older sister had such a thing for him that she'd scream whenever his songs came on the radio and my mom would say "what happened?!" every time! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My dad introduced me to Teddy Pendergrass when I was about 9 yrs old. Awesome music. Issac Hayes, Barry White, Micheal McDonald and others were part of my musical experience as a kid. But then again so were led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith and (my personal favorite) Rush. I miss those days of great music.
When Music Was MUSIC !!!!
He's got another awesome song called Your My Latest Your My Greatest Inspiration. Baby making music!❤
Yep🙌🏾
to those of us who used to listen to TP on WDAS in Philly, keep his music alive
I'm a disabled military veteran that just happened to stumble across your channel and to one person to another that loves all types of music as much as I do, I can relate. Music is so soothing to the soul. And also, I love your reactions to the music. It reminds me of me, back in the day, how I moved to the groove when I heard a good song so it just took me back. Actually, I'm really surprised that you haven't heard of a lot of the songs that are requested. Look, I'm a huge fan of yours so sorry for being so blunt but this is my special request. It would be so nice to meet you in person so we could groove together. Because of the music, I can tell we share something special. It's amazing how you have this natural gift for radio/ television so it would be a honor to be in your presence. Keep doing what you doing beautiful. u r Blessed!
that melodic intro and bassline on that song is second to none ✊😌
Raspy, yet full of harmony...you're exactly right!!
U don't know how many Grandmas , moms and aunties were throwing their panties like Patrick Mahomes at him when he sang this song
It could even be argued he was the first one that happened to, well him of Marvin Gaye
When You start listening to Teddy with The Blue Notes You'll really be Excited
Thank you for keeping these classics alive. My dad put me one all of these soulful pieces of music
Teddy gets his message across in his slow jams.
This is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Just can't beat the music from back in the day. And there's so much more to hear.
Smooth and gritty. Deadly combo.
Teddy P is simoly one of the greates lead vocalist of all-time! Before the car incident Teddy was an unstoppable music artist! He was also witb "Herold Melvin and the Blue Notes" another great R&B/Soul group.

I'll never forget meeting Mr. Pendergrass before a show in Atlantic City. He went on stage and sang better than 85% of the talent today. *The thing is, he did it while sitting in a WHEERCHAIR...

There was no Black male singer with more sex appeal in the 70s than Teddy. He'd have ladies only concerts. Women literally threw their panties at him.
