How does the Bryant / Carrier brand ductless mini split stack up against the other brands like Daikin or Mitsubishi?

How does the remote control work on this? I have a Bryant unit , but the auto control does nothing. I have to change the function manually. Does anyone know how to use the remote? I’m thinking of adding 2 more units but not until I know it can operate automatically going from heating to cooling and back.
