Can you perhaps explain a little of what features "changed [your] life"?
I'm starting to see this browser get covered everywhere... but I can't see what it actually does different, other-than the obvious sidebar UI.
For a current user of say Firefox, Brave or Vivaldi, why should they switch?
@@dftfire the biggest feature is that bookmarks and tabs are the same thing with arc. I guess that's the best way to explain it. You organize your "tabs" into folders, rename them, and organize them however you want. Then you just leave them there forever. You never have to worry about "closing" your "tabs" it is an entirely different paradigm which is in my opinion revolutionary and frankly superior to the thing that all (or nearly all) other browsers do (having a tab bar which shows your open tabs and having a completely separate system for bookmarks). This is just one part though. In addition to this they **really** focus on their users. Ever week there are tons of new features that actually impact my life. They respond to emails like nearly instantly, they are super friendly. They are constantly pushing the boundary or what a browser can/should be. You can split your screen between multiple tabs and save those "split screens" along with all your other tabs. For instance lets say I was studying a math book. I could make a split screen between an arc note and the math book. I could leave this in all of my "tabs" and every time I open my browser on any of my macbooks (hopefully soon pc's too!) and to a lesser extent my phone, it will always be there. The reason I say it "changed my life", in a meaningful way is that it redefined what a browser is and what it could be. (I'm a computer programmer so completely revolutionizing my browser is no small thing). In addition to this they have completely redefined how good a company can listen to its users. I hope this somewhat answers your question, although in all honesty I would try daily driving it for a few months and see if you don't feel the same way!

Congratulations! I used A LOT of plugins to get something, I thought was close to what Arc offered (even a couple of months ago, which is years in reference to other browsers), so I was a bit sceptical at first. But the way Arc works won me over quickly. And I had an Arc moment (arcgasm?) at least once a day for the first two weeks or so … still have them - even though I am doing nothing fancy with it. So, THANK YOU for putting so much heart and mind into an everyday product. And, please stay a while. :)

You all may not realize just how much you've transformed the lives of those of us who work with browser-based systems. I'm a fan of Vivaldi too, but it tends to freeze 4-5 times a day. I've never had that issue with Arc. Plus, the stunning UI and the impressive UX...
Arc is great and I love the fact that it's ever changing and evolving. I only use Arc on my Mac, and I can't wait for the Windows version to run on my gaming machine. Good luck!

@@dftfire mac os and on ios iphone to have the sidebar sinchronised, I lost some time setting it up but it works in the end
I've been using Arc since October, and truthfully, it's the best browser out there, right now. Split screen, copy URL via keyboard shortcut, tab management, favorites tabs (different than pinned), and so many more smaller tweaks that just 👏 work 👏 beautifully 👏. Though, I've never used the easels or notes features, I have other apps for that. I feel this browser truly lives up to its vision as your "living room for the internet".
This app is Raycast level of both polish and usefulness. I can't live without either in my workflow.

I am not very vocal about technical products, I usually just use what I like and drop what I don't like. Arc was the easiest switch I made to a technology, for a technology I've been using for over 10+ years (Google Chrome)
Everyone in the office saw me using it and within 2 days everyone switched. Even the guy who hates change and trying new things!
Super excited for this milestone for Arc! Still can't wait until I can get this beauty on windows for my home PC, because it's literally changed my whole workflow on my work mac!

To be frank, I didn't believe in this product at first and it took me a while to finally pull the trigger and set it as my default browser. I went back to Chrome just to test out a few things last week and oh my.. i can't believe how much I missed Arc, i pretty much came back instantly. Thank you for all of your hardwork.

Congrats everyone! Been using it as my primary browser for over a year now and couldn’t be happier with it. I love good software, and this is one of the most exciting apps I’ve used/discovered in years.

What in particular did you like about it compared to other browsers?
@@dftfire that's a very difficult question, because there's so much honestly. I think the best praise I could give is that it's intuitive and easy to learn, while still being packed with a lot of advanced features.
The big one is Spaces, which can be configured with different profiles, so your can have different accounts for the same websites in each space (and it's integrated so well). I also have an Easel (basically a note page) with a few live previews, which I use as a dashboard for some work stuff - super handy. The customization is nice, the syncing between different devices works great.
These are just a couple examples, but I could probably go through every feature most browsers have, and Arc does it better in some way - tabs, folders, unified action palette, animations, everything is just delightful.
I will forever be grateful to the Arc team for this video, as it allowed me to unlock my full creative storytelling without holding back.
So, I have a gift for you all come fall!

@@dftfire This will only be understood if you have used it for a while, I also felt awkward when I used it at the beginning, but after using it for a while, I couldn't leave it at all, this is a completely different browser experience, the highlights are hidden in the mind
Will arc support ad blocking? Google chrome is actively trying to make it impossible to use adblockers.
