I am currently going through a lot of stressfull things, so i lately often loose my sense of reality, but i am kind of "used to it" and can deal with it way better now, so it is okay. My latest experiences felt like i was kind of pulled out of my body, and my fingers were quite numb. I have blackouts and delusions, and my personality suddenly changed a lot, which is pretty scary, but a positive thing: I completely lost my social anxiety through this personality change. I also am very sorry you have to go through this. Reading tons of articles and stories about dpdr helped me understand and helped me to not be that scared of it anymore. Also going outside, surrounding myself by people who distract me/keep me busy and baking helps me a lot. It kind of helps me to me "free my head". I hope you also find things which help you get through it!

idc if this song is years old, it’s still relevant to me. it’s like social anxiety/whatever happens to me in public as a fucking vibe/song and i love it. this song is exactly how it feels to live with social anxiety. but i digress. whenever i go out in public it’s like i become a different person… almost like i’m not myself. at home, i’m fine, and i feel and act fine because i don’t feel stressed. how i act at home is how i want to act in public, tbh. but… actually in public? that’s quite a different story. i have severe social anxiety so i’ve always thought it was that. regardless of whatever it is, i’m hyperaware and hypersensitive of literally everything in my surroundings and it’s such an exhausting experience to even go out for coffee. i’ll go out, then i’ll have to recharge for weeks on end just to go out and do something that’s usually a small and normal experience for most people. i hate it. i feel like everyone’s eyes are just constantly on me, somewhat detached because of the stress, and… well, like i’m losing my mind, exactly how this song says. i think my mind detaches itself because the stress is just too much for me to handle. my mouth - well, my face, really - will go numb because i’m trying to smile and seem “normal”. act “normal”. be “normal”, “natural”, and not like i’m having an internal panicking crisis over nothing. it feels like i’m constantly holding my breath. it… almost feels like an out-of-body experience, to be honest. i once almost cried because of the anxiety/stress while i was doing a NORMAL THING of being out in public just fucking getting coffee at a cafe for fuck’s sake. and the kicker? i used to be a social butterfly before. i fucking hate, hate, hateeee it so so much. and honestly? up until now, i just thought that was a normal experience for everyone, until i realized it wasn’t and that most people probably in fact do not in fact feel hypersensitive of everything around them. sorry for the long comment. i don’t usually comment on songs but i felt like i needed to vent because this one really just resonates with me. plus, it’s just a banger overall. 11/10 will listen to this again many more times

I always giggle nervously when strangers talk to me, it's so debilitating. But you're not alone, okay? Things will get better, I promise. idc if this song is years old, it’s still relevant to me. it’s like social anxiety/whatever happens to me in public as a fucking vibe/song and i love it. this song is exactly how it feels to live with social anxiety. but i digress.
whenever i go out in public it’s like i become a different person… almost like i’m not myself. at home, i’m fine, and i feel and act fine because i don’t feel stressed. how i act at home is how i want to act in public, tbh. but… actually in public? that’s quite a different story.
i have severe social anxiety so i’ve always thought it was that. regardless of whatever it is, i’m hyperaware and hypersensitive of literally everything in my surroundings and it’s such an exhausting experience to even go out for coffee. i’ll go out, then i’ll have to recharge for weeks on end just to go out and do something that’s usually a small and normal experience for most people. i hate it. i feel like everyone’s eyes are just constantly on me, somewhat detached because of the stress, and… well, like i’m losing my mind, exactly how this song says. i think my mind detaches itself because the stress is just too much for me to handle. my mouth - well, my face, really - will go numb because i’m trying to smile and seem “normal”. act “normal”. be “normal”, “natural”, and not like i’m having an internal panicking crisis over nothing. it feels like i’m constantly holding my breath. it… almost feels like an out-of-body experience, to be honest. i once almost cried because of the anxiety/stress while i was doing a NORMAL THING of being out in public just fucking getting coffee at a cafe for fuck’s sake.
and the kicker? i used to be a social butterfly before. i fucking hate, hate, hateeee it so so much.
and honestly? up until now, i just thought that was a normal experience for everyone, until i realized it wasn’t and that most people probably in fact do not in fact feel hypersensitive of everything around them.
sorry for the long comment. i don’t usually comment on songs but i felt like i needed to vent because this one really just resonates with me. plus, it’s just a banger overall. 11/10 will listen to this again many more times

Wow, everything you said is exactly what happens to me when I'm in public too. I try so hard to look "normal", to look "perfect", I feel like I have to pay attention to EVERY MOVE I make. I always giggle nervously when strangers talk to me, it's so debilitating. But you're not alone, okay? Things will get better, I promise.
What I do to try to stop thinking that I'm the center of the world is to focus on something else (good weather, your phone, thinking about the things you have to do). People are busy focusing on their own lives, too!
And know that when you do something in public, you can inspire others. Never forget your worth, I'm sure you are a strong and amazing person!!
