One thing I will say that many people dont understand, you dont need to have alot of money to live the best life. I see a man with his 2 best friends in a tent, living it. How much did it cost? a few hundred with equipment and it really doesnt cost the much. People really dont appreciate just how amazing life can be and the puppers love this. All the vids I have watched, the pups have always been happy and Monte looks like he doesnt have a care in the world when on the canoe.
lets not forget that with all these problems along with the fading light and a blizzard on the way there is still the shooting of video to attend to--the setting up and breaking down of the camera, ect--that is the most important thing. He's a beast!

I was born up in Kenora, ON. I grew up out in the woods. My favorite thing to do now, in my mid-fifties, is to go bike packing in my new home of Washington State. I usually go out at least 12 times a year. Unfortunately my girl has been fighting cancer the last three years. Do to the need for me to be home and as quarantined as much as possible, for her. I have not been able to get into the woods. Thank you so much, for doing it, for all of us that can't. Strangely, watching you and Monty out there gives me some form of satisfaction. Hopefully I will be able to take my first overnighter this spring.

I hate to say it but you really should make a checklist of the items you absolutely need and check out off every time you go camping. You won't leave out the stuff you want. And I live in South Florida and it's even cold here. It hasn't gone above 45° F. It hasn't been cold for Christmas in a lot of years. So this weather is Florida's Christmas present from mother nature. 😁

A little battery operated fan to hang from an "S" hook from the tents ceiling does wonders to circulate the heat,makes it warm at floor level.
