A while back I watched a movie(Escape from Pretoria) with Daniel Radcliffe who played Harry Potter. From the first time he was on the screen, I couldn’t unsee him as Harry Potter, even though he played such a different role. It’s not because they’re not good enough actors and they can’t make us unsee Rachel and Harry Potter, but because they’re such icons in both those roles. They still play their roles amazingly because they’re great actors

@Lou In Oz Definitely. Add the Good Girl, TMS and Object of my Affection to the equation as well and it shows what kind of talents she possess as an actress. The kind of which she hadn't been tapping into much, cause she always went with these Rom-Com flicks that score 5.0-6.0 on IMDB etc. Finally she's showing some more depth. And it is easy to agree that it must have been frustrating for her that Warner Brothers and NBC just kept forcing her to project this Rachel Green image, with the fake long blond hair and pretty outfits etc. It really didn't help to diversify herself or her resume. But thankfully TMS is something that goes in the right direction.
