I know this might be a little too personal but I just wanted to share this. I could’ve had an older sibling but they didn’t make it unfortunately. I don’t know how or why but something just told me and like somehow I just saw an older sibling in my thoughts before my dad told me about my older sibling. Hearing this song, I felt a message. My older sibling calling out to me. I hope they’re doing okay and are proud of me throughout my lifetime. Fly high sibling, I love you so much and I think about you every day ❤

i actually teared up hearing this one, it's just so good. hearing saros' demos reminds me of when i first found synthv and was blown away by the quality and by all the emotional, ethereal pieces made using it's vocals. i'm so, SO excited to hear what people do with them once they release

They are very expressive and melodious, they have a unique melancholic and romantic sound that I don't remember ever hearing. I'm sure I would cry because of how beautiful they sound if it weren't for the fact that my hearing aids are broken and I can't hear them in their entirety

@@nanangiez His voice does not sound feminine to me, even though it is relatively high-pitched. Yuma, who was considered androgynous, had a more feminine voice than Saros. Saros may have the look, but his voice does not match. His voice is still amazing, though.

This song would deserve a music video. I preordered him, but is it a problem if I wanna know who the singer is? Anybody knows? His voice is similar to the Fall Out Boys' singer on the high notes, but not on the lower ones. He's likely an afro-american.
no wayno way man. I spent about 4 hours to find the rest of the songs of this artist on specialized sites. Being in despair, I continued my search on RUclips and it turns out that this is Saros is vocaloid 💀💀💀. Dude, I don't know what to think now. Maybe Tylor Swift is also your handiwork?

The expression is impressive, but the whole vocal sounds very thin, and gritty and grainy like it was downsampled to 8 bits. Is that how it always sounds, or was that some kind of artistic choice?

Saros is neither! Eclipsed Sounds uses they/them pronouns to describe both the voicebank AND the character. A "SAROS" in astronomy is the time period between solar and lunar eclipses. In the same vein, Saros both visually and sonically is in between Solaria and Asterian!

They sound beautiful but for some reason the pronunciation seems weaker than the prior demo? Almost as if they have a European accent, though this may be due to the producer’s own style.
define 'european accent', as europe has so many different languages and accents

While this demo sounds good quality wise, I would like to see a sort of more generic "bread and butter" type of male voice rather than more niche type of voices like this one, in a similar manner like solaria, which is a great but generic enough voice to be useful in a wide variety of ways because it's not extreme in any direction (well maybe it's extreme in singing ability, but you can never have too much of that) . Voices like these or asterian for example is more niche already, because asterian is so low and deep and this is quite feminine for a male voice.
Edit: To be clear: There are indeed more regular male voices, but not many that are natively english speaking, so they have noticeable foreign accents when you let them sing in english.
Have you tried with voices like An Xiao?
"I want generic voicebank" go literally anywhere else. Kevin, An Xiao, Jun, and Ryo all exist and can give you what you want. Eclipsed Sounds goal since Solaria was to give the voice synth world voices we haven't gotten yet. Solaria is a female English voicebank with power and range, Asterian is a black American voicebank with an insane baritone, and Saros is an emotive, androgynous voice. don't ask them to do something that's already been done, because they're likely not interested
Thank you for your feedback! This demo is meant to showcase the more feminine side of SAROS' voice, as while they are a tenor they are not strictly a masculine or male voice. While they are capable of more typical masculine expression, we wanted to create a vocal whose versatility in range and style exceeded a default "male" presentation - but we will certainly take on your preference for future projects as we also would like to cover the more typical "everyman" type of vocal!
@@eclipsedsounds Do you think Saros might be suitable as a countertenor? I've been wanting a countertenor voice type since as far back as like, Vocaloid 2 or 3...
@@TheWesternSage , it's possible! their range does cover most of the typical countertenor range, so depending on if they fit your tone specifications for what you'd like to see in a countertenor vocal, you may be able to use them in that way as well! (Especially if you have a more "typical" tenor to fill that spot)
Another great voicebank. Pity the voice is drowned in reverb.
But do we know if the reverb is baked in or added later?
Solaria at least does not have any reverb, so I would guess that the reverb is just part of the production of this particular song
@@PowerRedBullTypology That is an added reverb but I think it's a shame because the character of the voice and how it really sounds is a bit lost. Of course reverb is always used, but I would have liked to hear it a little less here.

This artwork is sooo cool, no, it's ridiculous that he appears as a female. I've been waiting for a new demonstration for so long. Your singer has a useful voice for a lot of genres. So I need to buy him. I have Solaria, Jun, Xiao and Natalie, got Mai for free and a free M-Banja Ricky trial, and D-Lin trial. And collecting money to tune my Saab Cabriolet from 209 hp to 340 hp.

They very helpful when you wanna make some songs yourself and if you can’t get to sing right. So far I think they are very good, even there is limits still.
