Sheesh, how did I only *just* find this?
For a demo that was simply meant to show SAROS' basic capabilities, Dokuro went really above and beyond incorporatng so much emotion and depth into the lyrics *and* instrumental, and this is all accompanied with Perisceris' gorgeous art, making this whole MV into something that is so unmistakably beautiful.
WOWOWOWOW DM DOKURO is so talented!!! This song is so lovely and SAROS' vocals definitely made it perfect! 🥹

@@DustedArchivistAnd yet people decided to hate on him because of a mod for a game. Heartless bastards. People don’t realize that music is art, and art takes time to make. I would fight every single asshole that decided to send threats to Dokuro if it meant he would make music for Calamity again. I miss his music that much. I don’t even know if any amount of apologies or sympathy will move Dokuro at this point, as the community I’ve been with for years has gone too far.
@MenacingTato69420 I understand your point, but he's far past calamity now. I don't mean to scold you, but I think the best thing to do is to let it go. The music he made is still there, and you can listen all you like.

Vocal synthesizers these days absolutely blow me away with how realistic they sound- I had to double and triple check the description to make sure I was reading it correctly! I would never have guessed this wasn’t a human singer! Some people complain that musical talent is being overrun by technology, but I for one am thankful for these tools. They allow artists who cannot sing or afford to pay a singer to still show their vision to the world. God bless synths and all their users!
This is vocaloid tough ? Wich has always been popular and no one had a problem with because they do this very cool thing called "paying the pepole they take from" and thats neat.
@Dein-ft4wf vocaloids were seen as unique voices like Miku that are very unique and don't sound realistic, but in this case this is very different because you can't tell. I'm not implying anything by this, I'm just saying.

Absolutely fantastic. Seeing the two of you collab is fantastic. DMDOKURO never disappoints with his music. So glad to hear another powerful piece from him.
This demo song is just perfect, I seriously love the odd tempo and unusual time signature. And the chord progression is just perfect, especially at the end.
Also I hope there's an instrumental for this song.

@@mt180extras it's common in the culture of the long-term vocal synth user space to show support for songwriters & songs they like by creating covers with other vocal synthesizers using the original instrumental!

I was expecting a producer I wouldn’t be familiar with. It it wild to see DM DOKURO using SAROS!!! But it totally makes sense. It’s so powerful! He really captures SAROS’ spirit while still showing off his own style : ) Fantastic demo!!!

Took me a couple tries to grasp the full meaning of the song (I was pretty much blown away by how good it sounded). The way I've interpreted the lyrics, it's an incredibly moving and motivational song about carving your own path despite everything people and life throw at you, to the extent that you begin to breathe life and warmth into what was once an uncertain and perhaps dark future. Added to the playlist for sure.

This new voice is awesone. I amost gave up with this program, but now I can move forward and these demo's are inspiring. IMO you need a good pair of headphones for this to feel how amazing complex and beautiful this 'demo' is.

This is an amazing proof of concept but it feels like since it had to focus mainly on the vocal synth the rest of the song didn't get to slap as hard as DM DOKURO's usual. Maybe I'm not smart enough to appreciate it lol but imo it's just not as catchy as his other stuff.
