Looking forward to trying some September coffee soon :) Shoutout to my faves Hatch and Seth Taylor here in Toronto
Thanks Kyle. Perfect chance to get some September coffee for the first time! I have two fav local roasters, one is well known outside Italy and is called Ditta Artigianale (Florence based), the other one is the one I have started my coffee voyage with, still taking some blends for cappuccinos, called Caffe Verre near Naples.
Shout out to Café Chulo, a small but amazing coffee shop & roaster in Grenoble, France highlighting 100% guatemalan coffees =)
I've 3 local roasters : September Coffee 😁, Little Victories, Happy Goat, all here in Ottawa, Ontario Canada
Brown Bag Coffee Co. Thanks for the discount code and looking forward to getting a few bags.
I love supporting my local community roasters and coffee houses. One of my favorites is called Weird Brothers. They always offer great coffees for me to try in house and of course to take home too. Best wishes on September’s success and growth.
Love it and thank you!
Thank you for your passion. It comes through in every cup of "September Coffee" I drink❤
Thanks Phillip!
Congrats! Kyle on your new launch, look forward to see more.
Can’t wait to share more
Super cool to see what you’ve got going on begin the scenes. Congratulations on everything you’ve accomplished so far! I was a kickstart backer and loved the coffees I received!
I would like to shout out Methodical Coffee in SC. They keep high standards, and roast great coffee!
Thanks for backing us, and all the best!
One of my local roasters is She Brews. Roasts in house every Thursday. Partners with a ministry to help women transition from incarceration to life and helps reunite them with their children. Helps with housing, financial support and life support as they make the transition.
Shoutout to Desnudo Coffee in Austin. Best coffee truck I ever seeeeen. They are two brothers that work to help coffee farmers and communities they live in along with making such yummy unique coffee. It's a business with passion for coffee and a huge heart for the growers of that coffee and those they share it with.
Love it!
Olympia Coffee roasting has been my local love! Now September joins the fray as my Canadian coffee love!
Thank you!
Congratulations on your great new space and upcoming roaster. I live in a rural town, but when I am in Vancouver BC I like Pallet Coffee Roaster and Timbertrain Coffee. Revolver Coffee is also a neat shop that stocks coffees from around the world.
Looking forward to your future videos, and thank you for all your reviews and education on coffee brewing.
Shout out to Rivet Coffee Roasting Co in Westfield, IN. Absolutely loved my Kickstarter coffee from September. I do believe it may be the first coffee I've ever felt like I could truly taste all the flavor notes listed. Keep up the great work!
Glad to hear it!
Shoutout to Temple Coffee Roasters in Sacramento, CA, my local shop and roaster. And also to The Boy and The Bear in Redondo Beach, CA where I fell in love with Colombian coffee beans!
Congratulation Kyle! and to the rest of your team at September Coffee Company! As for favorite roaster that would have to be SkyTop Coffee in Manlius NY!
We are a local roaster! Dallas TX area, Pax & Beneficia Coffee. I’m biased but we have been roasting for our cafes and customers for 10 months, and it’s quite a journey.
You guys keep inspiring my wife and I. Thank you!
Right on!
I'm very happy to see your progress going well and am looking forward to see more.
Shout out to the local roasters of Siberian city of Irkutsk that are Golobokov's Coffee Workshop, Egineeria, Atlas Coffee. Theya are doing a great job!
Amazing!
Congrats on getting more space than you expected! My favourite local roaster is Bright Jenny, who also interestingly enough just expanded a bit as well.
Nice! Thanks for sharing
Me too! Especially now they’ve opened up that second location on Kirschner. I love the original’s outdoor space and proximity to the Rail Trail but parking sucks there.
Best locally roasted coffee I've ever had in Ottawa (Yukro / Ethiopia). Found you on the shelf at Red Door. It was the freshest coffee on offer. Can't wait to try more!
Stoked to hear that
Voyager, Verve, Cat and Cloud, Chromatic are my favorite local roasters
Nice! Thanks for sharing
I appreciate your call out to local roasters beyond your own company!
Of course!
Thanks so much for bringing along for the journey! Looking forward to your upcoming content. For my local shoutout - What’s Brewing, San Antonio, Texas.
Love it! Thanks for sharing
Love to see you having such a passion for this.
Where Im from so many good roasters in Brisbane from Coffee Beans Delivered, Paradox Roasters, Crema Coffee Garage, Foster and Black, Elixir and so many orhers.
Hell it inspired me to roast at home, big shout out to Andy from Coffee Snobs and the Bean Bay where I get amazing green beans.
Amazing!
Lots of good roasters around Toronto :)
I'm thinking Subtext, Ethica, De Mello, and Social.
I'll also order from Monogram in Alberta sometimes. Really liked the ONE SEY coffee I tried from NY.
I'll try your coffees eventually, just have too many right now plus greens I have to roast!
I really like the idea of not wasting Good but not perfectly up to your standards coffees and offering those at a discounted price like I noticed on your website! Hopefully you keep that (even if you're making less mistakes heh).
So many good roasters! Thanks Ben! All the best!
Winchester Coffee Roasters are my local roaster here in the south of England.
Congrats on the roastery!
Thanks!
20Grams coffee roasters in Singapore. They recently upgraded to a loring as well!!
Once everything is fully up and running, with the roaster in place, etc., would you ever consider opening your roastery to the public to visit/view the operations (to the extent that it wouldn't interfere) - something similar to how wineries/breweries offer tours? Personally, that would be really cool!
Would love to!
Ditto.
Paper Planes is a cool local coffee shop out of Montclair, NJ, USA. Took a while to start up but their cafe is designed as if you're on a plane. Always a treat to go on Sunday mornings
Very nice!
Congratulations on all the progress you guys have made. I am in the small town of Spartanburg, SC and we have a great local roaster - Little River Roasting.
Shoutout to many roasters here in Montreal ! Pista, Zab , Jungle .. and congrats on your project ! I've just finished the Chocorazz truffle and it's sooo good !! Next on the line Cranberry Punch !

This is great, Kyle! I'm sure this is an exciting time for you and your family. My wife and I aer on a similar journey abs launched our own micro-roastery, Boundary Roasting Co. We share your passion in offering great quality, traceable coffee to coffee lovers from all over.
Congrats!
Just order some guadalupe el salvador espresso moments ago. Happy to support the business.
Enjoy!
I really appreciate this and am so glad to watch your journey!
While it’s not financially viable to purchase September regularly being in Australia, your philosophy is just as important and I’ll keep running with that and supporting locally and support you via patreon and the tube. Thanks Kyle!
You’re the best. Love this attitude!
Great Vid. Congrats. Shout out to Alana's Coffee Roasters in Venice, LA's best.
Amazing!
Hey Kyle, Thank you for the way you are sharing your thoughts and visions. Always seems genuine, high standards and fun to watch!!! ♥Love so many of the San Francisco Bay Area roasters that have been mentioned and seeing all the others from the USA and around the world. "Wishing I could taste them all" - The roaster that put me on this delicious home barista journey has been Chromatic - Gamut Espresso😋
Appreciate this! Thanks for the kind words and sharing!
Your journey has been a real inspiration for my own coffee roasting journey! Best of luck! :)
Looking forward to taste your coffee when I get back to Toronto. And love the coffee from HATCH.
Amazing!
I’ve enjoyed every bag so far from September, and shared a bag of espresso beans with my brother who said it was the best he’s ever made. Around Orlando is lineage coffee, Axum in nearby Winter Garden, and Trilogy in DeLand, all of which roast some amazing coffees.
Can’t wait for my next shipment of September arriving next week!
Love that!
My local roaster is Acoustic Java in Worcester, MA, USA. My wife usually stops to pick up coffee. She tells them I like “fruity, wild, and funky coffees”. She always brings home something fun. Most recent is a bourbon barrel rested Sumatra that is a real funky trip!
Right on!
Kudos for this great endeavors and putting Canada on the map for making kickass coffee roasting. Looking forward to making a visit. Cheers
Oh I by no means am putting Canada on the map. Some of my favourite roasters are from Canada. But happy to be one of them!
Congrats!!!
Thanks
Wood Buffalo Coffee Co.
Incredible coffee from northern Canada!
I''m so happy seeing you succeed! I'm waiting for the day when I'll buy a bag from you, it's coming! 😁
Thank you!
Just found you guys, looking forward to try your different roasts ! The videos look awesome.
Small issue however, the french version of your website is actually a google translate version of french, so it's often not the correct words that are used in the context. It needs a little love to make it feel properly finished.
Keep up the good work and great content !
Willl take a look! Thanks!
Starting out with a Loring? Dang bro you're going hard right out the gate. You're a few hours from me over here in Vermont, we got tons of great independent shops. Vivid and Brio are my go to shops at the moment.
Right on! Yeah we are excited to get our loring. It’s not a large loring so that helps justify it.
Hey, can you give us a recommended espresso makers for home
I was wondering why you coffees where a bit more expensive than comparable roasters. I'm super happy to hear that you are producer focused. To me makes a huge it makes a difference in who i buy coffee from. Giving producers a living or better wage should be the goal of all. I grew up working on a farm and i know how much blood, sweat and tears go into being a farmer.
PS. Are you planning for a small retail space at that location?
We’re only more expensive than those who aren’t sourcing from the same level of transparency or quality, I think you’ll find us the same or cheaper than similar options for ingredient quality.
We don’t plan to, no. Maybe in the distant future
I love Morning Owl, Equator and Bridgehead here in Ottawa. Excited to see September take off as well.
Excited to be here.
desert wind roasters in Vegas is great! Vesta is a close second in Vegas also ! :)
Right on!
Congrats! Really cool to see the roastery coming together. Choosing the Loring was definitely the right move, they're workhorses no doubt.
Yes we’re very excited
Local Roaster shout out: Mahjoub at Cafe Aroma Select in Gatineau (Aylmer). Absolute master of his craft!
Congrats on opening up your own coffee roasting business. My favorite coffee roaster is called Indaba Coffee Roasters and their High Drive Medium-Dark blend.
Very nice!
Local roasters around Canada I have enjoyed are: Nemesis Coffee, Prototype Coffee, Elysian Coffee, Pilot Coffee, Brulerie du Quai. Looking forward to explore more
Great names!
Congratulations Kyle and family! What a fantastic venture! I’d like to shout out Creation Coffee Co. in Midland,MI.
Thank you! And wonderful!
Good luck , can’t wait to taste September coffee !!! My local go to roaster is Lineage Coffee Roasters in Orlando, Fl they’re great, and I’m sure September will be as well!!!
Love it!
Local roasters are gonna be the Hoff at Square Mile , and Liberty based in Ally Pally.then there's Coffee Wizards at under pressure espresso bar when I'm back home in Brum.
Just SO spoiled for choice being in North London
Love it!
Crazy thing , EVERY city has roasters , they are there you just gotta dig and find them. Go tour around allll the coffee shops , get chatting with the owners , drink LOADS of espressos and cortados and filters and learn why some cafes all get their beans from the same place - then find where THAT roaster is based.
For instance I couldn't believe HOW MANY indie cafes there are in Edinburgh on a recent work trip. And many source from different local roasters - there's just so much diversity out there with blends and batch roasts every week tweaking taste and bringing out nuance 👌☕
What is your QC like? Do you use cropster or other software? Why loaring and hot air roaster? What did you choose the bags you did? one way values are not recycle does that bother you?
I’ll answer this in a future vid!
Congratulations to all of you! Looking forward to tasting it!
We can’t wait for you to!
@@KyleRowsell are you selling anywhere in Toronto?
@@iquintani knife will be selling September next week!
@@KyleRowsell awesome! I'll be passing through and have no address to ship it.
Thank a lot!!!
Well, since September is local to me.. that seems a bit obvious :D
But my others would be Blue Barn, Animated Coffee, and the most local is Equator but they are not in my top 5
Right on!
Atta boy!
Komma kaffe in Søborg, Denmark - really nice people and they sell excellent green beans to!
Amazing!
The Best of Luck in the future. Will you be selling Green Beans? I have just started roasting my coffee but on a much smaller scale. What do yo think of the Kaffelogic Nano 7? It fits perfectly in my apartment.
Andy town in SF is great. Also red bay in Oakland CA.
Nice!
Do you store organic coffee?

Are there any coffee shops in Houston you are working with or plan to?
Not yet, but always open.
The logo reminds me of travelers insurance
Congrats on September and its new HQ, I truly admire your commitment to quality and promoting local roasters. My coffee journey escalated when I received a coffee subscription as a gift. When that ended, I pursued local roasters to lower my carbon footprint and support local businesses. When traveling, I seek out local roasters and bring home a fresh bag. Keep on making a great product. Also, your space looks beautiful.
Hi Kyle! First and foremost, congratulations on your September HQ! I am currently enjoying your coffee :) I have an unusual question for you…I would like to continue supporting your channel/roaster; however, i am not sure whether becoming your patreon or subscribing to your monthly coffee is the best way. Which one do you prefer? Thanks!
You’re truly too kind. This comment is very kind. I don’t feel comfortable answering this so please what ever you would prefer! One is coffee and another is perks/giveaways.
Ilse Coffee, Canaan CT ❤
Legends
My third and fourth bags are on yhier way!!
Woo hoo!
Cavan Coffee in Guelph, Ontario!
Love it!
Wonderstate here in Wisconsin is kicking out some tasty brews. Check them out!
I will!
Will you provide more subscription options in the future, e.g. I’d prefer 1 not 2 x 250gr bags as I sub to other roasters so would end up with too much coffee 😅
Also shipping to New Zealand doesn’t work fyi “Shipping not available
Your order cannot be shipped to the selected address. Enter a different address.”
For subs: at this time we’re focused on curating 2 coffees per month. 1 per month would have to be fairly high priced as we include shipping.
And shoot, I’ll fix that right now
@@KyleRowsell all good, thanks!
I'm going to shout out my local roaster Giorgio's coffee in New York roasters they have amazing Ethiopian beans
Love it!

It’s possible now!
@@KyleRowsell Thanks a lot, hoping to get some soon 🥰
Felixkaffee and Paul und Bohne. Both from Austria.
Amazing!
So glad to have ordered the beans (despite the stupidly expensive shipping)
Can’t wait to find a special occasion to order again
Shoutout: homeground and Puck Provisions in Singapore
Thanks! We’re constantly working on cheaper shipping and free options (since we already have a few) but working to bring very affordable shipping worldwide! But hands are tied with carriers demands at the moment.
Big up to Cassette Roaster and Eleven Speed Coffee!
Thanks for sharing!
I'll shout out Happy Goat Coffee in Ottawa... Do you sell retail or just online?
