(I believe RIGHT before he says get on this side, you can hear a very close hard thud, which I'm assuming gave him the position of which side would be safe from any further projectiles)

@@zachlang1982 "we took out the Taliban" 🤔 last I checked the Taliban controls over 50 PERCENT of the country, and al qaeda still controls great parts of the country as well. Do you really think the US, corporations, elite zionist individuals give a shit for US citizens or Israeli citizens. They don't give a shit for a HUMAN LIFE. They don't give a crap if there is a thousand of 9/11s if there is no benefit and profit. As you may know (seems like you don't), al Qaeda is a US made element, an asset for them to carry on US agendas. The real reason the US military is in Afghanistan, is because of Iran. If America really wants to end Taliban and al Qaeda, they could've done it YEARS ago. A country, once was the 4th largest army in world, gotten took down by the US and 36 other countries(but they little contributed) under 24 HOURS!!! WTF.

    • @zachlang1982
      @zachlang1982 3 года назад +45

@@user-dp7zu1hc6n Right off the bat I can tell you know nothing about the timeline of the war in Afghanistan. The Taliban existed (or existed) in two entities. The first form of the Taliban was the de facto government that was in place in Kabul and other major cities, which came to power in the 1990’s after the Soviet-Afghan war. It was more of a conventional military force. The United States toppled that regime in just a couple weeks, since the Taliban was harboring al-Qaeda and refused to expose bin Laden. After the overthrow the Taliban has since been an insurgency, which is it’s second form. Those actions taken by the U.S. led coalition greatly contributed to America’s national security over time.
Iraq was the same concept. We did take out Saddam and his Republican Guard in less than a month. However after his government was removed, al-Qaeda along with other secular insurgencies continued to fight asymmetrical warfare against the coalition for several years afterwards.
The U.S. can win conventional wars fairly quick, but cannot fully eradicate an insurgency on their own soil with military force alone. No other country really can either.
Above all else, nothing you said disputes my overall point, and that is there’s a difference between what a government’s goals are in a war vs what the soldiers actually fight for on a personal level. U.S. troops fight for their country first, regardless of what the U.S. government wants to achieve.

For those unaware, C-RAM is Counter Rocket Artillery and Mortar. It’s essentially and AA system that is made to shoot down rockets automatically.
Edit: You don’t hear an explosion because these C-RAMs can usually shoot down said incoming artillery within a 2 mile stretch. Shooting them also doesn’t necessarily make them explode as it damages the ignition portion which is why it’s possible to find live explosives in the field that are undetonated.

To be fair, they're not the first generation to do so. when video cameras first got cheaper, a lot of home videos came out, but also a lot of combat footage from places like Vietnam. The only limiter was that video footage was not as accessible to people other than the recorder, being as there was no interwebs and the footage needed to exist physically and be developed physically, which made it somewhat harder to get this footage back home intact.

A large amount of CRAM hits are actually hit/deflections. To me, what you're hearing in this video is a hit/deflection. The deformed rocket is now making a buzzing sounds as it spins to earth. Sometimes the deflection from the CRAM takes out the rockets ability to explode on impact, sometime the deflection from being hit by the CRAM takes the rocket off course and into a B-HUT filled with people and kills them all. When the giant voice tells you to take cover, take cover.

It's a good way when some1 makes laugh about soldiers that shit isn't that scary.
So you can show them this.
Also many of those recordings made by just someb"random soldiers" are used for training purposes.
      For example.
      Did you heard the whistle?
Did you heard how it sounds?
This sound tells you that the mortar flies above you.
For example if you hear mortart wihistle get closer louder and then go silent... then fucking run fir your life cuz it's gonna hit close to ya or that's last thing you heared.
They show recirdings like that to young recruits to shiw them what they deal with so it stays in their mind and they see those images and sound over and over again in head so if the shit goes wrong they can handle it better.
Even on video you see they handled that pretty good.
