My grandpa was in ww2 and saw battle when he was 19, and growing up my siblings and I used to ask him to tell us stories, like “wow, grandpa, you’re so brave, it must’ve been epic!” And I’ll never forget how he looked at me sternly and told us “nothing about war is epic. It’s all horrific. It’s all bad. Never expect anything less.”

Out of thousands of people, of course, there will be some racial incidents, especially with emotions running so high. So use common sense next time and try again. There are racial incidents everywhere, racism is not totally eradicated as of yet, that doesn't mean most Ukrainians are Nazis, quite the opposite. Maybe that’s dumb idealism considering the last two decades but that’s how I personally feel. I can’t speak for leaders and I don’t care about their politics. @@ZdravkovBG you know that azov battalion has around 1000 members. Ukraines population is around 50 million. How can you even suport Putin? Who is sending 19 year old conscript into frontlines to die for nothing. Meanwhile russia is returning to 1960s.

Three thousand American dollars a month? No, that doesn’t sound right at all. Magazine 1843 reported the salary of foreign fighters to be less than 300 dollars a month.
Three grand is literally half of the annual pay of a Ukrainian citizen working in Ukraine. There’s no way the Ukrainian government has the money to pay unskilled individuals three grand a month

These volunteers wont be paid......paperworks conveniently lost to show proof of their service...
The next surviving ukraine govt after the war would then publicly proclaim thst they used all the money donated towards their war efforts to "pay" these volunteers and their citizens and the rest goes toward rebuilding efforts...
