1911 is an awesome shooting machine but the fitting of a great pistol makes almost every part a hand fit when the finish considerations are included. This video is helpful. Thanks.

Great video. I purchased the Bantam R 9mm and love it! Such a smooth shooter. I’ve got 1000 rounds or so through it with not a single issue. It has become my every day carry. I am a bit concerned with the factory finish on the gun. Couple of superficial scratches (not an issue), but my conceal carry holster is rubbing the finish off. I use the urban carry G3. The locking mechanism has removed the finish From the trigger guard. This is NOT to say that either product is defective. I am considering getting a more durable coating on the gun. Just not sure which is the best option.

Thank you for your super comments. As for finish for a bunch of carry and holstering, I would go with our black shield Nitro carborizing. Very durable.

Fantastic editing and presentation. I was so impressed with what I’ve heard and saw about your company that I ordered a Bantum from you all today. I was equally impressed with the level of customer service your phone attendant and gunsmith Tyler provided with ensuring he answered all my questions and concerns. To those questioning whether to purchase a firearm from this company, I recommend them. I will certainly revisit this to update on how well the weapon performs but I have no doubts that it will function flawlessly. It’s refreshing seeing a company stand behind their product and offer such a great degree of customer service. I expect this will not be my only purchase from you, keep up the great work.

Awesome video Bob. Another area I've found gave me problems after refinishing was in the frame where the trigger bows ride. I need to call y'all about some Melonite finishes. Thanks, Vern

A new finish would tighten up a production gun, a bit? Can't wait to see you guys making guns.

I have had 2 Duracoat nightmares. First, the replica gun blueing Blue-Black color came out spotty. Then on another pistol, they sent me the wrong color. Came out “Bronzy Osborne” color when I was going for a metallic grey. In the lighting and because I trusted them to actually send me the right color properly labeled, as it was mis labeled I now have a bronzy gun when it was supposed to be mettalc grey.

Yes, the spray on coatings are not always fun to work with.
