That length of stock is about as short as a piece you would want to run across the jointer safely. Using the push blocks I do not push down on the dealing edge of the stock, I push from the back push pad. Once the stock has passed the cutter head I use the front push pad to pull the stock. This makes more sense when jointing longer boards with short board like this it hard to do. Nice table top jointer. I wonder if the cutter heads are a standard size that can be sourced from most any where?😁🛫
You make a valid point. I do the same thing when pushing the material. I will show that in more detail when I start making videos using this jointer. The blades appear to be a little larger. I going to be checking for alternative sources just to see what is available. Thank you very much.
I have this same jointer. I have a similar dust collection system but also use the shop vac from time to time. Either arrangement and the chips blow out the opposite side of the tool. It cuts quite well but the sawdust goers all over the place. Any suggestions ?? Thank you for this video. I learned several set up processes that are a great help! Oh yea, mine is the silver table version.
Hi Paw-Paw, I just found your video from 2018 where you repaired attic stairs. I am trying to order hinge arms for my attic stairs and they look identical to yours. i can;t find a brand name on mine and I don't know what year they were manufactured. Do you know the brand of your attic stairs or what year they were made? 2010 or newer or before 2010?
The attic stairs that I repaired was from the 70's or early 80's. I have no idea the name of the manufacturer. Rarely have I every seen a name on any attic stairs unit. They are however very similar in design, you may be able to purchase matching sets of hinges and make it work.
From my understanding those cutter heads are 2 sided, not 4 sided. The Wahuda brand jointers, that used to be the distributor of Cutech jointers, are 4 sided and come with cast steel beds.
Almost all power tools are noisy. If you are concerned wear hearing protection. I have tools that are louder as well as some that are less noisy. What are you comparing it to?
I turn down more items than I review. Any item that I review I have tried and tested in my shop. If I find problems or the item does not make my standard it does not get reviewed. I give the negative feedback directly to the company. I either return the item or throw it away.

I've owned the silver table version for over two years now and I'm very happy with it. Very nice review, Paw Paw.
That is awesome! Thank you
The cutters are actually two sided and not four sided as I stated in the video. Please be aware of this correction.
Great job Paw Paw, you`re the BEST!
Thank you so much!
very nice introduce video

Check to see if there is a blockage inside the machine preventing the dust from being sucked out
Congratulations I hope it’s useful for you 💐💐🇮🇶
Thank you! 😃 This will be a great addition. I have needed a jointer for a long time and could not afford one.

This is sold by cuttech tools. The site is www.cutech.tools

You are correct, I just pulled the cutter off the machine and it is 2 sided. Thank you very much.
MDF? Why I make my own cabinets.
No MDF in my cabinets
👍👍👍👌❤
Thank you very much.
The motor is too noisy

No such thing as an honest review for a free toy.
