Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill... the string can go straight through the top and would work exactly the same way - no holes in the side needed. Just don't put the top back in. If one REALLY wants the hole in the side (no idea why) then again, all the faff with the string is unnecessary. Put the string in through the side and, using the original insert (the ink tube or whatever that bit of the pen is called) and a piece of double-sided tape or blutack, attach the sticky stuff to the end of the ink tube, press it to the end of the string in the 'pen' and push it through to the end. Takes seconds.
Never in my entire life have I seen someone make something so easy so complicated

great job. What was the little rotary tool that you used to drill the hole please?
Thanks a lot ❤✌🤞
You could've just removed the cap and slipped the thread through it. No need to melt the hole. It already has the hole.
Exactly wat i was thinking...bthey did way more work than needed
I'm not even through the middle of the video, and I'm so frustrated
Thx a lot ❤️💕
