Jagjit singh's ghazals appear easy on the face of it, but they are incredibly tough to sing. So far, I had only been disappointed by the covers sung by different artists, but this duo has done remarkably well. Thank you for keeping the maestro Alive !

Fariha is Pakistan's gift to ghazal lovers everywhere. Both ghazals were simply amazing and very lovely. What a fantastic audience. I would also like to recognize her magnificent band. The tabla and violin players took my breath away. I would love to know where I can buy her ghazal CDs here in the United States. What a voice. It's like opium to ghazal lovers.

What a great gazal singer out of India. This was the first song I remembered him in the west indies. Great duet out of Pakistan like the original Jagit and chiara singh.

@@mindcalmasmr6924 Both Pakistan and India had female heads of state (Benazir Bhutto and Indira Gandhi) both were assassinated unfortunately. Several male heads of state were also assassinated in both countries. Regardless, the problem is not as simple as replacing the people in power. It's deep rooted based on hundreds of years of European colonialism. Other former colonies in Africa and elsewhere have sectarianism as well. Once hatred is embedded, it's difficult to get rid of. It will take a new generation.

There were three events in my life that upset me hurt me and and saddened so much so that it will stay with me for ever. 9/11 Challenger disaster and death of Jagjit singh. I will miss Jagjit for ever. May you rest in peace.
