I was raised in a devout Irish Catholic family and guilt was a huge mechanism of control. You’re kids are lucky to have you, and you them. Your honesty and integrity are impressive, and SIX?! You look fabulous! ❤️😂
Great point at the end about the church making a statement about this show, but not about fringe groups with dangerous beliefs that have led to murder.
Oh my gosh. More people need to hear this about the development of the inner voice. A lot of people have zero understanding of the differences between adults and children-cognitively and emotionally.
Hey, I just wanted to point out that the Proclamation actually came out in 1995, not during the 2000s. I left in 2003 (during college), and I remember a Young Women's activity when the Proclamation first came out where we were each given a copy of it and an acrylic picture frame, and we could decorate the frame. I also mostly grew up outside the Mormidor (Texas, to be exact, near the McKinney/Fairview area to be even more exact), and yes, it is A LOT different from growing up in Utah. Sure, we lived in Utah for about 3 years when I was a kid, but all of my adolescence was spent in Texas. I think there's more pressure to live the Gospel when you're living "in the mission field."

Great video Megan. I’m not going to watch it so I appreciate being able to get the 411 from you.
Glad to be of service!
The church judges, for sure.
