I recently started my worm cafe and this video has been immensely informative. You answered my questions on how to feed, how to water, how worms migrate, etc, in one swoop! Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us. I have only just started with my Worm Café and your videos will help me from the start. i am from Melbourne Australia and the frozen bottle will be great when its over 40oC in Summer. Thank you so much.
Finally! A video that explain WHAT and WHY in a worm farm! Thank you for this video. I'm a nube with no farm yet but want one for the wonderful castings.
Fantastic. You are a great teacher. Thank you for this clear and precise video and the others you made in this series too. You have de-mistyfied the whole process.
Very well explained. I’ve just ordered a wormcafe in Germany 🇩🇪. I tried worm composting in one of my bigger compost bins and it also worked well even over winter but wanted to increase my yield by this tower now.
Great tips thanx. I live in jeddah where the temperature goes up to 50 celcius in summer . My worms started getting out of the bin through the tiny ventilation holes and died although they were in a shaded area. So i had to bring them in to my living room where the AC is on most of the day. So yr tip of adding the water bottle on top is a life saver for me. Thanx
Thank you for the very simple but informative video! You explained things so easily even a child would understand. Answered all of my questions. Just set mine up today and I wasn’t sure I had done it properly
Hi Bernie, I'm glad to see you started a RUclips channel. I've had my Pot-O-Worms since July of 2009 when you and Carl got me started off right. BTW, I started a RUclips channel last year. Peggy Helbling's Garden What You've Got. Garden tips and worms 🪱 I love watching your enthusiasm and I know you just held an educational day last weekend. I hope it was a success. I just subscribed to your channel 👍
So I just got a "Worm Cafe" to save the planet and blah blah blah. Knowing nothing about worm farms, I found this lovely Florida-lady's instructional video on how to use it. Now, instead of wanting great compost, I just want to be as enthusiastic and have as much love for ANYTHING in this world as this woman does her worms. God bless your presumably cruelty-free cotton socks, Wanda the Worm Woman. I hope your babies are flourishing.
Very well presented I just got my first worm cafe' set it up the way I tough it should be set up I only purchased 250 worms to start not knowing I should have started with 1,000. I have an friend that has an organic farm and also has a large commercial business of formulating organic fertilizers so I will go and dig in their manure pile and bump my worm cafe; to 1,000 worms. Thank you for your video I believe it is your website link above so I will check it out.. I live in Canada
Way too much moisture. I am getting mites and fruit flies now due to this, or so I have been told. Or, am I not putting in enough moisture? Does drowning it with a lot of water help get rid of the mites and flies?
Have a simple question. How do you determine a tray is full? Is it to the top? Or is it when you put the next tray on it just touches the top of the compost in the tray below?
Lol there is so much anthropomorphism in this worm video that I can’t even watch it...it’s nice people are excited about their worm farms, but goddam, lmao.....
I agree this is the first video that actually explains exactly what you need to do to work the farm.....excuse me I have to run and shower my worms before feeding

Wow!!!Wealth of knowledge!!!!!!!Great to get students interested and start young and understand about organic.
Thank you. I will buy this composter and use your advice.
Why not leave the bottom tray until no worms or eggs left only castings. Because all worms and hatchling have migrated up.
I learned many things from this video. Thank you!

Makes great sense to shower them ... in nature they would be regularly rained on to cleanse.
