Oh boy. The freshly fixed head, so close before the finish, and of course in the evening where all the parts stores might have shut down already. Glad you got it cobbled together and it held up
Sure do appreciate the EXTRA effort you and family put towards your videos to bring us the complete effort to keep running in the fields and on your farms. Would be so easy to just skip the camera and the audio that you bring to us. Thanks
Glad to see you git 2nd cutin done . I'm seeing this on 7,23,2024. Done with wheat for two weeks , blowing off combine, then wash !!! What a damn mess. Glad the chopper didn't run away!!! Have to be careful!!!! My father always said the faster I go the behind er I get¡!!!Glad your done with second cutn. That's the hillbilly version, of second cutting. And yes I'm a Michigan farmer. My advice to is have a drink 🍸, by God you earned it. Hoping to see wheat threshing. We are done 2 weeks ago around 100 bpa. Thanks ,looking for the next video!!!!
Hi Andy ! Good job everybody second cut is done in record time. Good job Mr.Andy ! Thanks Andy for your time and everybody have a good day at the farm ! 💖🙋♂️
Are you sure you haven't missed any fields? 🤠 We finally got to hear the end of the "Runaway Chopper Saga". It was frustrating because you started to tell then the head broke down, that was fixed and you started again and the live stream stopped!! Thanks Andy.
Hi from oz andi. Having spent over 30 years as a hay contractor CHAIN IS CHEAP. Keep.boxes of size chain used on front ready cut to size in service truck. Once a chain breaks scrap it. Because it will happen again. What was the REAL cost of that chain "repair"
I'll never forget about 50 years ago when I was a kid and the sound would go out the TV guy would order parts mean while he would bring a differant TV along without a picture and set on top and we would watch one and listen to the other.
damn chains cost so much you have to get all the life you can out of them i mow about 12 to 20 acres a week with a finish mower and the damn belt is like 97 bucks for it i want all the life i can get out that damned belt
Like belts that I got from a box store and didn't last, (for a lawn tractor) when I got them from Deere they are suppose to be better. Do you get run of the mill chain, or OEM from Deere?
When you indicated "could have ended badly". . . Have you ever suffered from a " Gamble And LOSE ".? What was the most inopportune time and location of the G and L? I would think that as a result. Perhaps you could do a multi part series . . . GAMBLE AND LOSE and take video input from viewers
Andy, is there anyone in the family that works on the farm that keeps up with milk production and makes adjustments to the feed to maximize butter fat in the milk?
I'm betting that someone is the Dairy Manager. Whether it's a family member or an employee, it takes a dedicated person to ride herd on the herd. I've visited larger operations, and they have on site nutritionist, and several Herdsmen, all under the Manager. I would expect Andy to have both a Manager and a herdsman, and not be surprised if they aren't family members.
I would just go buy a new Chopper every time the chain broke.... of course I'd be broke just buying fuel for 1 day...I might make 2 days but the cats would have to ration out, and I'd be eating Silers Pinto Beans and water no cornbread...it's all about the cornbread and Corn Pop, leg hair in my bean soup, I hit him with a header chain
look like you neeed to spend 1/2 day more on header and replaced chain's and sprokes. i always replaced the master links on the chaines in the headers on all pickers . EVERY SUMMER when I rebulit the headers
Cool seeing Jared sporting a Duffy AG shirt! It's awesome to see farmtubers supporting each other wearing each others apparel.
😂💀
you mean doofus ag

Your videos sure bring me a lot of enjoyment. I watch them all. I’ve learned a lot from you to.
That's why I think your videos are awesome. Family focus. American. Thanks Andy and family. Florida Joe
I like your show just keep doing what you doing
Thanks for the entertainment Andy have a good day.
I’ve have heard so many stories about machines left running un attended and moving on their own.
Great video Andy!! I always look forward to seeing a new video from you.
Probably the magnetic forces from the power lines that caused the problems with the chain! LOL!!
I bought 8 containers of Tub O Towels. They pretty much clean anything. Been using them for years.
Hi Andy !
Good job everybody second cut is done in record time.
Good job Mr.Andy !
Thanks Andy for your time and everybody have a good day at the farm ! 💖🙋♂️
Thank you for another Great video. Cheers
Always something going on at the operation.

Jarod rocking Duffy Ag. 👍🇺🇸🇮🇪

Ikr, it was killing me not hearing the end of that story. 😂
Nice Duffy ag shirt Jerod
indelable marker pin..i always draw a diagram of belts and chains usually on the guard..saves alot of frustration when they break or snap! Cj UK..

Andy. Some days are just head- aches.
Another great video andy

For as much as you have used the chopper, it"s still a low hour machine.
Its farming. EVERYTHING wears out.
It almost got Western Andy!
i knew when you said it been good we havnt had a single break down uggggg hard to get good help
Always a great video
If your at the hill farm, that one field is quite steep… glad you haven’t lost a truck yet…

Those guys don't much about farming. Breakdowns are just part of farming no matter how much money you seem to spend.
We just finish 1st cutting n baling hay on Friday in MN
Same here in western Wisconsin
👍🏿👍🏿
I’m glad Jarrod had him metric plier!
Tks for sharing. Yes you was still Live. How do you feel now that 2nd cutting is doing? Hope 3rd goes smoothly too.
If you can get both ends of the chain onto a sprocket they will be held so that it is much easier to get the master link in..
Need a chain stretcher

Buying chain nowadays is a crap shoot. There is good stuff out there.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Leg hair, cornpop, and new chopper! 👍👍
Your Awesome
There’s always those idiots who think they know better….
You must have somewhere in the area 2000 Plus acres of hay ground in my estate. And you call yourself small!!! 🤣
Get to the Chahpuh!!
👍👍👍👍🇺🇸
Why did you buy a ROC? Was it a good decision?
Andy, I think that the bottomchain tensioner is on the wrong site of the chain, it’s now tensioning the chain on the pulled site..
11,000 views and about 2,000 👍?
How is the skid steer tread tires holding up on freight liner ? Very curious if I should start to recap with the same tread?
Does the machine know you put 8 to 10 rows into one when it measures the weight on the screen?
You don’t have to prove to me that you actually finished. I’ve been through those predicaments myself.
Great vid Andy, why do you call him sarge ? 😅
look like you neeed to spend 1/2 day more on header and replaced chain's and sprokes. i always replaced the master links on the chaines in the headers on all pickers . EVERY SUMMER when I rebulit the headers
We only replaced chains when they were worn-out! Sometimes, we had to take 4 links out because we ran out of room to adjust them.
👍👍yep, done the same thing!
Hard on sprockets when u do that
So tell me when they are going to built-in auto blow off on those machines that need to be done after each day field work ?
Wear your Primus shirt more Jerod!
Looks like you guys need a little hair around the hole 😮😅😊
👍
That long way to get Hay Andy
🦅🇺🇸🤙
You are still alive
Andy, junior is growing up fast. One wouldn't think that dry hay can gum things up but it does. Glad you were able to the chopper cleaned out.
