If you withdraw from counseling in CCMT, then u will get a refund. Please watch video completely. I explained clearly about refund policy.
Sir, i got a seat in round 1, and chose surrender and participate in next round. Then in further rounds i didn't get any seats. The withdrawal option wasn't available in 3rd round. It showed your alloted seat is not confirmed yet. Will I get the SAF amount back?
@@maddy_2102 if you are not allotted any seat, then ur amount will be definitely refunded. It depends on whether you participate in special round or not.

Sir I have got score 450 in Gen category and I got seat in round 2 in IIIT Kurnool which I have not taken and now would like to participate in Special rounds. I need to pay Rs. 45000/- for spl round registration and patricipation fee. if I paid Rs.45000/- and not getting any desired course and college in the spl rounds, will I able to get refund of Rs. 43000/- ie after deduction of Rs.2000/-

Hello sir, I had Paid SAF in round 1 and then had got admission in IIT after two weeks, but I forgot to manually withdraw the Offer which I got in CCMT after the conclusion of round 3, and sir i did'nt either paid the Partial Admission fee too, will i be able to get the refund of the SAF??
@@kyoukai_no_kanata it is actually against the rule that it is mentioned that if you are inactive and left councelling in between, CCMT is not responsible for ur activity and fee will not be refunded. Better contact help desk of CCMT and also let me know what it is showing if you login.

(d) After depositing the SAF in Regular Rounds, and successful online document
verification during any of the CCMT rounds, the candidate does not pay partial
admission fee on the CCMT portal.
(e) After depositing the SAF and PAF, if the candidate withdraws at the end of Regular
Rounds.

In all above cases i.e. (a) to (e), the seat will be cancelled and the SAF and/or PAF
will be refunded after deducting processing fee of Rs. 2000/-. Refund to
candidates falling in above category (a) to (e) will only be made if they do not
participate in Special Rounds and/or NSR. In case such candidates register for
Special Rounds / NSR by paying a non-refundable registration fee, the full amount
of fees excluding the registration fees will be adjusted in the Participation Fee.

I got into NIT in the second round of admissions. I opted for a higher choice in the third round but did not get it. Currently, I have accepted the option to participate in the special round. I have already paid the SAF of 30,000 and the registration fee of 3,500. To participate in the special round, I need to pay an additional 13,500. I am wondering if there is a way to avoid participating in the special round and get a refund of the SAF amount, as I am now planning to pursue my master's abroad.

@@ponravim1509 there is no procedure mentioned in information brochure, if you withdraw from counseling. Then mostly amount will credit into ur account in which u have paid before.
.2 Rules for Refund of Seat Acceptance Fee Paid in Regular Rounds
(a) After depositing the SAF in Regular Rounds:
(i) if the candidate does not upload the required documents, or
(ii) if discrepancy is found during document verification at any stage (online or during
physical reporting), or
(iii) after successful online document verification in RR-1 or RR-2 OR first time seat
allotment in RR-3, the candidate did not report physically at the allotted Institute
In all such cases, the seat will be cancelled and the SAF will be refunded after deducting
processing fee of Rs. 1000/-.
(b) After depositing the SAF in Regular Rounds and successful document verification, if the
candidate selects the option “Surrender and Participate in Next Round” and no seat is
allotted in subsequent Rounds and the candidate does not participate in Special Rounds,
the SAF will be refunded after deducting processing fee of Rs. 1000/-
(c) After depositing the SAF in Regular Rounds, if the candidate withdraws in RR-1 orRR-2,
the SAF will be refunded after deducting processing fee of Rs. 1000
(d) After depositing the SAF in Regular Rounds, if the candidate withdraws after physical
reporting at the allotted institute in RR-3, the SAF will be refunded after deducting
processing fee of Rs. 2000/-.
(e) After depositing the SAF in Regular Rounds and successful document verification, during
physical reporting at the allotted institute after RR-3 allotment, if the candidate has given
option for participating in Special Rounds (by submitting an affidavit in the required
format) and then (s)he does not register for Special Rounds, SAF will be refunded after
deducting processing fee of Rs. 2,000/-
