Buzzards are the birds, they have that call.

Simply awesome!
Definitely the best views l I've seen from your videos, keep up the great work.
I'm sure I'm saying this for other followers, you are a part of our lives. Thats what it feels like to me. Loved the photo with the messy gully in the foreground and those sunbeams were gorgeous. Keep it up Henry.
Great work Henry, I was following this adventure on Google maps and looking at all of the amazing landscapes you were hiking through around the Lake District. What a lucky fellow you are.
Great pics again Henry. Thanks. Enjoying your vlogs. There was a Buzzard calling in the background when you asked what bird it might be?
Think you’re correct!!
Thanks for sharing Henry..... amazing and interesting images....you find such beautiful locations.... cheers from Australia 😀
Stunning photos mate ! really enjoyed the video thank you

Fantastic as always Henry!
Oh WoW, this views Henry, to die for, I wish I could get up there mate.
Your videos are so inspiring Henry, maybe due to the fact you put so much emotion into them. Fab video. Cheers Pal 😀
Buzzards. I recognize the call
Beautiful picture's
Thank you Henry for the joy and passion you bring to your videos. I love how you’re so grateful that you get to be a photographer for a living. It is wonderful to have a job you enjoy and even more wonderful to be able to share it with your followers. Amazing images but I got a bit scared to see you on such a high vantage point. Great images as always. Thank you again.
I loved that grey cloud formation pointing inwards towards the setting sun right at the end but, as you said, maybe there wasn't a composition to be had
Thanks Henry. Loved the images and you can't beat your enthusiasm.
Hey Henners…great video and pics as always. I heard buzzards as you were speaking.
Henery you're such a Crack up enthusiasm is quit contagious you have the best job in the world to have the freedom to do all that you do and then post it on RUclips. Need to know whats is your tripod model and make and is it heavy to carry around. James from Oklahoma
Now then me owd mucka, as they say where I'm from! The thing is, yes, you're very grateful that we tune in and watch your videos each week and buy your products etc etc, but look at it this way, without you making these videos, quite a number of us, myself included, would never get to see these amazing places that you show us in your videos. I myself, as I think I've mentioned before, am a wheelchair user. There is no way on God's great earth I would ever be able to hike up the fells to take the photographs you take. So the thanks, my friend, should go to you I think. They were Buzzards, by the way. Whenever you hear that high pitched "Mee uwww!" like that it's a Buzzard.
Cheers Ash, Black Country is it?! Really appreciate your kind words and thanks regarding the buzzards, they definitely have a distinctive call.
@@HenryTurnerphoto Nah, mate. Wrong side. I'm from the East Midlands not the West! Nice try though. I'm actually from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire,
Henry, I think you have made the mistake that I did. You went to the highest point on Rosthwaite Fell which I did but Wainwright classes Bessyboot as the summit which is south of Tarn at Leaves (I honestly thought it was Tarn of Leaves). It is a stunning place though and you captured some great images. I manages to get a good one of Tarn at Leaves with the glow of sunset.
Love you videos, they are a real tonic.
Fantastic images Henry, looked a good hike! What more could viewers want, great outdoor adventures, learning about landscape photography and Henry's infectious personality and passion! Keep up the brilliant work and the future is bright 📸🙂
Stunning photos Henry!
Just stunning!💙
Nice one yet again. Thanks!
fabulous video mate
Ahh man Henry , this sickens me to my stomach, Im sat here jealous as owt 😁, love love love the lakes, it’s one of them places where you could go for a million different treks and come up with a different view each time, this place calms my mind and soul and watching you do what you do puts a stupid grin on my face 👍
Superb day out, great video again Henry
Very, very nice, Henry.👍
This video is definitely amongst your best work Henry. As Gavin Hardcastle would say, "magnifique"!
The scenery in the video like your pics is amazing, well done and thankyou it's an inspiration
Love the layers on the pano shot Henry. Rossthwaite Fell, now added to my growing Lake District list!!
Your enthusiasm is infectious, we should be thanking you for sharing your joy when in the field with a camera. Thanks Henry.
Brilliant stuff Henry. What's to say that hasn't already been said - a beautiful evening and you convey everything so eloquently and with such passion. Loved the final pano image!! Keep up the great work. :-)
Great video and some really inspiring images. Encourages me and, I am sure, many others to get out there. Thanks, Henry.
Stunning!
Thank you! 😊
Hi Henry. WOW the view the landscape and photos Brilliant and to cap it all off with the drone shots. I felt I was there with you thanks for taking me on a journey. I really must visit again. 👍
Pure CLASS yet again Henry, thanks for another superb thursday interlude
Top video as ever. Love your enthusiasm. You always inspire me when I'm not feeling motivated with my own photography 👍👍👍
I am new to your channel Henry and just loving your total enthusiasm and passion for life and photography. An inspiration for my own efforts at capturing special places in New Zealand. Keep them coming. I am addicted!
Just caught up with this video today Henry.
What a day out you had there with some great shots, the 2nd shot with sun glowing on hillside was brilliant,
You deserve all the great comments here, its a pleasure and a treat to see these videos from you, always an inspiration and first class.
You are living the dream and long may it continue.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better...those spectacular views went beyond expectation! What a blessing!
Another great video Henry! Glad to see you enjoying yourself, it inspires me to get out and do the same every Sunday!
It is a pleasure to watch your vlogs Henry. The enthusiasm is just contagious and makes me feel excited to shoot a bit more. Thank you for sharing these and always brilliant photos. The light on this one was just amazing.
Thanks for sharing! Sharing your pictures tips etc but more important for me is how you give us your energy your feelings to create a photography so thanks a lot.
Thanks Henry for the inspiring videos. This week I travelled from Dunstable (close to London) to the Lakes just to enjoy this beauty. I used as a guidance your article from your website best locations in Lake District. Today I hiked holme fell and it is a cracking location and managed to get some decent shots. Keep it up mate. 👌
wonderful images Henry, looked a cracking day to be out on the fells
Thanks as ever mate, yes it was a special one that's for sure 🍻
The layers of yellow light was something else.
From what I could hear on my phone (I'm at the mother in laws) was the cry of a Buzzard. Plenty of them in Snowdonia.
Great video mate.
Once again loving the video and the pictures! Especially the last picture and also the one at 8:35!
Henry
You and your videos and always an inspiration. Keep up the good work.
Neil
Great shots, tips and advice Henry..I have followed your RUclips channel for a few years now. Your progress as a photographer and videographer has come on in leaps and bounds imo...keep up the good work !!
What a day, what scenes, stunning images Henry from a beautiful location.
Your day just kept on giving unbelievable conditions.
Cheers Richie!
@@HenryTurnerphoto Welcome
Henry, I have got to say your enthusiasm is infectious !! I was shouting at the video take that shot there, two seconds later you take the photo!! Wonderful mate, thank you so much for your very welcome videos. All the best Graham 🇬🇧🇬🇧📸👍👍
You say thank you to us but some of us have to say thank you straight back. Photographers like yourself and Alyn Wallace are inspirational to all of us including myself who are keeping the dream of quitting the daily grind and following something we love. Whenever I get down in the dumps I watch one of your videos and it’s perks me up and shows me that I will get there if I continue to work. Looking forward to adventures in the van
Every Friday morning I watch your videos, they are a perfect start to my day Henry. Always without fail you make me smile, (that sounds a bit creepy lol)
Thank you 👍
Henry i am incredibly thankful/grateful for your infectious enthusiasm and all those pointers as to how we may also become more proficient in our chosen hobby.
Not so keen on your first image, i found the branches mislead my eye.. your 2nd image is to die for and is my favourite image of the video.. thank you Henry, a splendid day out.. 😊
Hi Henry: I really enjoyed this video. The images that you have shared are stunning. We are coming to the Lake District for 7-days in early June so the count-down is on. We can't wait. It has been a very long, cold and gloomy winter in Ontario. Keep well. . . . Keith Pinn (Barrie, Ontario)
Always a joy to watch, your genuine enthusiasm for what you do, it's so infectious. Also the beard is growing out nicely, not quite the full Canadian yet!
Hi Henry, GLORIOUS, absolutely GLORIOUS, and certainly another grand day out . Thanks for sharing. Interesting choice of square crop for that first image to guide the eye, nice touch there. Really nice to see you capture all the layers in the other images, staying at a fairly short focal length so as to avoid compression between layers. Really great video Henry, really enjoyed this one .. in case you hadn't noticed by now ;-)
Many thanks
6:36 a face on de left side in the screen. Look at the tree.
I love your videos Henry the video footage from about 8.17 with that beautiful sky is awesome but it was lost in the photos? what's wrong with blue skies?
You give us so much more each video Henry, if you could bottle enthusiasm you'd be the richest man on the planet mate. The images are just stunning and the drone footage is great.
Thanks a lot Ian
Really must get your time management sorted Henry, it’s just not good enough 😎
On the up side, you were certainly spoiled for choices on what to point a lens at.
Thanks for sharing again Henry.
Stay safe 🇦🇺 41/214
Thanks John!!
@@HenryTurnerphoto your welcome, looking forward to seeing your next adventure. 👍
Nice one again Henry, your initial pic with trees and mountain top - I have tried this and just came out average, yet you knock it out every time? Bird calling out, sounded like a buzzard 2 me? Have you ever considered getting a pair of hiking poles ??? I have scoffed at the idea for (toooo long to remember) quite a while. Tried them out on my last hike and WOW, no knee issues. You need to protect your young joints. Good stuff here again….thank you
Thanks mate, I do have hiking poles but never seem to use them for some reason
@@HenryTurnerphoto carrying a heavy camera packed back pack with tripod, food etc. Poles really DO spread the load ~ worth a trial with them, initially they felt a real faf; but I’m truly amazed with their effectiveness . The other photos were also quality…
Cracking pictures tonight pitty you never made it to the top off that hill for the golden hour
Beautiful scenery for sure Henry! Surely the skies must be dark and gorgeous when the sun goes down. On your hike back to the van do you ever stop to point your camera up to take night sky shots? Or perhaps, a composite of two photos; one exposed for foreground and one for night sky especially with a moonless sky. All fairly wide of course not to necessitate using a tracker. Just wondering if you’d give that a try from one of these beautiful locations.
Never do night shots mate, but probably should!
Seeing you use a d7200, have you ever compared a Pentax k70 to it
The trees give a " black lightening " appearence
