- I used to sing this song as a joke to one of my exes every time one of us was going away for travel/work. Then it slowly became me singing it any time they left for the shop, to put something on the bins outside, or even just left the room haha I started performing it on my online shows recently and it went down a treat! I didn’t have much time to properly learn it but hey, let’s just have a busk!

The original version of this song was a special connection my daughter and I had when she was a little girl. She's gone now and father's day is always hard. I came across your beautiful, heartfelt and amazing rendition, with tears in my eyes I watch and remember the good times with my daughter. Thank you.

One of my favorite songs from the first time I heard it. Thank you for doing a straight cover. I love your covers with your twists and style to them but some songs, like this one, are perfect. Thank you for respecting the song and its fans like me. Your voice adds a haunting element to it which does give it a different feel. Sadness and longing and the memories people share. That's what I've always felt this song relays and it's a timeless message.
