Another nice long video of magnet fishing, cleaning up the canals. Thank you both! Great idea dedicating the throw for the young boy. Hope he recovers quickly! Also hope Dennis's hand heals up quick. That 5th bike might need a new front rim. /snicker The 6th bike had some kind of bag full of water hanging off it at first. Thank goodness it fell off.

Have you ever thought of getting hold of one of those giant crane magnets from a scrap yard and see how much you can get out of the canal in one go.
I dream about it every night 👍😂
They are electromagnets, you need a lot of power and they are incredibility heavy. Would be near impossible to move around without a vehicle/crane.
This docks is one my favorite places to just chill down in amsterdam, next to the park, tripple intersection canal infront, just slightly away from the crowd. catching the sun on prime hours. Good spot

I don't think it's a bracelet. You put this around your trouser leg if you don't have a chain guard on your bike, so that you don't get grease / oil from the chain on your pants. often used by cyclists.

Glad you didn't fall in. Next time use one of your feet to hook the lower railings and lean back against the railing. It's safer and easier.

My dad drilled a hole in the center of a speaker magnet and tied a rope on a nail that went thru it. I had some great magnet fishing times with that. But I'm only 32 haha not that old.

Need one of those magnets that lift cars into the crusher. Park the crane with magnet on bridge, drop magnet in water, and see how many bikes it can grab in one shot.
You need to drag your magnet very close to the wall. When you had a bunch of coins the other day some dropped off into the water.
