- I go for the platinum trophy in Elden Ring to get prepared for shadow of the erdtree! This is my first souls platinum. It was torture to achieve every trophy. Elden Ring's platinum destroyed my soul.

While it was difficult, getting all the achievements in this game was genuinely so enjoyable and I wish I could play it again for the first time

Man tell me about I played this game with one of my best homies but we stopped talking over some beef with my brother and I still think about playing this game with him for the first time.

This was my first ever Souls-game experience and I would literally give anything to experience it for the first time again. It's huge success should guarantee a sequel.
They definitely should do a sequel or something like this, 10/10 game imo.

dawg play dark souls 3, the game is beyond memorable in my head and the bosses are SO much more unique. if you want a new experience play it, you'll feel lost and confused just as you were throughout this entire game lol
One of the only platinums I wasn’t upset about getting. Took me 200 hours and I loved every second, I took my sweet ass time.

Honestly platinum for Elden Ring is much easier than some of the other titles. My main example is going to DS3, and the trophy for all rings, which included the +1 and +2 versions, and some of them were locked behind covenants like the Darkmoon ring and Wolf ring. That was a mad pain after the game slowed in popularity and regular online players.
Covenants seem tough but I’m excited to try other souls games in the future.
@Ryspawn. Nowadays it's a time consumption matter, as you will be farming for the materials instead of actually participating in online play. The drop rates (without spoiling what your farming or what your farming for) are repulsively low.
I agree. Of all From Software titles, Elden Ring is the easiest one in terms of platinum trophy and gameplay as well. I found it way easier than Dark Souls 3. Elden Ring was more enjoyable though but I wished for it to be a little more challenging.

this was my 2nd plat I ever did, it was pretty hard and I was questioning my sanity at multiple parts and gave up on this game so many times throughout my run. I only ever cheesed one boss and it was the final boss because I was drained and wanted the plat to end lol. Good vid!

Congrats! I love how rewarding the combat in Soulsborne games are (even though I'm 🚮at them!). Would love to see you tackle another Soulsborne like Sekiro.
Who else remembers the deadly sin and guardian shield combo that let you shoot holy bullets while defending yourself. Got through the game too quick with it. I platinumed the game in like a month.

Never had gotten platinum on any of the darksouls games but decided to get it in Elden Ring ngl it felt amazing to get it.
This platinum was my first ever platinum, and the trophys were simple and easy but hard too, mainly just boss trophys compared to other games where you have to do alot of extra stuff. i played like a total of 300 hours on ps4 and ps5, for many it might not seem like alot of time but for me its alot. Any game i put more than 50 hours in means i loved it.
I got the platinum in 74 hours not 300 and I didn’t glitch it I did Melania after over 50+ tries and played the game three times to get each ending I didn’t save before radagon

Got the platinum before all the nerfs. I had the absolute best Malenia RNG ever, she didn't pull her dance attack once so the fight was pretty easy. Got it on my first try

You are not supposed to fight him as soon as you arrive in limgrave. Get your horse, some level, and maybe upgrade your weapon, and it will be significantly easier

The game has propably been patched a thousand times since then. But when I played this game, dragon spells and arcane builds were OP. I breezed trough the game with 2 katanas, dragon spells, bloodhound step and mimic tear. Props for playing the whole game without mimic tear😅
Once you learn that instead of dodging sideways or back you should roll forward and use the Iframes for most attacks it makes the game much easier
realized this during renalla and it saved my life lol

I think it's more of an "into attacks" rather than just "forward" for example a spell you want to roll straight into, same as an attack from Margit coming from the right will have you also dodging right. The goal is to not end your roll whilst still being inside a hurtbox.

Excellent work! I skipped around through the vid and transcript, and saw where you mentioned you weren't going to summon any more players. I didn't catch if you had specifically decided not to use Spirit Ashes? If you're purely trying to get the platinum, without necessarily going 1v1 against every boss, the Ashes can be really helpful. Black Knife Tiche in particular is known for being helpful against Malenia, which I found to be the case on my own (recently completed) platinum journey.
I just wanted to try and 1v1 every boss with no summons on my platinum journey
I died I think over 20 times to Maliketh until I decided to take a 3 week break. I came back and stormed through him first time. So strange.

@@Ryspawn. I noticed you don't have many RPGs in your platinum runs. Do you avoid RPGs because of the huge amount of trophies they require or just not like RPGs? Some games I would like to see (some RPGs some not) NiNoKuni, Dragon Quest XI, any of the Batman Arkham games.
I just haven’t gotten around to playing them yet. I’ll try some more rpg games in the future!

Elden Ring is my first platinum trophy and I got it almost accidentally, on my third playthrough had to google one legendary amulet, one weapon, one hidden boss and how to get madness ending and it was done! easy platinum gg!

i got all trophies in my first palythrough which im still in. except the diffrent ending ones (frenzied flame and age of stars). but i had more of a struggle with other fromsoft games like bloodborne to get the platinum trophy
Ngl it took me only 50 hours for this plat. after taking 300+ hours for the dark souls 3 Plat I honestly thought this one would be a lot harder

after i got the plat for elden ring i realized it isnt that bad. Some require tough boss fights but the biggest hurdle is just playing the game 3 times.

I’ve actually beat all the boss trophies so far k got like 4 or 5 more trophies till platinum I’ll finish it by the end of the week hopefully

I got platinum w long time ago but for some reason I struggle with the black blade more then any other boss
godskin duo was the hardest boss for me
I’m just kind of wondering how you got all three endings without beating malenia first. I’ve gotten the platinum for the game and I know from experience that if you do the requirements for the ranni questline and the lord of frenzied flame endings then you have to complete millicents quest. Which will have you beating malenia and getting miquellas golden needle to activate the last ending. Could you explain?
I did Rannis quest first, then I used the cloud save and picked the regular ending. Then finally did the frenzied flame quest which made it so I didn’t have to kill Malenia to undo the frenzied flame.
