I have the 310 VZ2 fitted with Goodyear tyres, totally different car in so many other areas than the company car option you are testing.
WHY even bother posting that you utter Twonk!
Oh I've got an Aston Martin DB9
It's completely different to the car you are talking about here.
See how fecking stupid your post is? Knob.
It actually says Formentor in the rear lights ..
Ah, thanks. I didn't look hard enough!! Very subtle branding.
Driven 5000 miles in mine. Only 38mpg. Style over substance. The worst of both worlds. Useless battery range, useless petrol range. If false plastic moulded exhausts impress you, you deserve this.
A good, unbiased review. Unfortunately it's a boring car/suv.
The top of the range normal leon cupra, effectively a golfR is likely very good, but I despise the current Leon's looks! The Spanish flair is no longer!😔
I owned a seat Leon cupra R 265 2011. Yellow with black wheels and accents. Check out the looks online! Imo, stunning looking and the insects thought so too!
Brilliant VAG engine, effectively the scirocco R platform.
Unfortunately also the VAG vague steering/too light and little feel.
I also don't get hybrid that need charging. Plenty self charge, if one is going to charge it would arguably be better as fully ELECTRIC. Sorry, I just swore😉 lol.....
Another fwd that can't put the power down, likely a combination of pants tyres and poor R and D.
My previous i30N performance pack was the same as soon as it was wet, damp, cold and greasy.
One final point. All new VAG cars with dsg effectively have that small knob/nib that reminds me of a protruding clitoris!
Very apt for VAG I guess 😉👍
Keep em Cumming!!😂
Thanks James! It does do the boring stuff very well, to give it its dues. I neglected to mention the tyres - Bridgestone Turanzas. They're perhaps unsuited to what this car offers. A different beast entirely, but I found a similar issue with the Pirellis on the Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio in similar atmospheric conditions. You expect it more in the performance category, though. I strongly suspect that they built the e-hybrid based on commercial imperatives and that the 4Drive 310 Formentor is where it's at in this range. Agree about this charging, it does seem to present a 'worst of both' scenario, although you can charge the battery off the engine. Although, that seems somewhat wasteful when the aim is, apparently, frugality. Definitely more clarity with ICE or straight up electric. No comment on the gear selector!!!
@@MilesAheadMotoring Lol.... Yes, that particular tyre is very average and I wasn't impressed with pzeros either!👍
