Question for Tommy: are you tracking on the spec mx5 17x8 wheel with 225/45 or did you swap to a 17x9 wheel? and if youre running the 17x8 how are you liking it or do you wish you were running 17x9? thanks! great driving!
Hey! I’m still tracking on the spec mx5 17x8 wheels with 225/45. I really like it because I think it’s the appropriate amount of tire for the car. The overall steering feel is better (less numb) and car is a bit more agile with 225/45. It’s probably not gonna be as fast as 17x9 with 245 or 255 wide tires but I think I prefer the feel of the 17x8 and skinnier tire. Hope this helps!
