Love the earrings! I was pouting because I did not have enough materials to make the matching bracelet--then, "yahoo", you showed us how to make these earrings!! So now, with the items I do have I am able to make these. Thank you so much.
These are so pretty! I used round opal 6mm, 4 mm Swarovski red pearls and green bicones, a gold accent seed bead with other silver seed beads. To make them longer, I added a 6mm siam dangle from the bottom point. Great Christmas earrings! I got the inner 4mm bicones a little too tight, as I was trying to hide the thread. I need to leave them a little looser so the shape is prettier. Thanks!
As I am learning from your most excellent teachings, I find that I am able to learn your techniques as I adjust the project to accommodate for my "learning" stash. Thank you! Blessings and Re Jouir -Darlene
Dar Smith yes, that’s great! When I was learning, I always adjusted the patterns to accommodate the beads I had in my stash. It’s a great way to begin learning to design also.
@@GGCBeginningbeaders Good morning! Thank you so much for your time! At 63, I have mostly been a squares and circles person. Designing seemed to exceed my capabilities! The 3 bracelets that I have made are all from your patterns, and I will always give you credit, as with any other. Our education comes at a price. Here on RUclips we are fortunate to be able to learn. Gratitude is required; as we gift forward the credit! With each of my projects I see the flaws - each had to be restarted at least once, and I will remake them as I buy more beads! Your standards for high quality are where we have set our own goals . As for designing, I hit a home run last week with the colors and a bead I used for a ring I made! The husband said he did not know I had it in me! I got lucky - the focal bead was a free-bee! This morning I am watching your tutorial titled "Flat Herringbone Stitch Bracelet Tutorial". I encourage all new beaders to simply go with what you have, and learn the stitches you are teaching us! Ms. Gina, you are correct, having to adjust for the available colors truly does help with learning how to design! Thank you, again, for your time and efforts. Blessings and Re Jouir -Darlene
Dar Smith I saw your reply. Thank you for taking the time to write to me, I enjoyed reading it. I hope you continue making jewelry, it’s an addictive hobby, but so much fun. Keep it up and you will be designing in no time.
Thank you for the great tutorial again! Can I make the scale smaller? I’m petite and I would like to make the earrings center part smaller in scale. What do you recommend for using? If I use 3mm bicone blue crystals, should I use 5 mm round pearls and how many beads should I use to accommodate 3mm crystals to shape the center? Love your channel please keep it up! 💕
When I changed the middle seed bead (in tutorial starlight colour) from 11/0 to 8/0 I was able to go thru connection points so many times I wanted for reinforce rounds made with sharp bicones. Nice and easy tutorial, thank you!
Love the beautiful beading you do!!
Thank you! 😊
