Marvelous demo, thanks so much! The big difference with the other reviews is that most of the others are all the same. This review tells a lot about split with a bass on the left and a piano on the right, doubling the sound, etc. Really nice. Henk Netherlands
Why didn't they put in the latest digital sound engine Harmonic Imaging™ XL from the CA99? The keys are super, the analog sound reproduction as well. For that price it is a shame. It really looks great and feels great, but misses the latest harmonic imaging wideness Kawai has got. But they do not want to risk some sales loss of their Novus series?
That was awesome. I really want one. i hope making those sounds are not hard because i don't know how to do any of it. I play by ear. I have a grand piano and a keyboard. It would be nice to have 2 in 1.
I like your demos- you’re a fine pianist. But why do most of the demonstrators play pretty pop/classical, somnolent and/or schmalz for their demos. How about Gene Harris, funk, Richard Tee, Bruce Hornsby, Dr. John, etc.? Just curious. -:)
Thanks! Just checked the spec after reading your comment. Basically same key as es950 with same output but in a grand shell. At first I thought it was a CA level.
We ordered one recently but one of the keys was defective. No sound at the G7 key. The defect is so obvious and significant. How come it can’t be detected during the production stage? Is that reflecting the QC has a problem?
I have a question. Please tell me what sound you play to start this video. Title and Author please. I play that song but I need that information. Thank you.
I just got my DG30 and am having an issue. The thing wobbles like crazy. Depending on the intensity of the piece it can wobble a lot and be disruptive. Do you recall any wobble in the DG30?
Having a truly high quality furniture upgrade is exactly why the significant discrepancy in price. Two similar pieces of furniture can have a great difference in their price depending on the design and implementation of building them. There is more effort and expense to producing this cabinet as opposed to the vinyl covered CN39 with Masonite modesty panel.

Oh my! The Play It Today theme tune at the start, I started playing with the help of this course!! Lovely piano beautifully played.

When I heard Elton I screamed. I play him a lot so I know if I ever got this piano it would perfectly suit me. Kawai is king

You do excellent reviews! Thank you, from Texas!
Do these digital grands sound any different from a more typical console style digital piano cabinet? Or is the cabinet style purely for aesthetics?
Can you do a comparison of the DG30 vs NV10? thanks!
Fantastic Tony. Keep making content!

Gréat review! This man is a génius!
For people who don’t even bother checking this model online a bit, this is indeed a CN model with a grand piano shell.

Hello ! what is the title of the music you play around 3 minutes of the video

May I ask what song was being played at the start?
Kawai needs a DG90 to compete with Yamaha CLP-795
nice video...thank you :)
Can you make Yamaha CLP795 and this DG30 comparison video?
I would love that as well!
This is an equivalent of 765
@@Mr.Cedric7607 765 plastic keys; 795 wood keys, deep base, almost real piano sound. Kawai no comparison.
@@jjsc3334 Well, the Kawai N10S is the same price as the 795, but with real grand action and keys, not that full shape.
@@jjsc3334 cioè kawai è meglio di Yamaha 795?
compared to Yamaha CLP765GP, which one would you recommend?
Kawai, sound more natural and clear
Qui connait le morceau qui est joué à partir de la 3ème minute ?
Could this be used with logic pro?
Yes.
That's a lot of money for a CN39 in the cabinet of a small baby grand

Sorry when it comes to piano the word digital really puts me off, and the price is almost a baby grand. If not new, a refurbished can sound as great.
