    the power amp coloring have enormous impact for the tone! never realised that before....

    • @RobbieTayVaughan
      @RobbieTayVaughan 5 лет назад +1

      For real! I'm still leary of products like this cause I wish the coloring was actually a change in tamber and Chararcter not just tone shifts. Sounds like snipits of different eq settings rather than changing up the complete character of an amp, which is fair l. Id probably stick this between head and cab and play around with IRs, but do V30s or cream back, or hesu demon accept ir's the same or is just one more variable that can potentially lock you in or out? I apologize for blowing your videos up lately. Question, who could you say makes the sturdiest/heavy ABY boxes? Love most everything you do.

    • @lachimere1
      @lachimere1 3 года назад +1

      Robert Harling GasMule I have the pedal and I confirm that it not only chages the EQ, but also the compression and the responsiveness of the amp. I really like it with my real tube preamp, sounds better that the helix.

    Hola Ola. Just wanted to let you know Marshall Harrison uses one of your solar guitars. He is a one of a kind shredder that will melt your face off. This goes to show your guitars are used in many different ways and not just for death metal. A short video of different performers using your gear could lead to more sales. I will be buying a Solar with the whammy bar soon. Cheers from Northern Wisconsin !!

    I get it, digital technology can do so much, but I don't, for the life of me, know how. I was (ever so slightly) a modeler and solid state hater when I played through a tube amp for the first time after playing only SS for 14 years. Combos and a kustom 100 watt and 4x10 cab. Now I'm proud owner of 6505+ my first badass electric was an active schecter hellraiser. Man.... Stuff like this and the quilter 50watt tone tone block is all I need now haha. Ill use stuff like that for practice and back up and in another year catch up and actually use it for a dedicated rig. Guitar, 2 piece(as.not out of control as I can manage) pedal board for a dual rig rig will.save so much room and weight. Could prob get away with borrowing a cab most times, but can rely on others folks to have good gear or be in the sharing spirit. Thanks for your thoughtful and transparent gear tests. You've greatly informed some of my taste and ear for whats out there. Peace & Love

    NUX make great gear, best chinese pedal company bar none. I have their Mark Lee Davis bass preamp/di and it kills. Cannot be touched for the money, gives the Tonehammer and BDDI a run for their money, and really makes all other pedals sound great. Brings out the growl of my cort 5 string.

    Hello there Ola,
    Just an observation.
    So I'm looking at the two guitars S1.6ET LTD - LIME BURST MATTE and S1.6 LTD - BLUE BURST MATTE.
    Other than the 200€ price difference and colour their specs are exactly the same, on the solar guitars website at least.
    Both say evertune F-type bridge but in the picture it seems the S1.6 LTD - BLUE BURST MATTE has a hipshot bridge, not an evertune.
    I would be quite sad if that one comes with a hipshot bridge and not an evertune as the blue colour is far better looking than the green.
    Also this might create some problems of false advertising for you guys so... so how bout a special version at the same price as/discount on the normal version? for being so nice to point this out?
    :)
