I'd planned to head down by train into Boston, but because I'm an infant and cant interpret rail schedules, I failed, and basically managed to sit an hour in the cold and frustrate myself. So it was nice to see this. It reminds me to press on. Especially after Remembrance Day is the topic. It reminds me how important it is to bear witness to whatever comes your way. (Including pastries.)
I’ve watched a lot of your videos Mike and have enjoyed them and it’s getting me back into the hobby of photography again slowly but surely. Had to take some time off from it and unfortunately I had to sell my camera I had before but I just recently picked up the Canon R50 until I can afford something better although I might pick up a better lens for the R50.
I’m definitely a fair weathered photographer and it’s so very dull at the moment. Monochrome definitely kicks in this time of the year especially with long shadows. 100% get the MP I absolutely love mine!
Thanks for sharing a great video and you are so right before and after events usually create the best photo opportunities. I have a MP and highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.
Awesome vid!! Nice photos as well!! Mike, I see you put protective rings in addition to the strap. Do you think it might get scratches from the steel ring without them???
I find a digital and a film M is a nice way to go out and shoot. Try a Plustek 8200/8300ai scanner and Silverfast HDR software. It's a pretty decent set up for scanning 35mm film.
Nice vid very nice images. Thank you...........“The whole point of taking pictures is so that you don’t have to explain things with words.” - Elliott Erwitt 😎
Excuse me did you say you were rocking a 28mm? Haha finally. I thought you were a 35mm ride or die. I've been a 28/50 person since my Nikon days in the early 00s.
Yo bro, you should try out a digital camera and make some content with it. You could call the video "Film photographer tries digital camera." And also can try mobile photography!
Vibes on vibes
The mood throughout these shots is great! You really captured these scenes gorgeously Mike! 🤩
Glad you enjoyed it!
Immaculate vibes and pics, also that Lexar SSD phone rig is awesome
Thanks man! Yeah super handy

7:15 I can't be the only one who thinks the Carnaby Street lights are rubbish this year. They are usually the best ones in London.
