Sarah, so nice to see your sister in your videos, such a lovely young lady too. Her smile is so contagious, she must be just like you, an adventure. Thanks for this video, I loved it.
❤Yes, no doubt! ELIZA is in the house!!! Everybody please stand up!!!!❤ I first developed my crush on her when I saw her up a ladder hanging their sail shade while wearing overalls!! Hubba Hubba!! Wink wink!😅 I really am glad to see her back on the channel.
I’ve been a subscriber to Sidetrack Adventures for some time now if you enjoy Wonderhussy you’ll like his channel too! More straight laced but same adventure bug!
This is not the first time that 2 (or more) content providers I've been watching for sometime are connected in someway. It also amazes me at how small the world is, especially now with the Internet and so much content.
That was great to finally hear Sis talking...I've seen her for years, but she never really liked being on U-tube..Very intelligent and good looking!! Runs in the family..😊
❤ She's been on a few times before. Not too long ago she appeared with Sarah talking with a man from Europe at a local air bnb rental trailer, another time spilunkerering with Ross at the Tecopa mines, she also appeared filling sand bags during the death valley flood (attempt to keep water out of their house) while Sarah went to the Villa Anita Ball without her, last year(?) she was hanging a sail shade at their compound, and before that at their mom's house during Christmas. ^But yes it was great to see her again. LoL --> Gee whiz, you would think I was obsessed or something... Perhaps. She stole my heart hanging their sail shade while sporting a pair of baggy overalls! ❤
5:12 My aunt did something similar. Her bestie was dying of cancer and she asked Gladys to marry her husband Paul. They were very happy together until Gladys passed away from esophageal cancer. Gladys passed along Uncle Paul to her other bestie, and they were very happy until he passed away. Paul was a very devoted husband, a devout Mormon, and loved by all who knew him. A Vietnam Vet friend of mine did the same thing. His wife passed away from cancer, and she asked her bestie to take care of and marry her husband when she passed away. He was married to the first wife for 20+ years, and so far he’s been married to the second wife just as long.
Good research! Interesting. Yes, actually back in the early 1900's you could actually order a house from Sears & Roebuck and they would deliver the materials by train. The Burlington RR use to run through our farm in Osborn, Mo which was the only way to ship cattle, and get supplies.
I am glad your sister decided to appear in one of your videos. She is equally as lovely as you. I hope she will appear in some of your other videos. It was really interesting to discover Evelyn's history. Keep up the excellent work.
Thx for the historical tour of the T and T Railroad in the Shoshone area. Your sister sure is nice. Love that Crowbar Saloon...haven't been there in a while.
Yay! The elusive sister makes an appearance! Been watching you since the early days, and so happy to see the character arcs 😊 love that she works at the museum. Very cool!
Great piece of sleuthing by your sister and yourself! Old railroads are fascinating! In Montana there are old railroad grades everywhere. Some of the most interesting were never completed because of WWI interruptions or simply ran out of money. A grade between Lewistown and Winnett, MT had some cool tunnels and fills; and another north of Lewistown has several tall trestles of both steel and wood. Another near Pryor, MT was in operation for less than 10 years when, because of operating at a huge loss, the railroad tore it up nearly overnight, dodging any legal effort to prevent the closure. A highway now uses most of the original grade.
Excellent video. It was nice to see John. He was so helpful when my friend and I visited Death Valley in 2019. So nice that I sent him a thank you card!
Janice and Brian here. Every installment of your travels is something we celebrate and save for moments of relaxation. This episode was a significant change in a direction we have long hoped for. You and your sister are a fascinating pair and bring what Brian's writer/teacher mother called great character opposition. We hope to see more of her and to hear about her prodigious knowledge!
Note to Wonderhussy’s sis….. I’m sooooo happy you’ve gotten more comfortable on camera and thank you soooo much for sharing your knowledge. Btw, it is sooo cool that you’re working at a museum. Thank you soooo much! You’re awesome as is your sis. 😘 Btw, I imagine you have a lot that you can share and I imagine everyone here on Sarah’s channel would love to hear your stories. Please consider creating your own RUclips channel. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
A local old timer to that area tells me Levi Noble died at Evelyn in a single vehicle accident. Noble was the first geologist to detail the stratigraphy of The Grand Canyon
Huell Howser would be proud of what you are doing. He could make an interesting episode about a puddle in a sidewalk and so could you. Keep up the good work....
I saw Sidetracks' Evelyn & like his site but you definitely are the Queen of details . Also glad to see your sister isn't camera shy anymore in spite of the fact that privacy has become a rare & precious thing these days.
Sarah. Your sister is absolutely gorgeous. Been subscribed and watching for years. Glad we finally get to see her for more than a glimpse, and hear her talk. You’ve mentioned the slow growth of your channel on multiple occasions. If you want me to be point blank, include your sister in more videos. Bet the channels growth will increase.
Its so refreshing to finally see and have your sister speak and be on video!! Hopefully, this will open her up and that you'll feature her on your channel every here and then!!
This video is exactly what I’ve been saying about you for years now…. You make everything so interesting because of your, and your sisters of course, hard work, and research…. Spot on!!! Thanks Sarah !
Well this may have been a video about a long dead town, but this was one of your most comprehensive videos. We had you in the middle of nowhere, but then making your way to the metropolis of Shoshone, we had your ever improving drone camera skills, we got a detailed, review of how Evelyn came to exist, operated and then moved into the realm of long past history, and then we found out some very important information, we found out that you have a in with the Shoshane and surrounding areas history, with WonderSis (I love that name). An excellent 19 minute video, about basically some railroad ruins located in one of the many dots on the map in Death Valley. Starting 2024 in to fomr, if not in full voice from the Coco Puffs!
Sarah’s done it again… and proved why you’re the greatest Desert Chick it the whole USA! Only Wonderhussy could turn borax into boxoffice… and find the mystery in the moldy remains of an old west settlement! When RUclips starts the Vlogger Academy of Arts and Sciences, you’re gonna win an Internet Oscar, dear… and I hope you’ll don your showgirl sequins to collect the prize and make your acceptance speech! Bravo!!!
Awesome ! yes , Steve showed the place , but you put some real History Lesson to it ... excellent job , WonderHussy ! its always great to see E ; a lovely lady , fer shure ... youve outdid yerself today ❤😊🎉
Hey Sarah, Tom the guitar player here, loved this video! I've done lots of exploring in the area, including hikes along the old railroad grade, and did not realize the resources available at the museum! Awesome! History mysteries indeed...cheers! (I'm dealing with tendonitis, otherwise I'd be playing at S & B, hopefully soon) Love the history of these 'forgotten' places!
Another great video! Who doesn't enjoy a "history mystery"? Thank your sister for us, for all the great info and for her volunteering at the museum, it's very kind of her.
Last time I was through Shoshone I was traveling to and from a music gig in Tonopah. On the way home, we stopped and saw that the museum happened to be open, so my mom and I went through it. Let me tell you, they have gathered a lot more information since then. I do remember that the mammoth bone was there. Glad to see it still is. It was the 'main attraction' of the museum. So glad to see that Wonder Sister is no longer so camera shy!
I'm sure it's already been pinned a dozen times but it's really nice to pin a face on your sister, she seems like a delightful and beautiful young woman such as yourself. Thanks for sharing love you guys
How nice to finally see your Sister! Great story of love that knows no age boundaries. I'm 61 widower and would like a young gal. Thank you Sarah and Sis!
Fantastic video Sarah. In the 50-60 years I've been traveling the desert, I never knew the story behind the 'Evelyn Site'.. It's so cool to know that Eliza works at the Shoshone museum.. Back in the early 60's I used to get gas at the station which is now the museum, (26 cents/gal) I used to drive a service truck through there every two weeks. I remember I accidentily popped some of their florescent tubes with a tall radio antenna I had on my truck...... Anyway, thanks for a great story!!!!!
It takes a skilled and wonderful story teller like Queen Bee Sarah Jane to make the story of a nowhere nothing place like Evelyn interesting. Once again, well done Sarah ✔
Good one Ms. WH. Sometime when you're in LA please do a video of the shack Tex Watson made across the road from Spahn ranch called the "Just in case place."
A great Wonderhussy adventure. Love this collaboration with your sister. There may be scores of potential stories from Shoshone. Possibly an entire series of Shoshone area sagas supplied with some support by Sarah's sister. ❤❤😊
What a Plesant surprise us viewers got a real treat in having some interaction with your elusive sister. WTG WH, how did you pull it of getting her to be seen and heard all in one video, awesome. As for Evelyn, what an interesting adventure. There is so much history right in front of us and all we need to do is find it in the internet or a museum in the middle of no wear, Thanks for the video.
I'm amazed that the T&T left any buildings intact: usually when a railroad abandons a site, they'll raze everything they built, including complete towns. Good to see Wondersister again!
Too fun...I can't wait to get out in the "middle of no where"! I am in Lake Havasu, on my way back to Nevada...Take care, Sarah...see ya in the next video!
My sister who still lives in Seattle called me tonight and I shared this story with her. I told her to visit your adventures just 5 minutes ago. When we were younger she joined me in my vans for road trips. Maybe I can invite her on my next road adventure, could be down your ways.....Keep on keeping all of us smiling!
Who would've guessed Wonder Sister is the resident historian 🧐🔎
"Wondersister"! I like that. Good one.
❤❤❤
I love The Wondersister name too! You two are awesome!
Me.
Sarah, so nice to see your sister in your videos, such a lovely young lady too. Her smile is so contagious, she must be just like you, an adventure. Thanks for this video, I loved it.
❤Yes, no doubt! ELIZA is in the house!!! Everybody please stand up!!!!❤
I first developed my crush on her when I saw her up a ladder hanging their sail shade while wearing overalls!! Hubba Hubba!! Wink wink!😅 I really am glad to see her back on the channel.
AMEN!!!
Fun and interesting, with a little bit of investigating you can create a video out of what looks like nothing. Your story telling is A plus.
Your Sister is an absolute delight, please include her in more of your videos.
She probably would have, but WonderSis didn't want to be on Camera, I think this is most she's been in any of Sarah's videos.
Hear hear!
Nice that you linked to Sidetrack Adventures, the channel that inspired this episode. I'm sure Steve appreciates the courtesy 👀
Agreed, they can both be awesome!
I was just thinking that. Just watched his video.
I’ve been a subscriber to Sidetrack Adventures for some time now if you enjoy Wonderhussy you’ll like his channel too! More straight laced but same adventure bug!

Sarah's knowledge of the T&T R.R. as well as her sister's is mind boggling .
That was great to finally hear Sis talking...I've seen her for years, but she never really liked being on U-tube..Very intelligent and good looking!!
Runs in the family..😊
We need to hear more from your sis! She’s clearly a history geek.
When will you give is a tour of the Amargosa Opera House?
Doesn't she have two sisters, i don't think this is the one who lives with her.
❤ seeing your sister present herself :))
I loved seeing your sister, you have to have her in more of your videos. You make a great team.
That was a fun one! AND your sister WILLINGLY joined us on camera? Wow. Double yay! And thank you for a great vid. 💜
Your sister is awesome. Great video.
Sarah, it was great to see your sister on camera. I really don't know why she waited so long. She looks like a beautiful girl to me.
❤ She's been on a few times before. I like seeing your sister in your videos. Fun!
You finally showed your sister !❤❤
She's been in many videos.
She was one one in Arizona years ago looking to a hiding treasure
I love you and Steve for all the work you do.
I love the quirky history because it makes life more interesting. Thank you.
you make death valley sound way more exciting than freemont street
Well it's about time your gorgeous sister appeared on your channel, she is so amazing and talented,i hope she makes more appearences

Very interesting video. Thanks to sis for making a cameo!
The best measure of a person's intelligence is their ability for story telling This one was fantastic.
Thanks for another interesting video Wonderhussy! Nice to see your sister too! 💯❤

Are you the same guitar player that played "The Man from Iwo Jima" on Thanksgiving?
Yes, ha. Actually, The Girl From Ipanema, among others. Miss playing at Steak and Beer, maybe soon...
Fantastic video! Evelyn lives on in such an unusual way. ❤
"CHEERS" have one for me and thank you and sis. ALL stay safe!
Sara, your videos keeep getting better and better! And when is the lecture you're giving at the Shoshone Museum going to be and what is the topic?
Very good.
I was recently mislead by a video with almost 100% stock footage.
You're about quality!
Liked the drone shots, too.
Thank you. Now I’m enlightened and I know more about this here SoCal/Nevada dessert that my mom grew up in. Much appreciated, Wonderhussy and sis.

I’m shocked that your sister allowed herself to be on video. That’s the most exciting part of the video. LOL
Thanks for another interesting video!🐎

My new favorite video… Thank you for sharing a day in your life and your lovely sister’s work life. ❤
And sure enough: Wonderhussy does a better job on telling the story of Evelyn! :-)
Cool to see Desert Sister in her habitat
I watched the you tube channel Sidetrack Adventures do a video of the Evelyn circle but left it still a complete mystery.
This is the best one ever! This type of historical expose' is your destiny!
Yet another thoughtful, educational, and highly entertaining video. Great that sis is working at the museum!
What a cool video! Thanks for sharing this, and please keep going!!!
Thanks! Interesting history. Well done.
US route 50 was deemed the loneliest road back in 1986 by Life magazine. Your sister compliments your quest-driven curiosity!
