You have the first ones from the 80s "Degrassi High" and the new "Degrassi: Next Class 2016 -" which I believe is on Netflix now. But for me, the best are "Degrassi: The Next Generation", from 2001-2015. Drake started out on this show! This is also the series this line is from. Season 10-13 is my absolute favorites. I really recommend watching it! Many great characters and many great storylines. It's just so relatable, you know :)

This hits home. I had a bad childhood. I lived in a ghetto area where there was always shootings. I lived with my mother, sister, and my dad. My father and mother always got into physical fights. I tried to call the cops many times but my sister always stopped me from doing so. This broke my mother. My mother saw herself in me, causing her to hate me. I remember me trying everything to make her love me again. All she said was "I hate you" or "You make me miserable". I then left her to live with my fathe because I could not handle the abuse. I'm now 15 years old. I snapped at my mother recently. Telling her what I went through as a child.
My favorite quote from a show that I relate to is “go on laugh at the girl that loved too easily” whenever I meet a nice guy who I think won’t let me down I start liking them and can’t get them off of my mind and then they leave me because I never tell them.. which is what opened my eyes, ‘never fall in love easily...’ instead, give it time you never know what those people may feel. If your bestfriends for years and you start seeing changes in his personality towards only you and no one else that could be a good sign!
I really relate to this. My ex he says the same things, he broke my heart and ripped me to pieces and had me on the edge towards suicide. But then he took me back and said he loved me and said he hated that he did that. And no he won’t let me go, because I can’t love him anymore. He tore me apart and I can’t love him anymore. But he won’t let me go. He says he’ll die without me and without me he has no purpose in life. He didn’t really want to live before he knew me. And he hated everything and can’t be happy without me. I feel trapped.
I can see why you would feel trapped, but in reality you're not. If he truly does love you then he will come around to realize he should let you go. And second, he has to figure out for himself how to repair his own wounds. He has to stand on his own and the best thing you could do for him is actually tell him that you "can't love him". That is the #1 truth here so he needs to hear that - it will set him free.
This audio hits kind home. I used to have a best friend who I loved so much but I had to leave her because we moved. I found new friends but they all left me. When I reunited with her she changed, she started drinking, smoking, doing drugs and more and it happened right after I left. I don't why but I keep thinking its my fault that she's like this. Is it my fault? If I never left would she not want to throw her life away? Am I the reason she's this way? Could I have changed it if I reached out to her? Would I be able to tell her I love her. I would trade my life for hers if it meant she could live a normal life. I would do anything but it's too late. She gone too far. She was sent to a mental institution due to her having anger problems, suicidal tendencies, drinking problems, etc. She should hate me for what I did to her. I made her this way. I'm scared to face the truth. I know it's my fault. I just wish I could turn back the time and stay by her side. She was my first ever best friend. She was my everything and I left her on her own. Her dad died then I left her, than her mum starting drinking away the pain, and her older brother moved away. She lost everything. No one was there to give her a helping hand when she needed it the most. I wasn't their when she needed me the most. I would trade my lie for hers. I'm not even sure how she's holding up. I hope she okay. If I find out something happened to her I will never forgive myself.
I have broken down almost every night since my ex left me, and it's been almost a year. It hurts so much to know I love him, but he left me without a problem. As if he never cared for me at all. It hurts to know that he loves her more than me, when I have been there for him. I have been there for him through so much,but he just doesnt care.

One word of advice and I know people say this all the time, you need to love yourself first and know yourself and how you work before you decide to get in a serious relationship. I got into a relationship knowing we had moved to fast, he had confessed he l oved me day 10 of knowing me and said he was going to fast and I just got worse. My anxiety struck and I got argumentative at the end of my relationship, it was really horrid. I hated it I hated every bit of it, at first the relationship was great and we were happy, so deeply happy but I fell and started arguing and I felt like shit. I wanted to be loved so badly and even his affection couldn't top that .I was a clingy and needy bitch and I hated myself so much, he made me feel special and supportive but he was pretty bad at giving advice, helping me with problems and supporting me at the second. We were in a bit of a knot and I didn't feel comfortable around him in calls and video chats, I couldn't talk or anything I felt horrid I felt like I could tear up and stuff in front of him. He made me feel extra loved and special and like I had privilege to him. The point of this is, Know yourself first and love yourself even if it's hard. That was my first relationship and it lasted 6 months and I am beyond proud of myself even if I regret what I said and did through it all, It inspired me to do better with myself but I got worse, I got so worse. I am pretty okay now. I found a really supportive friend. You will get through it and to the people who don't have love, Have patience and be yourself, whether it be a goth, a dinosaur or a trans or anything else. I know it's hard.

This hits home. I had a bad childhood. I lived in a ghetto area where there was always shootings. I lived with my mother, sister, and my dad. My father and mother always got into physical fights. I tried to call the cops many times but my sister always stopped me from doing so. This broke my mother. My mother saw herself in me, causing her to hate me. I remember me trying everything to make her love me again. All she said was "I hate you" or "You make me miserable". I then left her to live with my fathe because I could not handle the abuse. I'm now 15 years old. I snapped at my mother recently. Telling her what I went through as a child.

I really relate to this.
My ex he says the same things, he broke my heart and ripped me to pieces and had me on the edge towards suicide. But then he took me back and said he loved me and said he hated that he did that. And no he won’t let me go, because I can’t love him anymore. He tore me apart and I can’t love him anymore. But he won’t let me go. He says he’ll die without me and without me he has no purpose in life. He didn’t really want to live before he knew me. And he hated everything and can’t be happy without me.
I feel trapped.
I can see why you would feel trapped, but in reality you're not. If he truly does love you then he will come around to realize he should let you go. And second, he has to figure out for himself how to repair his own wounds. He has to stand on his own and the best thing you could do for him is actually tell him that you "can't love him". That is the #1 truth here so he needs to hear that - it will set him free.

I used to have a best friend who I loved so much but I had to leave her because we moved. I found new friends but they all left me. When I reunited with her she changed, she started drinking, smoking, doing drugs and more and it happened right after I left. I don't why but I keep thinking its my fault that she's like this. Is it my fault? If I never left would she not want to throw her life away? Am I the reason she's this way? Could I have changed it if I reached out to her? Would I be able to tell her I love her. I would trade my life for hers if it meant she could live a normal life. I would do anything but it's too late. She gone too far. She was sent to a mental institution due to her having anger problems, suicidal tendencies, drinking problems, etc.
She should hate me for what I did to her. I made her this way. I'm scared to face the truth. I know it's my fault. I just wish I could turn back the time and stay by her side. She was my first ever best friend. She was my everything and I left her on her own. Her dad died then I left her, than her mum starting drinking away the pain, and her older brother moved away. She lost everything. No one was there to give her a helping hand when she needed it the most. I wasn't their when she needed me the most. I would trade my lie for hers. I'm not even sure how she's holding up. I hope she okay. If I find out something happened to her I will never forgive myself.

Oh man its hurts, we all experience like this many hearts broken.
One word of advice and I know people say this all the time, you need to love yourself first and know yourself and how you work before you decide to get in a serious relationship. I got into a relationship knowing we had moved to fast, he had confessed he l oved me day 10 of knowing me and said he was going to fast and I just got worse. My anxiety struck and I got argumentative at the end of my relationship, it was really horrid. I hated it I hated every bit of it, at first the relationship was great and we were happy, so deeply happy but I fell and started arguing and I felt like shit. I wanted to be loved so badly and even his affection couldn't top that .I was a clingy and needy bitch and I hated myself so much, he made me feel special and supportive but he was pretty bad at giving advice, helping me with problems and supporting me at the second. We were in a bit of a knot and I didn't feel comfortable around him in calls and video chats, I couldn't talk or anything I felt horrid I felt like I could tear up and stuff in front of him. He made me feel extra loved and special and like I had privilege to him.
The point of this is, Know yourself first and love yourself even if it's hard. That was my first relationship and it lasted 6 months and I am beyond proud of myself even if I regret what I said and did through it all, It inspired me to do better with myself but I got worse, I got so worse. I am pretty okay now. I found a really supportive friend. You will get through it and to the people who don't have love, Have patience and be yourself, whether it be a goth, a dinosaur or a trans or anything else.
