I started playing this last night. There's a small detail that made me smile. In all the years I've played the original H-L and BS and Black Mesa I can't say I've ever noticed it but it might be in those as well. It's the tram journey at the start. The trams sometimes run on a rail below the tram car, and sometimes on a rail above the car. There are moments when the car switches from below to above rails, and vice-versa, and the car is continuing to move forward through these switches. I noticed last night that at these switches, the car shakes a little. Like it really would. It's the small things!
This looks simply STELLAR. This entire trailer feels like a huge love letter to the original Black Mesa trailer & I love every bit of it, I can't wait to play tomorrow!

It was, by far, one of the best mods I've ever experienced in my entirety of gaming life. And here I thought SVE and Calamity were insane; this was shockingly amazing.
The quality of each and every dialogue, fluid gameplay, pretty fresh puzzles that stand out from those of Black Mesa, and the sheer work put into level design. I cannot wait for xen, and I really hope you guys get recognized by valve as an official remake when years pass and the mod is refined to perfection, just as Black Mesa's DE has been crowned the official title as a Half Life remake by valve.
So, I just finished chapter 4, and I have to ask, how in the heck has valve not hired you all up? This is valve-tier level design in action! Can't wait for more from you guys!

This is better than Black Mesa in every way, it's more detailed to a point wherein it feels like an official Valve release. Black Mesa is fantastic but no matter what, it feels like a mod. Blue Shift takes a few extra steps to blur the line between a mod and an official Valve release.
This chapter is really long, almost the length of the entire rest of the game, and it’s jam packed with the most amount of gameplay and story I could ask for. Probably about twice the length as the Goldsource version

I guess the reason why Captive Freight took one year instead 4 months like previous chapters is that they want to make this chapter more intense and has same quality as Black Mesa's Surface Tension. I don't remember i have to fight Ospreys in OG Blue Shift, the only vehicle that i have to battle is just one Abrams Tank.
I wonder how Focal Point is gonna be... since after this we are going to Xen now, i have a feeling it will be the longest chapter in BMBS, just see how CC expand 5 minute Xen into 1 hour experience? HECU won't miss that opportunity

(This is absolutely incredible guys, absolutely right up there with Black Mesa. I love all these characters. I was devastated by that To Be Continued. I encountered the odd glitch here or there, mainly with the chapter 4 elevator sequence where it took me a couple of tries reloading it to not leave an NPC behind, they tended to get stuck and not proceed forward if I got in their way or fell down the staircase so I got it working by hanging in the back of the group.)

Hi, guys and girls. I`ve done with this chapter. Have some remarks. Ambient sound is very impressive - i`ve scared in some points. Find ERROR: Diezel loco to be chained couple with container carriage where Rozenberg sientist in hangar. I`ve pulled over it from hangar to 1-st Turntable and a little far. Stopped and got out from loco, but ... carriage came through loco and had to finished at 2-ed Turntable where railway direction. Collaiders are broken??? Next. Add headcrabs more with dropings spooky. Not enough shootouts between aliens and army force. Everybody play!
