Yes! Creating an environment that is going to set you up for your success is crucial. If you want to have a healthy lifestyle but have nothing but soda, cookies, cake, chips, etc in your home how can you expect to be set up for success for health? If you want to have better sleep at night and scrolling is your issue why are you putting your phone by your bed and not across the room? It is time to look at our environment and see if it is supporting us in achieving our goals or where we want our lives to be. Love this! Thank you.
The two best, key pieces of advice you have offered that have removed obstacles for me so far is: One system does not fit all. My exercise has become more consistent since moving it to evening versus morning. If I happen to get some movement in before I leave my house at 6am than bonus. Your comment on self care, healthy lifestyle being for life rather then achieving an end goal was a big ah ha moment. Nothing else really matters if I'm letting my body and mind fall into disrepair. Thanks for sharing.
I NEEDED to hear that no one is coming; so much truth there. The one goal I focus on that I said and said and said I would do is take my behind to bed and here I am still trying to do it. Tomorrow does in fact take care itself and the past cannot be changed so worrying is pointless. Fatigue leads to no workouts eating anything and making poor irrational decisions. Time to pray pivot and be productive 🙏🏾🫶🏾 EXCELLENT video👍🏾

I'm using my planner and actually time blocking! Shamefully, I purchased a book case.. a year ago. I specifically time blocked Saturday from 8am to 12n to get it built. I spent the day not only completing it, but I organized my games, puzzles, books, CDs on it. I went ahead and organized and cleaned the whole game room and took down my other Christmas tree that was in the space. I'm learning to use momentum to go ahead and tackle whatever I can until I run out of gas! If I have extra energy on a particular day, use it ALL.
Love your videos! You nailed it with having a backup plan. That is something I struggle with because I tend to feel off my game when an unscheduled “thing” happens. But with two young kids unscheduled is the norm….so I am definitely going to work on a backup plan. Thank you! P.S. what type of alarm clock do you have - the orange circle?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in life is basically what you said - NO ONE IS COMING. No one is coming to save you, but that’s okay because YOU can save you. Let’s get it in 2025 💪

It can be exhausting to try to do everything. I'm focusing on my cardiac health. Dats it. I feel like by working on that I'll unknowingly be working on other things without feeling overwhelmed. I needed this! Thank you! I’m on a 6 day streak of incline walking/normal walking, stretching, and drinking water only. I’m trying to go for at least a month to see how I feel and adjust from there. I use a habit tracker!
