And the threaded inserts? Where can we find them?
Great little project, and useful too.
Not sure about the screwdriver as a table saw push stick though ........ it would make a mess of the driver, the saw blade and you if you slipped!!!
Instead I for buying seperate brass rod, threaded inserts and knurled knobs, you can use just simple brass screws and file off the heads and points as required, they’ll also hold the parts together better than a rod and CA glue.
That was clever, thanks
This looks cool 😃😃
Looks great. I might adapt that for my wheel dish gauge (it’s a bike wheel building tool).
Very nice tool yes you can buy them but as you said you like the old effect good job
Great video and tool thanks Matt 🍺🍺👍👍
Thank you
I like it, nice job.
Thank you
👍👍👍 Its really satisfying to make your own tools. Thanks Matt
Thank you
That's a very handy tool to have Matt and using the brass gives it a nice old school look.
Thank you
Neat!
Lovely bit of jiggery! Satisfying little project. 👌
Thank you
Beautiful, Matt! Amazing work! 😃
I don't know why, but those little projects seem to be the most satisfying ones to make!
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you. I did enjoy making it
Nice !
You could consider making a limited edition run with the Badger Logo for sale ...
That’s a good idea
Was about to comment the same - would totally buy one with your maker's mark on there!
Hi Matt, that was a absolutely brilliant idea, you certainly are an ideas person, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia
Thank you very much
50k subs! Congrats Badger lad, very well earned 👍
Great job. Handy tool to have

Nice little project and well thought out process Matt, I'm sure that will come in very handy !
What would Veritas or Bridge City charge for that ? 🤔😱
Quite a lot I’m sure
Sanding with fine grit might take longer but you stay warmer 😁.
Nice looking and practical 👍🏻
Yes definitely kept me warm
Could you add a brass wear plate to the ends? I suppose you’d have to glue onto the wood before sanding the notch.
Very nice and like you I like the vintage look. Next stop Etsy?
Thank you. Yes I might make some more
That is a really nice piece of work. The sepele and brass look great :)
Thank you very much
Hi matt
Great piece of work worth having a go at

Looks great! Reminds me of my old mortise gauge
Thank you
I’d buy one if you’re making more to sell 👍🏼
Thank you.
Nice one!👍😃
Thank you
Hi Matt, Very nice with that aged look about it, the brass just set's it off, a good workshop project. The endings of your video's remind me the end scenes of Lesley Neilson's Police Squad 🤣As always a great video Take care👍👍
Thank you very much
Nice!
Thank you
Cracking idea - also keeping an eye out for 50k subscribers!
Thank you
I’d buy one if you made a batch!
Thank you
Brass, wood and steel. The trifecta.
Yes definitely
Looks cold in the workshop, I thought you had some sort of heating element.
It looks the cats pyjamas great job. Thanks for the video
Thank you
neat and tiny, the brass makes it look shop-bought even! beter make more than one, or give it a designated spot! Such a small beauty might get lost quickly!
Thank you
