I am very appreciative of you and your content. I did a similar journey got out of $50,K in debt before I boosted my investments. I currently do 30% including our match. It is hard but doable. You HAVE to budget and discipline is critical. Since I learned about compound interest I sm completely fascinated by it. If you dont defer gratification at least for the first 200K it will make your journey so much longer. Would love to do what you do. Don't let the comments ever slow you down. Dome people will be negative no matter what. It is easier to give up before you start and make excuses because If you don't try you can't fail snd I think some people play that game. Good luck with your channel!!

Regarding the Money Guy Show - they do some annual shows which are really good. Net worth by age, 401k/retirement balance by age, debt by age, etc.

Hi there I’m unclear what you do with the 100k once you accumulate it. Only the lump sum can compound so quickly, correct?

I never worked for a place that allowed the mega door Roth 401k contribution. I currently work for the federal government and have tsp. That option doesn’t exist

Open on your own thru one of the many brokerage companies. TSP does now offer a Roth.

For the savings to be at 50%, what was the monthly income?
Car payments are nightmare and a lot of has to do with a lot of us never really being educated on interest rates and annual percentage gains of the banks
