I've been circling around buying this game for a while. I really appreciate your reviews/takes on all the games you cover. Thanks for essentially being our Australian Virgil.
I loved the free demo & played it through twice. This has been on my wishlist for a while & I'll be picking it up later tonight. Intersting to see a nice little preview in your video - cheers.
I remember a game like this, but instead of the city being flooded the air was toxic below a certain floor of your skyscraper, although it was less relaxed as and had infected, or something like that, wandering in lower floors.
First game was pretty Kino. Really loved the art and the game did a good job expecting the player to have a pretty good intellect for solving the cases. I don't know anything about the sequel, though.
Played some of the demo. I looked like a really good chill game. I quit when I was near death (?) because I couldn't figure out how to plant the seeds. Must have missed something.
Not bad, going to keep an eye on this. We have some pretty legit looking full fat games coming soon - 'Starfield' keeps looking better and better, 'Cities: Skylines 2' may be the most legit sequel I've seen in recent memory(this is going to set the bar for city builders, and it's going to set it REALLY HIGH), HOPEFULLY the 'Forza Motorsport' reboot turns out good - so I'm definitely going to need a chill game to go with those, something I can relax and pick my way through on an NFL Sunday while watching the ball games or something. This looks nice.
Watching this on the bus with earphones on, i heard about 10 bell noises during the intro and thought "oh this game is gonna be bad" but its just some prat pressing to get off the bus one too many times 😂
Once you get to the Smart Tower (which you can do pretty early in the game), you can unlock a module that connects all storage boxes so you can access one (or a workbench) and then, click your way through all boxes. There's an upgrade, too, where you then can access a box (or workbench) and then, scroll through a list of all your boxes to access a specific one. You can also rename them so you'll know what kind of stuff you got in which box. Can't say I, personally, got an issue with that ...
Reminds me of Force of Nature 2: Ghost Keeper, except in that you had ghosts helping you instead of bots and there was a fair amount of combat (that you could do whenever you felt ready).
I also don't agree with how they jammed "cozy" into the name, since cozy games are generally casual games with no hard objectives. examples: no boss fights, no character building.
The only AAA game I am waiting for is Starfield, I even couldn't care about Diablo 4. On the other hand there are a lot of small indie games where I can spend the little free time I have and have great fun.
A game right about my alley, a console Version would be great as long isnt like " youtubers life" that was expensive for an indie game in console

Your reviews always provide a great balance of both the technical and creative
I appreciate the fact that you don't just focus on the surface-level aspects of the
Your review was so well-written, it kept me interested from beginning to end.

I love how you always give a summary of your thoughts at the end of each review,
love the word "embuggerance", haha!
it's very helpful.
Sounds like a nice little game - indie games are killing it the last few years.

Are we going to get a V1.0 review now that it is out?

Its a top down pixel art shooter with escape from tarkov and stalker vibes
Your review was so good, I had to leave a comment and share it with my gaming

Remember playing the demo of this, it was good. Chilled and fun, if a touch repetitive
I have this game in my wish list to check in on later and see if it tickles my fancy when I'm in between games.
Sounds relaxing. Don't like the stress of survival games that give you 20 bars to micro manage.
Yeah demo was fun but can't stand it's early access so I don't buy them. Burned enough times with early access games.
I generally like cozy games, but this game seemed so weird that I've been putting off looking into it.

There is a first person game out in early access that has a similar aesthetic. Might even be the same concept, just in first person.
You should review Techtonica, I think it would be interesting for you.
Looks nice for nights when I can't sleep.

Too many of these games don't have an end game, so they keep throwing more random stuff at you until you finally get bored.

Just curious: how's the movement performed in the game? WASD? Point-and-click?
Computer: Demand just skyrocketed, you can no longer afford.
A game coming out later in the year called The Precinct, hope you'll review it?!

i cannot express how sick of these games i am
I'm done buying EA games, I even waited out Baldurs Gate 3 so I sure as hell can wait out this. Looks chill though.
Keep an eye on "Wasteland Waste disposal" Release Date: To be announced
Can’t remember what the game was, can anyone else?
Wait, how can someone review an early access?
Wait this game makes no sense, how does trade work when you are the only person?

"The Rise of the Golden Idol" came out a few days ago. I was wondering if you heard of it.
