I really appreciate this! There's practically no content on Isaac Lab on RUclips. I'd love more in depth tutorials, using custom PyTorch models for RL rather than those built in, things like that.
Really excited for future videos on Isaac Lab, will soon be starting job as a research engineer where we have to use Isaac Lab for RL algorithm training and simulation.
Really apprechiate the content around IsaacSim & Isaaclab, you really fill a void on youtube with your videos. Would be amazing if you could show how IsaacLab works aswell and what you can do with it !
I am trying to follow this same tutorial and I keep having errors. Right when I try to run the python kit command isaacsim opens but there is a bunch of errors in the command prompt and in the bottom left in the isaacsim window it says failed to startup python extension. Also I cannot run the isaaclab example from the documentation and I suspect that these are realted. Does anyone know what could be the issue.
The errors are likely related, I’d focus on solving those first. Perhaps you’re missing a critical package. If you’d like more help, join us on the NVIDIA Omniverse Discord’s Isaac Lab channel, or post your problem on the Isaac Lab repo as a Discussion.

@@lio1234234 thanks for the kind words. Hoping to release more in-depth videos soon 🙏

Just saying as a robotics engineering student, your videos are incredibly helpful. Please keep it up!
@@alyzengarage6807 so glad to hear that!
